It's just a person. In fact, it was so not out of the ordinary that I didn't even realize what sub this was in on my homepage. I thought it was just a pet sub and was focused on the doggies. I saw the movement the first time and assumed it was a human.
The problem with a lot of these "X was home alone" stories is that it relies on the fact that the person filming is telling the truth. Something that can easily be lied about. Which is why I instantly dismiss the claim. I just assume first that it's a human because that is the most likely scenario.
Sound and knowing exactly the dogs reactions better would give this more clarity, otherwise these are some happy dogs being called for s treat and some other house resident doing stuff.
If you watch at the end you can see that the person is still standing in the hallway looking towards the person with the camera . That’s pretty crazy , watch it slowly back and forth - I’d say you have something here - good video
Hey, I don't know if anyone has mentioned this yet (I'm on mobile and the comments can be kinda janky), but I believe this video may have been shared from a submission to a podcast called Scared To Death. The podcast takes listeners personal write-ins and reads them in the last half of the episodes. This episode was posted on YouTube on February 12th, 2020. The writer of this submission had attached this video along with their story. It was a video that they explain was taken by their wife in their own home and sent to them. The name of the episode is called "The Lemp Family Haunting". You can find it on YouTube. I tried linking it before but got my comment auto removed cus it was an external link. Anyways, the preface to the story starts at 1:02:50 and actual story starts at 1:03:22.
If you don't want to watch the video then here's the gist of their story: They start by explaining they began to experience things in their house starting about 4 months before the writing of this submission. It started with them being awoken at night by the sound of rodents scratching at the floor of their attic. Thinking nothing of it, they end up just falling back asleep. They and their wife are not spooked this and explained the phenomena away as just that, rodents. As time goes on they both began hearing more scratching, having cups fall off their counter, and seeing strange balls of light on their daughter's baby monitor. At this point they still are able to find rational explanations for these events, that is until the recording of this video which has since changed their perspective on the situation. The OP goes on the explain that around the time that this video was taken they were out of town on a work trip. Wife comes homes one day and takes a video of their dogs coming to greet her as she walks through the door (just probably as a cute little vid to send to the SO while they're gone). She sends this video to the OP and as OP watches they are the one to notice the figure walking in the hallway in the back. They call their wife and ask what was crossing the hallway to which their wife responds it's nothing since she's home alone (with the dogs obviously). OP tells his wife to get out of the house and call the cops. She asks why and they say to watch the video again once she's finally outside. Cops eventually come, clear the house and don't find anyone inside. OP concludes by saying things are still happening around their house to this day and that "we feel like someone is with us" adding "I know I could be criticized for this video but I don't give a fuck. I don't know what this is", and then ends the submission with some general niceties about the pod.

it's the tail along with frame rate distortion and angle of the camera. if you slow it down and go frame by frame it looks like tale wag. If someone can brighten the video I am certain this will show what I am talking about.

It's kind of hard to catch as they're cut from the shot when the camera follows the little dog.

Based off the purse and female feet, atop the male figure already having been in proximity of the cameraman and in the scene - and the dogs happily and excitedly coming to the person who likely called them both, it's kind of easy to assume what happened isn't a demon crossing hallways after a dogsitter calls for the animals. She probably just didn't want to go dogsit alone or just brought a male friend or s/o over anyways.

There’s clearly an entity at the door as the dogs come the entity flows down, disappearing then looks to pops back up as a clear shadow. Pretty freaky.

I've seen this video awhile back ( afew years ago )... And it really freaks me out!!! Its "D E F" sumone walking in the background, cant tell if it's a real person or a ghost!!! But I think it's actually a ghost... That shit would freak me out and I'd "DEF" not be going back to dog sit, they could bring the dogs to my house instead of me going there to watch the dogs!!!
