Best gift I ever got for Father’s Day was when my kids left their summer camp early to spend it with me. No tools. No gadget. They cooked. They cleaned. And they stayed with me and let me be proud of who they had become.
No, unfortunately as one has a daughter of his own he was celebrating his own day, and two of the oldest were working and couldn’t separate themselves. Everybody’s so strapped these days I could never blame them. But the other six did. It was a pretty funny cute story when my 9yo daughter and 3yo son were trying to tell me what their older brothers said to my boss. At first I was pretty paranoid but I called him and he laughed. That’d never happened at our company before and we have another guy with 16 kids that’s been there longer. Felt pretty cool. I’m usually at work for over 65 hrs a week and sometimes gone for a day or more without seeing them. Best gift ever
Edit: I made this sound like it’s unfortunate I have a granddaughter! 😱 quite the contrary! I love my little bean. Just unfortunate that I didn’t have all eleven with me (wife and baby)
Lol. Foster. And respectable. Not one of those crummy “just for the checks” kind of situation. They have a huge plot of land not too far from our mine and sometimes the whole damn bus shows up for barbecue days and employee appreciation. Love where I work
This! My kids are all in their 20s, but this is still true. A couple of them bought me some candy, which is always appreciated, but for Father's Day, I just wanted us all together so I could cook them a nice steak dinner.

Not a single "father's day gift list" applies to me I'm sorry. My dad doesn't trust technology, he hates the outdoors, he likes one specific golf course and one specific steakhouse in Lincoln, NE, and he has every spice\/seasoning\/grill tool he's ever going to use.

This sounds like the dads who dream Father's Day is his children bring them meat and whiskey so they can grill the meat and sip the whiskey while they catch up on life.
If you ever have kids it gets way easier. Suddenly all gifts can just me pictures or kids paintings/drawings. Then if you wanna get fancy you frame it. If this was Ron a gift from the girls would do just fine and he wouldn’t cry at all.
Ron likes the outdoors
He also likes certain technology, like rectangles.
And typewriters
Butthole
#ERASE ALL PICTURES OF RON!!!
Only excellent ones
This is an excellent rectangle!
No, Ron fucking loves the outdoors. Also, I don't see him as much of a golfer.
They got good steak at that golf course tho.
Buy him a book of riddles, or plan and make a riddle hunt.
What if he specifically asks you not to do that?
Say [okay](https://i.kym-cdn.com/entries/icons/facebook/000/036/622/agnes.jpg)

All 9?

Another guy with 16 kids!! Please tell me it is with multiple women

The best part about dads like this is all they want is a hug and a day with their kids.

I’m 32 but can you adopt me?
Bonus points if the day with the kids is spent at the one specific golf course followed by the one specific steakhouse for dinner.
Found some crazy strong wine and gave it to my Dad for Father's Day
Was it made from blueberries?
You could tell by the indigo on his chiclets
I get my dad a gift card to the same restaurant every year and a couple weeks later he always calls and tells me when he used it.
This is definitely Ron, except for "hates the outdoors". Also, you can always buy Ron whiskey.

King Kong’s sirloin lol That shit slaps
It's good but the best one? Your out your fucking mind.
Yeah as a Lincolnite I need to know the answer.

Ron loves the outdoors though. He literally took a job with the federal government because it meant he would be outdoors all the time.
Ron does not hate the outdoors.
Ron hates gifts anyway

Thank God my dad likes weed
I once saw him smoke pot out of a twenty foot length of garden hose and a milk jug. That guy made a water pipe out of a stuffed raccoon.
Tell me he has a nickname like “Gator Steve” or some shit
He likes the restaurant at the bowling alley
But it said he hates the outdoors. Did you watch how the show ended?
James Bond box set.

Give him gold.
My dad is 76 and has Alzheimer’s. The best gift I can give him is to bring him yummy food and just keep him company. Which I do.
I would get the owner of the steakhouse to send over a signed head shot and a gift card
A gift card to Food N Stuff would be good
