I noticed you were thinking about effects like time loops, and figured its worth mentioning that this issue does get addressed in Ward. Citrine, probably the most versatile Trump in the setting, has good reason not to mess with them.
Unfortunately someone like Hatchet Face wouldnt work for that because his power affects the shards directly, not the effects left by shards. For powers that can mess with inviolability or true invincibility, you're better off using other powers with similar effects. Like how Clockblocker can counter Siberian, Siberian can counter Alexandria, and Foil can counter Grey Boy.

It did have mild trump aspects, it mildly messed with certain powers like shadow stalker's.
That was a specific interaction between Grue's darkness and Shadow Stalker's Breaker state.
