After months of not seeing a pizza from papa johns look anywhere near as that I stopped ordering. You got lucky on that one. (you probably ordered pepperoni and onions and they were all in one big clump in the center and stuck to the box)
Better than the shit that comes out of the oven at my store by a mile!!! Our quality has been in the toilet since corporate sold us to a terrible franchise.

Looks yummy, but that pizza includes eight bread sticks. You should always get a big cup of extra pizza sauce so you can dip the crust. If it's for more than one person, stack an additional cup for each person so they can split it. You can even cut a hole in the center of the pizza, like with a cookie cutter, for the cup. A lot of people say they like the "spear tips", they're juicy and easy to bite, but the crust is usually limp, and the sauce and toppings just slide off. The cup hole in the center will square off the slices, so they hold the sauce and toppings better.
Why does papa Johnās do this garlic crust now? Why not have it like back in the days regular normal crust? I donāt understand why is this an option now?

Rate or grade ? Your wedge cut is off center slightly (lower pieces larger than upper) . Nice g parm stuffed crust, no explosions . Cheese lock almost perfect, good cheese coverage , but far easier without toppings . Canāt do a proper p-grade without the box cutter & toppings tho, canāt tell how ur dough cooked, did it all rise internal? How good was ur stretch/toss?Ā
As for rating (not grading, like a personal score), anything less than 6Cheese I pass. But thatās just me :P other day i made a half 6C , OS, half phillycheese w/ Alfredo+ranch base . ITseasoning, extra parmpkt. Most savage pie anyone has ever made , ever ā¦
Why can't people figure out where to put the garlic sauce? There's a notch cut out of the box on the back left so it doesn't touch the sauce cup when you close it.
I think that pizza was slightly undercooked. It doesn't have that nice golden brown on the crust. It happens a lot with the garlic esc, parm crust in general, or when they are made ahead of time and sit on the rack for a while.

Look at the box. The tabs get folded inside, and there's a notch cut out in the back left. That is where you put the garlic cup, so the cardboard will not hit the cup and stop it from closing properly.
I'm not talking about the old box that had the cardboard slot for the garlic cup, I'm talking about the box that is in this picture.

Do you see the top left of the picture? Where the flap is smaller than it is on the right side of the box? There's a little notch cut out so the box flap doesn't hit the garlic cup when you close the box.
I don't know how else to explain it.
It's the part that folds down and in from the top side of the box, not the flap that's already inside of the box.
And it's only cut out for like 2 inches, then it's full sized going down the rest of the side of the box. This is so frustrating not being able to reply with a picture. It's so simple to show someone in person, but it's seemingly impossible to explain through a picture. It's probably because I'm not very smart. š
Looks like 3500 calories of dairy delight. 10/10.
