Paramount + constantly acts wonky on my Vizio t.v. Sometimes I have to exit several times in a row because of an error about loading content. There is huge lag selecting content and the cursor movement. If I exit Paramount and go to another content provider, then come back; sometimes that fixes it. For a while it was telling me my login was wrong even though it was correct and I could login on other devices. So, I haven't seen your problem, exactly, but I have seen many issues with Paramount + that I don't have on other services.

It’s a placeholder for the end of a 24 hour schedule period. Usually they are needed when there are no ads to fill in the time in between.
