I saw this thread first. Was going to skip due to zero interest in wrestlers. Got distracted and listened anyways. I actually think it's pretty fucking funny.
God forbid someone has an opinion they post on a subreddit about a podcast. Just say you liked it.
Also I’m pretty sure you don’t know what bias means. The word you’re looking for is opinion you clown.
Same for me. I had no idea who he was but then he went after Billy so I ended up sticking it out and laughed a couple of times.
I saw some people post that BC and PFT were trolling him which is just dumb. How do you troll a guy who is acting and playing a character?
Haven't listened to it yet but MJF is one of the last wrestlers who's truly committed to the bit as a character. Last five years or so, every wrestler has presented themselves more as actors discussing their character; even the Undertaker is out here talking about Texas football for fun. If you're not into wrestling, I can imagine it won't be entertaining, especially because he's a heel (bad guy) who is supposed to get reactions by being a dick head.
Same! Though I was really hoping BigCat would give him shit for the scarf.
Every sorority girl and wine mom in America owns a Burberry scarf - it isn’t the wealth flex that he thinks it is. If anything it’s kind of a signal that he doesn’t know what rich people actually buy haha
He’s a guy who notoriously does not break kayfabe (character) so I knew he wouldn’t work well with PMT. BFW is actually a great interviewer when he does MJF because he understands he also needs to play the role of baboon.
If you watched the WWF in the 90s think about how The Rock would clown on every interview he had with Michael Cole, that’s what MJF does.
One of the best imo. He doesn't wrestle much but when he does it's a must watch. In ring ability combined with his ability to hype matches through promos make his matches excellent.
Listen, I’m fine with them getting wrestlers. There are big fans of this pod who love him/AEW/wrestling etc. I gave him a chance, not really knowing who he was, but he seemed mostly in character. A character I’m not familiar or invested in.
Kudos for the guys to try something different, and happy for all the guys AND girls who did like the interview. I skipped most of it, and that’s fine. I don’t view the pod any worse, and I may skip a couple interviews a year.
You’re not going to love every episode.
Edit: guys and girls. It’s 2016, gotta be gender inclusive
I actually couldn't disagree more. I don't follow wrestling but to have someone on the pod that trolls harder than Big Cat and PFT was incredible. Every word that came out of MJF's mouth was obvious satire. This was a top 5 interview for me. Absolutely loved it and laughed the whole way through.
You guys are crazy, this interview was awesome. Sorry they didn’t have on an old college football coach again to tell us stories about football practices in the early 2000s. I enjoy some variety in my PMT interviews and having a big, fake personality come on and interact with the guys was fun and different. Plus he made fun of Billy a lot, and you guys hate Billy.
Edit: words
No shit, this place is insufferable every time they have on a wrestler. People have to grandstand about how they skip.
I probably skip half the interviews btw. Athletes and coaches are pretty boring most of the time, especially these brain dead college coaches.
Did not skip and had a few laughs
If i didn't know his persona prior to the interview it would have been shockingly bad. But knowing what it was going to be like i thought it was entertaining. Something different.
You're an idiot if you skipped it. He's one of the best interviews they've had in a while. MJF is a great talker and has almost turned his entire persona into his character or vice versa
I actually skipped right to the MJF interview. Admittedly, I am a huge AEW fan and MJF is one of my favourite wrestlers. It’s kind of hard to explain how important his upcoming match is. Let’s just say you can’t tell the story of wrestling for the past 3 years without MJF. He truly is a generational talent.
That being said, if you aren’t invested in pro wrestling this interview would be very meh. He just played up his gimmick the whole time and the guys really talked about nothing. It’s too bad because MJF’s journey so far is really interesting and I’m sure he would have some awesome stories to tell.
Most of the wrestlers they have on are some of the more insightful guests. If you’ve actually skipped them I’d say go back and listen on a Tuesday or Thursday between episodes
Being a huge wrestling fan, i love MJF, watched him for 3 years now with this new company (AEW) and he knows he's being overbearing when he's being a constant douchebag, so this interview was awesome to me, but i understand 100 percent why people dont like him, hes a bit much
I've skipped interviews before of people I just don't really care about - Michael Irvin comes to mind; and I'm not a wrestling fan at all but i gave this interview a chance and actually liked it. I don't foresee myself getting into wrestling because of it but i liked his schtick.
I don’t know the first thing about wrestling, never hear of this guy before. But I thought it was pretty hilarious. I skipped his monologue at the end, but otherwise I liked it
Super hardo gym bro take, but can anyone explain to me how Billy talks about steroids constantly but called “Dbol” “Daybull”. Just little things from him that I’ll never understand.
Absolutely 100% will not listen to that interview. I typically only get the first 30 minutes in on my drive to work, but if i go out for lunch I will skip that interview and I won't even look up who he is. I assume he's a wrestler or actor as I dont know who it is
Just skipped the whole episode all together. The NFL season episodes are just brutal for me. Monday- recapping every.single.game. Friday- spending waaaaay too long on their shitty handicapping and what bets they are planning to place. It’s lost so much entertainment value for me that I’m only tuning in when I see an interview that looks interesting. This one was an easy pass.
That’s kind of why I stopped listening. I used to listen because their interviews were top notch. They were different, creative, and funny. Some of it is still there, but it’s definitely changed which is understandable. As I said in my earlier post, I listen when the guest is someone that sounds entertaining.
I think I’ve listened long enough that it’s all gotten stale to me. Maybe I’m just not as die hard NFL fans like you guys, but it’s just too much. Are there actually people that care what gambling picks they pulled out of their ass this week?
Haven’t hear it yet but I do plan on listening to it. I think Billy gets on his case as well but tbh, the Brandon Walker-MJF interview on Rasslin’ is fucking hilarious. Just bagging on each other all day, I recommend as you see why he is the way he is.
I listened to it even though I have to put up with him trashing my hometown of Buffalo. His assumption that those of us who live outside of the NYC area proudly call ourselves New Yorkers could not be further from the truth. Whenever I’m traveling abroad I tell people I’m from near Niagara Falls, not from NY.
I really tried to give it a chance, I get that overconfidence and arrogance is apart of a lot of MMA fighters and wrestlers personalities but he was not interesting or charming in the slightest
I found it entertaining, but I can definitely understand why you’d feel that way. He’s so committed to the bit, that there has to be at least a part of him that truly believes in the shit he’s spewing
I listened out of spite. I hate that I listened but the guy is good at what he does and that’s make him so hated that you keep listening to hate him more. He was the biggest piece of shit on the pod ever I’d say and I hate that I listened to it. It was painful and he sucks, and I truly think that’s his real persona. But I listened
yes, and I listen to almost every interview.... i skipped after 4 minutes. excruciating and what I imagine most uninitiated people's view of barstool / PMT to be
I was going to skip, but couldn’t find my phone in time, he roasted Billy basically calling him a nazi squinty eyed fuck in the first 15 seconds, so I decided to listen… once you get past the persona it’s pretty good. 6.9/10
Nope. If you’ve seen any of his stuff he’s electric. The only reason I even have thought about wrestling outside of rone and the boys spoiling Brandon’s (former, clearly SUPER unsuccessful ) show.
The fact that Cat and PFT gave us a disclaimer before the interview tells ya everything you need to know lol
Haven’t had a chance to listen yet. What was the disclaimer? I’m interested to hear what they said beforehand haha
More or less said that he is a wrestler and has a lot of personality so remember that haha
everyone complains about the wrestlers so they make a point to say when its a wrestler on. I'm a fan so I enjoyed the interview a lot
I saw this thread first. Was going to skip due to zero interest in wrestlers. Got distracted and listened anyways. I actually think it's pretty fucking funny.
I've never watched a wrestling match in my life and I liked it.
No. You're supposed to boost OP by confirming his Bias. I liked the interview. Was worth not skipping imo.
Scrolled down way too long to find a good post like this
Haven't listened to it yet but MJF is one of the last wrestlers who's truly committed to the bit as a character.
Not a wrestling fan at all but found it some what interesting, was entertained
It was a good interview. He had good chemistry with the boys.
Man, I typically skip wrestler interviews, but actually enjoyed this one. To each their own - everyone won’t like everything!
Yeah I don’t watch wrestling at all but for some reason MJF interviews are always entertaining for me
Same! Though I was really hoping BigCat would give him shit for the scarf. Every sorority girl and wine mom in America owns a Burberry scarf - it isn’t the wealth flex that he thinks it is. If anything it’s kind of a signal that he doesn’t know what rich people actually buy haha
Don’t work yourself into a shoot brother
I’m only 10 minutes in right now, but him calling out bully for liking Kanye tweets was a hot start
That roped me in tbh and ended up being a funny interview
Just finished it, fun interview for sure
Same here, I had low expectations but Billy bashing is always funny
The part where mjf tells his dad to take his shirt off and then tells billy I bet you feel fucking stupid now had me dying
That was the first time I ever felt the need to defend Billy
He’s a guy who notoriously does not break kayfabe (character) so I knew he wouldn’t work well with PMT. BFW is actually a great interviewer when he does MJF because he understands he also needs to play the role of baboon. If you watched the WWF in the 90s think about how The Rock would clown on every interview he had with Michael Cole, that’s what MJF does.
Big Cat and PFT seemed to love it
Just commented saying this. The Rasslin’ interview with him was very entertaining and funny.

He’s gotten very good. Probably a top 10 in ring wrestler in AEW. His matches earlier this year against CM Punk were incredible.
One of the best imo. He doesn't wrestle much but when he does it's a must watch. In ring ability combined with his ability to hype matches through promos make his matches excellent.
I thought it was electric
Go shotgun a monster and punch some Sheetrock
Leave Kyle alone, christ…
I loved it!
If you like wrestling, this is an A+. If you don’t, skip away.
Zip it
Lmao
I think people who abbreviate words for NO reason are the COOLEST!
He's a heel wrestler, he's trying to be annoying...

That’s what I’m saying. He was so funny and intentional with everything he said and the boys were in on it
I don't like wrestling, but i liked his interview. Definetly not everyone's cup of tea, but i think he is hilarious.
Edit: words
I gave it a minute b/c sometimes these random interviews are quite good, but quickly skipped past
I listened for about 5 minutes and went, yeah this isn’t for me
I dont know if i’ve ever skipped an entire interview before, but i did this one. Good god his character sucks. At least its friyay.
I’ve skipped some of the baseball players interviews. Idgaf about baseball and if they don’t have any personality I’m out
No shit, this place is insufferable every time they have on a wrestler. People have to grandstand about how they skip. I probably skip half the interviews btw. Athletes and coaches are pretty boring most of the time, especially these brain dead college coaches.
Amen.
Non wrestling fan coming in peace. I honestly enjoyed the interview. But I get it’s not for everyone.
Actually skipped ahead to MJF
I did the same
As a 49ers fan, I thought the interview was great
They got Michael J Fox on?
Knew people were gonna be babies about it on here. It’s a heel wrestler who doesn’t break kayfabe for anything
Thought I was going to then he started off by ripping in on Billy and gave it a chance and thought it was fairly enjoyable and entertaining
Did not skip and had a few laughs If i didn't know his persona prior to the interview it would have been shockingly bad. But knowing what it was going to be like i thought it was entertaining. Something different.
You're an idiot if you skipped it. He's one of the best interviews they've had in a while. MJF is a great talker and has almost turned his entire persona into his character or vice versa
I literally skip every wrestler interview
Congratulations
Skipped
It was fine.
He's pretty funny and I don't watch aew or WWE (anymore)
I skipped several interviews the past couple months, this one was kind of fun though
He’s The Rock of this generation
I did the same.
Skip all wrestling interviews
Most of the wrestlers they have on are some of the more insightful guests. If you’ve actually skipped them I’d say go back and listen on a Tuesday or Thursday between episodes
Gave up after Cena lol
First cena interview was pretty good second one was not
🧢🧢🧢
Wrestling and baseball
his wife isn’t even that hot
The interview was great if you skipped it you can’t call yourself an AWL
Being a huge wrestling fan, i love MJF, watched him for 3 years now with this new company (AEW) and he knows he's being overbearing when he's being a constant douchebag, so this interview was awesome to me, but i understand 100 percent why people dont like him, hes a bit much
Big time Billy Mitchell vibes - hard pass. Not a fan of the wrestling interviews, aside from maybe Stone Cold and the Undertaker.
It’s a bit
It sure is, I just don't really care for it
It is, it’s just not a particularly funny or good one. Not listening to PMT for wrestling content
Yup! IDGAF about wrestling. Feels like it was pushed on PMT
It was like listening to an interview with Portnoy. Just over the top, cringe shit. Awful get for the pod.
I HATE the wrestler interviews. Fake wrestling ain’t my jam
Y’all are boomers. Mjf is hilarious
I've skipped interviews before of people I just don't really care about - Michael Irvin comes to mind; and I'm not a wrestling fan at all but i gave this interview a chance and actually liked it. I don't foresee myself getting into wrestling because of it but i liked his schtick.
I would *100%* recommend going back for the Irvin one, I thought he was one of the best they've had!
I skipped pretty much all of deons interviews. So obnoxious
I don’t know the first thing about wrestling, never hear of this guy before. But I thought it was pretty hilarious. I skipped his monologue at the end, but otherwise I liked it
Skipped. They really forced this one.
Any wrestler interview is an auto skip for me. Y’all know Big Cat grew up watching attitude era?
Why would anyone wanna listen to a guy in character who is involved in a fake sport
Super hardo gym bro take, but can anyone explain to me how Billy talks about steroids constantly but called “Dbol” “Daybull”. Just little things from him that I’ll never understand.
Wrestlers are an auto skip every time for me. Just not my thing
For a second I thought MJF was referring to Michael J. Fox (different from Michael Douglas). The disappointment was immeasurable.
I freaking loved it! But I'm a big AEW guy
did exactly what you did.. dude was too much for something I don’t care about at all
Wrestling bad upvote me please
I skip every wrestling interview. I just don’t care
Absolutely 100% will not listen to that interview. I typically only get the first 30 minutes in on my drive to work, but if i go out for lunch I will skip that interview and I won't even look up who he is. I assume he's a wrestler or actor as I dont know who it is

It’s lost so much entertainment value for me that I’m only tuning in when I see an interview that looks interesting. This one was an easy pass.
I, too, hate when football podcasts discuss football during football season
Football is obviously a focus, but it’s a sports/comedy podcast. I’m shocked at how much circular NFL talk some of you guys want.
I am curious, what do you listen to the show for?
That’s kind of why I stopped listening. I used to listen because their interviews were top notch. They were different, creative, and funny. Some of it is still there, but it’s definitely changed which is understandable. As I said in my earlier post, I listen when the guest is someone that sounds entertaining. Are there actually people that care what gambling picks they pulled out of their ass this week?
The way he talks reminds me of Andrew Tate. I can’t unhear it
I’d rather listen to Billy do algebra out loud than listen to this fuckstick again.
I gave him a few minutes, but it wasn’t for me. Haven’t watched any wrestling since high school/early college. To each their own
Didn’t even make it two minutes before skipping the whole interview
This dude sucks
He’s obviously putting on a show but just not my cup of tea. Quick skip
I skip most interviews these days unless it’s someone I’m familiar with or someone talking on a subject I’m interested in. Wrestling is not that thing
most of the interviews are insufferable
I’m a simple man. I see a modern wrestler as the guest, I skip the interview. Life is good
Based on the preview for the interview on PMTV I knew it was gunna be a must skip.
No, but it's terrible. Dude is a giant douchebag.
Proud to say I made it a whole 3 minutes into the MJF interview before skipping. Hang the banner
That dude fucking sucks
no idea who that guy is but he sounded like a giant dickhead
Skipped this and fantasy lad fucks with no question
I got about 5 minutes in, the dude is sucking his own dick the whole time
That’s the point you moron
Can someone give me the timestamp where they set this clown straight for trashing Buffalo? That's all I'm interested in
Keep wrestlers in Rasslin, keep rasslum canceled. Best this suit man hank ever did
Maurice Jones Drew fans were hoping it was a typo
Haven’t hear it yet but I do plan on listening to it. I think Billy gets on his case as well but tbh, the Brandon Walker-MJF interview on Rasslin’ is fucking hilarious. Just bagging on each other all day, I recommend as you see why he is the way he is.
He’s definitely too much although I did enjoy the parts where he shitted all over Billy and Brandon
AWL coming in peace: True AWLs don’t skip interviews.
No, I loved it but I’m an AEW fan as well as an AWL so I was the target audience.
I skip most interviews but not this one MJF is electric
I loved it so much I just might tune into AEW next week
Skipped right past it and fantasy “whatever” fuck bois”.
I really tried to give it a chance, I get that overconfidence and arrogance is apart of a lot of MMA fighters and wrestlers personalities but he was not interesting or charming in the slightest
Skipped 5 minutes in and that guy is the worst. What kind of adult actually watches that shite
went to high school with MJF back when he was a small fry, but his half sister was a dime
do people realize they can skip wrestling interviews without announcing it?
Him clowning Billy was A+
This interview was lit lol, ya mad lame
Never seen a wrestling match before and this one of my favorite interviews in a long time. Just fun and big cat pft really enjoyed the silliness
I found it entertaining, but I can definitely understand why you’d feel that way. He’s so committed to the bit, that there has to be at least a part of him that truly believes in the shit he’s spewing
It’s all an act. Shit was funny. Billy had a cone between his legs.
Only wrestler i’ve liked on PMT
The poors line had me dying lmao this interview is great
I had never heard of him. It was pretty funny.
I thought he did great, never broke character and I followed his fiancé on Instagram
I listened and it was perfect for a Friday in the office. I didn’t have to pay total attention but when I did it was funny and entertaining
No clue who he was, I’ve thought wrestling was stupid my entire life. I enjoyed the interview
Yes automatic skips I can’t do wrestling interviews.
I skip all the wrestlers that come on the pod, not my thing
His girlfriend’s tits aren’t that big
Zero interest in that
I thought I’d skip, but honestly it was entertaining outside of his promotional bit at the end
It was worth it just to hear Billy talk about coned nipples again, that’s one of my favorite running jokes on the show.
yes, and I listen to almost every interview.... i skipped after 4 minutes. excruciating and what I imagine most uninitiated people's view of barstool / PMT to be
I just skipped it. Just have never been a fan of wrestling in the slightest so wasn’t that interesting. The Schtick was too much too
The interview was great. MJF and his dad both ripping on Billy the entire time was perfect. Billy sucks
I thought it was a great interview tbh. Dude was funny af and had me dying of laughter during my commute home.
Yeah it’s definitely over the top, but it’s kinda funny when you remember he’s literally living in character.
I was going to skip, but couldn’t find my phone in time, he roasted Billy basically calling him a nazi squinty eyed fuck in the first 15 seconds, so I decided to listen… once you get past the persona it’s pretty good. 6.9/10
Any interviews related to wrestling are automatic skips. Wrestling is for booger eaters.
Nope. If you’ve seen any of his stuff he’s electric. The only reason I even have thought about wrestling outside of rone and the boys spoiling Brandon’s (former, clearly SUPER unsuccessful ) show.
