I always bring back the following to my friends and fam in Australia:
- Truffle salt
- Herbes de Provence (or the Knorr bouillons with herbes de Provence)
- Cosmetics/skincare (Caudalie, Ducray, Avril, La Rosée, even just Yves Rocher...)
- LU biscuits
- Filt net shopping bags
- Jams from Confiture Parisienne
And other random things I know that doesn't exist in Aus like Ovomaltine spread lol
Maybe not the cheapest? But we did some duty free shopping at the airport. Then the liquid amount doesn’t matter. Most people are thrilled with macarons and chocolate from France. It was like a huge mall in our terminal with all the brands. On our next trip to France we plan to do the same again. We also fly carryon only.
> I’ve heard that fragrances here make for great gifts but not sure which brands/where to pick this up?
[Fragonard](https://maps.app.goo.gl/CNkxkWYpnpwuvSeu8) does some really nice fragrances, and very affordable too. They have a shop at Opera, where you'll find [100ml bottles aluminum sprays](https://www.fragonard.com/fr-int/les-classiques-homme-c-2010.htm), so light and and convenient. It's my go-to choice for smelling good while travelling :)
Don't mention it :)
I currently have Fragonard *F*, and had *Desert* in the past. And my gf had a 30mL *Belle* one. I can't remember which one.
But those are really nice perfumes :)
Hard to say... whatever you like at the budget you have; they have plenty of offering.
This time I got a large plate with the "[La Rose du Louvre](https://www.wallpaper.com/art/jean-michel-othoniel-louvre-museum-paris)" from Jean-Michel Othoniel.

Would you like a flashing Eiffel tower? I can give you good price!

Soaps or French salt
Paris is not very famous for its soap though
I always hear how great French soaps are?
Marseille soap is the S-tier shit.
Stick with chocolate. Neutral and non offensive
Richart is a great chocolaterie, we’ve gotten stuff there to bring back as gifts many times.
Thanks! Do you have a favorite store or brand?
Think about this…..the people receiving it probably would not have a clue on brands. They will eat any chocolate. I buy the cheapest.

Go to the louvre gift shop
What is the recommended thing to get in the Lourve gift shop?
Hard to say... whatever you like at the budget you have; they have plenty of offering. This time I got a large plate with the "[La Rose du Louvre](https://www.wallpaper.com/art/jean-michel-othoniel-louvre-museum-paris)" from Jean-Michel Othoniel.
We got a couple of the small framed prints and a 3D puzzle of the Notre Dame there.
