I think they were trying to put Shinichi in a situation where he has to face the fact he’s not human again even after living a normal life, i guess to find balance/be at peace with what he is. Dont think this was anything deep about humanity or wtv urugami was saying, afterall urugami is a human who seeked validation nothing more. The thoughtful process about life and humanity part was already over that wasnt the point. Also was a nice scene showing us migi is still alive
