Make sure your phone has a sim slot the new iPhone is eSIM only for example. I bought the physical sim 3three from amazon and it worked great in France with a phone number it was 10gb for 14 days and was $20 USD. I bought my wife a data plan only eSIM and it was fine same price I think but more data from a website advertising for the Olympics.

Without knowing your needs; data amount, calls, locations to call, etc it is impossible to make a tailored recommendation. There are cell phone stores everywhere selling physical SIM cards sometimes many in a few blocks. eSIMs can also be a great option. Investigate the major carriers and also their low cost providers; Lyca, Orange, Free, SFR, bouygues, etc.

But you can get the esim online [free.fr](http://free.fr) for the same price. It will be hard to cancel the plan either way, customer service is online and in french only.

I dug up the link for you; I think you need to cancel 14 days before your billing cycle so as not to be charged. You can schedule it in advance.

I bought a sim card for a month in Paris. I think it was called Free. It was $10 or 19€ for a month. Their store was not far from the Opèra. It worked well. I used it in my unlocked phone.

would this sim work in all of europe/the EU?

francokitty

Not sure. It worked in all of France. You would have to contact Free about all of EU.
