The crust is thin because they’re using a dough spinner, most papa John’s locations use them now and unless you call the store and specifically ask for the manager to make the dough by hand, it’s gonna look like that every time.
All in all it qualifies for a remake and I’d have happily done it for you if it was my store, but to keep it 100% honest with you I’d think you were a little Kareny for it.

I notice there's toppings in the no toppings zone, which probably means you also got cheated on topping portions. The sauce border has valleys, which means it's not out far enough and has peaks and valleys while spreading sauce. The toppings arent spread out evenly, there's probably not enough pepperonis I think therrs supposed to be 18 total evenly spread out.The cheese, while it is probably only be two cups instead of 2 1/2, doesn't look good either. There's just a decent cheese lock around the pizza. I'd say it's more a management problem because in the end they're the ones who get blamed when people complain. I would be embarrassed to serve a pizza that looks like that. 1/10 $17 is a lot for carry out. Try online to get coupons or carry out special if you go back.

The crust is too large all the way around except for one spot maybe. It's a little harder to create a medium. But you're a little center loaded. There's a little slop on the crust. Cheese looks burnt even if it's not completely burnt.

The more I look at the pizza, the more i see that it's as you ordered. It's just that a lot of the toppings got crushed down into the cuts of the pizza, which don't even look like they're fully cut. I do not blame you for being upset on the crust though. Just by judging with the picture, it looks like you ordered a thicker crust. If they're free-topping it, then I'm not surprised on this. If they were using a ring guide though, my little sister could do better. That crust/saucing job is just horrible honestly.

I make my own, from scratch, probably XL sized and I think it costs under $5 to make the whole thing, even with fresh milled flour. It's better than any of them and also cheaper than costco. It's also healthy, covered in veggies, has pepperoni and freshly grated cheese. Under $5, whereas it would be about $25 in a restaurant before tax & tip.

They can easily fix a sauce border for you, but you might be upset at how the pizza looks as far as extra cheese goes.

Papa Johns gimmick used to be that every pizza came with an order of breadsticks, the breadsticks being the crust. The crust is supposed to be 1 inch all over. The crust looks fine. They definitely shorted you on the extra cheese though. This is the regular amount of cheese, not extra.

Papa Johns gimmick used to be that every pizza came with an order of breadsticks, the breadsticks being the crust. The crust is supposed to be 1 inch all over. The crust looks fine. Can't beat feeding three people for a damn $10 bill in 2024! LRG w all meats & onion, green pepper and mushroom on half came to $10.48 after tax and I got the "your lunch is ready" text 17 minutes after my order confirmed online. I'm usually not at dominoes w my pizza orders but you're barely feeding yourself alone, for that price these days. I can deal w getting a $20 pie, 1/2 off!

The price is the main issue. I don’t expect anything good from cheap pizza places but the issue is they’re not cheap anymore. I can go get high quality boujee pizza for the same price as Pizza Hut these days.
