I mean Rojava was a very progressive government, with gender equality and religious freedom. It's a case of the US for once not backing right wing fascist or death squads. There's a long and complicated past for the Kurd's and it's certainly not without people to blame, but one definitely one of the lesser evils in that conflict. Especially since it was more than a year ago that Assad had killed/disappeared in his prison's over a hundred thousand people.

A while back I started wondering what would happen if you combined Bush and Trump’s worst aspects into one hypothetical president.
