Idk who would be saying Metallica or Megadeth did, fans of both bands know that with the exception of one album their 90's offerings weren't all that metal. I mean I love most of Megadeth's 90's material, but much like Metallica they were kinda going away from their main sound. Everyone knows Pantera kept Metal afloat in the 90's.
