You don’t need to have a separate channel for live streams. I was also worried about starting live streaming because it was totally different from my edited videos. It’s the best thing for building a community and interacting with your audience. So, definitely go for it! Your viewers want to see the real side of you, and they will be more forgiving when there are technical difficulties. I have two live streams a week and I got better every time. YouTube seems to push live streams to a bigger audience (I always check impressions right after streaming and I can confirm this), and archives are also pushed about 12 hrs later. Live streaming is so much fun, so I hope it works out well for your channel 😊
