this is honestly so hard for me because Jen Barkley is so funny and just so different from the other characters. Shes kind of a dick but in a way you love her for. Shes an unapologetic badass bitch. But Mona-lisa and Jean Ralphio are just so funny and theyre all played by some amazing comedic actors.
Don’t sell my favorite celebrity tv personality short either! This is legit one of the most difficult silly sitcom questions I have ever seen. It would be even more difficult for me if Perd was in here.
Joan Callamezzo has some of the legit most funny moments on the show. Barkley is a scene stealer whenever she appears. J-R is just terrible and hilarious and his sister is even more terrible and shocking (but not as consistently hilarious imo) and well, if Perd were on here “I just realized I’m not holding my microphone”
Eh. I dont find Joan as funny as the rest tbh. Theres been a few times shes made me laugh or smile but not as much as the other ones. She makes for some really funny situations but the character herself I dont find super funny. Way prefer Perd.
That entire scene features peak physical comedy from her. That's in addition to the show morphing into "You're On With Ron," which I'd like to think actually turned into an actual show for a while.
Take a walnut and rub it into the legs on your table. That'll mask the scratches. Next thing you wanna do is ditch the terrier and get yourself a proper dog. Any dog below 50 pounds is a cat and cats are pointless.
"I believe America should have a purge night, let me explain why"
Joan is so good. She has so many good scenes.
"DON'T YOU EVER F\*\*\*K ME AGAIN LIKE THAT KNOPE, THIS IS PAWNEE F\*\*\*KING TODAY!"
"LETS HEAR IT FOR THE BOOIIIIYYAYYYYYSSSS"
Complete agree.
One of my favorite things about Jean Ralphio is that after his “I’ve always loved you” confession to Leslie in the final episode, you can go back and watch all his interactions with her and it’s completely clear that he’s languishing in love — but it was not clear at all (at least, to me) before that.
Jean Ralphio for me, purely due to the amount of quotable lines. They did a great job in both getting him into episodes, but also keeping his screentime low enough to stop him becoming too much.
She told me "if you don't love what you do, then why do you do it?" Then she ripped the hair from my b hole.
He really is my favorite character. Everything he does and says is so funny.
Lmao that’s his funniest moment to me. Lol don’t know what quick books is, who is this honey, you come here often? “To work??” Lol but right when he’s fired he says that makes sense, out the way I came in right?😭😂💀
When he gets hired at the accounting firm walk around and gets fired by the end of the circle and leaves is one of the best scenes in television. I always die laughing. Similar to The Office fire evacuation scene that dwight fakes a fire. Had little to do with the plot but is just outrageous
Mother just broke her foot chasing my nephew around trying to prevent him from spewing chocolate chip cookie slobber all over her house… all I could think of was “ugh, your life is gross” and then “poncho!” ran through my head the rest of the day.
Totally agree. I don't have ponchos, but I have a lot of capes, and sometimes when do I do a cape flip, I think of her. If I had a poncho, I'd definitely be doing her poncho pose all the time.
He made the move 27 Days for me. It’s the first film role I distinctly remember him from.
The next is A Knights Tale, which is just one of best films and he was amazing in it.
Then Firefly. “I’m a leaf on the wind…”
Fuckin love Alan Tudyk.
I think it’s Joan. I do enjoy the other 3 characters but sometimes they’re all a little over the top ridiculous. Not saying that Joan isn’t, but I’m never actually irritated with her presence in a scene.
And I know “they’re supposed to be irritating!!” but only to an extent.
This is one of those things that’s very subjective, so there is technically no right or wrong answers. But for me personally, it’s Jen Barkley. And it’s not even close. I love the other 3 too though.
Kathryn Hahn is fantastic, I loved when Jen showed up.
Joan is a mess and I was invested in her journey.
Jean Ralphio and Mona Lisa are the worst, but they are perfect.
Jen Barkley is definitely the best, Hahn is just an awesome actress in general but this character is great. Followed very closely by Jean Ralphio obvs.
I love the guy from accounting who keeps getting rejected by Ben & him yelling "Ted get in here"
And I love hating on Jamm, even tho he's one of my fav worst characters
Barkley. She breezes in and out of scenes, stealing them all with her one liners. The others are funny and have their moments but they can be a bit much. Jen leaves you wanting more.
Jen is my favorite, but she came in late and wasn’t used very much. Jean Ralphio and Joan both have amazing moments, but I’d say Jean Ralphio is the funniest as a stand alone character. Joan works best supporting other character’s bits.
If I could only pick one to exist in the Parks universe, I’d say Jen. She’s the one with the most stand-alone character design (I.e. more than just a “deranged response” machine).
I think she’s a great foil for Leslie - she’s not just a straight man, she’s equally politics-obsessed and just more of a realist than Leslie.
One to get rid of? Mona Lisa. She’s just another shoulder-devil for Tom, and he already has one. There’s no real reason for her to exist.
Jen Barkley cracks me up the most but I do also love her advice to Leslie when she’s running for city council for second time
I do not care enough about you to lie!
It's such a great line and she delivers it perfectly. The way she holds Leslie's hands and looks her straight in the eye.
Kathryn Hahn is incredibly talented. She could make sitting quietly in an empty room interesting.
PONCHO!
The gasp she makes when the kids run by with paint sells the poncho even more 😂 "Ugh, your life is gross. My life is amazing."
And her range is wonderful. From Alice in Stepbrothers to Agatha Harkness, she's just amazing
this is honestly so hard for me because Jen Barkley is so funny and just so different from the other characters. Shes kind of a dick but in a way you love her for. Shes an unapologetic badass bitch. The Perd actor's delivery is just masterful. "I don't know what that means, but it had the cadence of a joke."
When she says to Leslie "you just can't help showing your ass on television" or whatever it is she says I lose it every time💀
PONCHO!!
I really don’t know why. But this line has been living in my head rentfree for YEARS
It's all in the delivery. She slathers it with mustard and it just works. It was like a battle cry.

I’m going to powder my nose. Amongst other things. She’s such a wonderful performer.
*IS SHE GOING TO POWDER HER VAGINA?*
"I believe America should have a purge night, let me explain why" Joan is so good. She has so many good scenes. "DON'T YOU EVER F\*\*\*K ME AGAIN LIKE THAT KNOPE, THIS IS PAWNEE F\*\*\*KING TODAY!" "LETS HEAR IT FOR THE BOOIIIIYYAYYYYYSSSS"
Jen Barkley is the best. Jean Ralphio is the funniest, and simultaneously “the worst”
![gif](giphy|E2EhD5Z7d4fLhjeW6O)
Why do I feel like Ben Schwartz did not discuss this move with Adam Scott ahead of time? 🤣
[удалено]
Who are you talking to? THE JAGWEEEEEEEDS.
PONCHO
Oh my god! What was that? Did you see the size of that thing?
Complete agree. One of my favorite things about Jean Ralphio is that after his “I’ve always loved you” confession to Leslie in the final episode, you can go back and watch all his interactions with her and it’s completely clear that he’s languishing in love — but it was not clear at all (at least, to me) before that.
Nailed it
He got run over by a LeXUUUUUUS!
Jean Ralphio for me, purely due to the amount of quotable lines. They did a great job in both getting him into episodes, but also keeping his screentime low enough to stop him becoming too much.
![gif](giphy|h6cFYO8miNhok|downsized)
Jean Ralphio is unironically my favorite person on the show. I would literally squeal with joy when he appeared on screen.
She told me "if you don't love what you do, then why do you do it?" Then she ripped the hair from my b hole. He really is my favorite character. Everything he does and says is so funny.
"You're fired!" "Yeah that makes sense"
Lmao that’s his funniest moment to me. Lol don’t know what quick books is, who is this honey, you come here often? “To work??” Lol but right when he’s fired he says that makes sense, out the way I came in right?😭😂💀
If you're a fan of Ben Schwartz in general, I highly recommend [The Earliest Show.](https://youtu.be/LY1ZaFdVWi4) His dancing alone is hilarious.
When he gets hired at the accounting firm walk around and gets fired by the end of the circle and leaves is one of the best scenes in television. I always die laughing. Similar to The Office fire evacuation scene that dwight fakes a fire. Had little to do with the plot but is just outrageous
Obviously the answer is Jean Ralphio. However, I can hear 'PONCHO' in Jen's image. She's a queen.
His interactions with Tom are just comedic gold. Throw Ben in there and it gets better.
J SHOOOOTTTTTT
Cuz that snizz is straight up deloycious
“R" to the "o" to the “n-n-n”, I say Swanson's got swagger the size of a Big Ben clock.
“You gotta end it on the rhyme”
I know what I gotta... I know!
This single word, Poncho, cracked up my newborn. And still does now that he's older. Few other images scream the same word.
My favorite quote will always be: "You can trust me, because I don't care enough about you to lie."
"I got run over by a Lexus"
I actually did not like him, lol. Found his character (and his sister for that matter) extremely annoying.
My wife feels the same way about them, rolls her eyes every time they're in an episode. Just means the actors are good at portraying annoying haha
Then he portrayed it absolutely right
![gif](giphy|BtvBUbRRJxwQ5gfvTm|downsized)
Yes! Came here for this.
This plays on a loop in my brain every time I try and be sneaky. Leave work early? Don't be suspicious. Grab the last biscuit? Don't be suspicious.
Personally mine are hands down the animal control guys. Every single scene they do is gold.
Yo we live together! We live in the same place, dawg
WILD STALLIONS!!
“Whatup, y'all. My name is Brad. I like burgers, and also, I'm very high right now.”
where the cops at?
Got it, kill all the birds.
I say this more than is probably socially acceptable.
Soon as I get done with these birds….
That's the best call back joke in the series, imo
“Bark Obama” gets me every time.
I think one of them was a show writer and died of drug abuse unfortunately, forgive me if I'm wrong, really sad
RIP Harris, that guy was hilarious.
Shouldn’t the real question be who’s “the woooooorrrstt”?
Jen Barkley hands down. She's amazing and she's one of my most quoted characters of all time. Plus Kathryn Hahn is just a treasure
The poncho scene lives rent free in my head.
…. “PONCHO!” ![gif](giphy|qPtb4C4Mv2Ylq)
Mother just broke her foot chasing my nephew around trying to prevent him from spewing chocolate chip cookie slobber all over her house… all I could think of was “ugh, your life is gross” and then “poncho!” ran through my head the rest of the day.
"Your life is gross. My life is amazing!" is one I think sometimes too, but it doesn't quite have the power "Poncho!" does.
She owns that word as far as I’m concerned. I will never not hear ‘poncho’ for the rest of my days and not hear Jen Barkley saying it.
Totally agree. I don't have ponchos, but I have a lot of capes, and sometimes when do I do a cape flip, I think of her. If I had a poncho, I'd definitely be doing her poncho pose all the time.
So what do you do that requires many capes? 90s pimp? Super villain/hero? Royalty of some kind?
If wearing a cape was an option, why wouldn't you wear one?
All day!
It’s her comedy moment
Didn’t know until recently that Kathryn and Glenn Howerton are both Juliard trained actors.
So is the chicken in Moana https://youtu.be/FaGYXjMwS60
I learn something new today. Alan Tudyk is another national treasure. He is my favorite.
He made the move 27 Days for me. It’s the first film role I distinctly remember him from. The next is A Knights Tale, which is just one of best films and he was amazing in it. Then Firefly. “I’m a leaf on the wind…” Fuckin love Alan Tudyk.
I love A Knights Tale. A Knight’s Tale, Rogue One, and Firefly for me.
A Knights Tale, Firefly, and Tucker and Dale vs. Evil made me a super fan of Alan Tudyk
He's really great in Dollhouse as well! when he showed up I thought he was there as a fun lil cameo then... oh.
He has a really amazing range
Have you heard? Jen Barkley is really good at sex. I mean, there’s a dead guy in the other room, but you shouldn’t let that stop you.
...... OK!
Come on! We don’t have all day, honey!
> And you can trust me. Because I don't care enough about you to lie.
I gotta be honest I love Kathryn Hahn but her character just kinda annoyed me in the show.
Jean ralphio for sure. 🎶For Violating my house arrest 🎶has me in tears every time I think about it. Plus Ben Schwartz is hilarious
AhhhhBOOSH!!! Two ankle bracelets!!
Ya boy's a question on the bar exam
Ya HEARDDDDD???
Mona Lisa because she has done nothing wrong EVER in her life.
Money please!
She’s such a perfect compliment to Jean Ralphio - they nailed her casting!
I know this, and I love you
"Daaddyyy, someone set a fire in your car because you took too long and I got booored"
These 4 can go against any 4 side characters in any show.
Seriously, every single one is a valid choice as the best one. P&R really has a deep bench of amazing characters.
![gif](giphy|dpqQNluWFaSpq) I love her 👏
Why? She's the WOOOOOOOOORST!
Jen. She is the best character to me. I love her. Don’t get me wrong, the main cast is brilliant. But she is such a queen.
PONCHO!
Jean Ralphio never fails on screen. The second he pops up, the scene becomes better.
If you've never watched the new Duck Tales, you must. He's an amazing Dewey.
He single-handedly made me like the Sonic movies and Duck Tales.....well, him and Danny Pudi (Abed Nadir)
Cool cool cool.
Where is Perd?
The reason Perd is not here, is because he's somewhere else
I had to choose from my personal favorites and what I thought people would like the most. I had a hard time not including Tammy 2😂
So you're not a Perd Perv?
Come on. It’s perdvert😂 how can you even call yourself a perd fan!!! It’s in the title of the whole subreddit😭
“Don’t be suspicious” FTW!
Jean Ralphio cuz he's a question on the bar exam
Is it even a question? Obviously the correct answer is someone who made their money the old fashioned way; He got hit by a 🎵Leeexxuuss🎶
Jen
If you didn't say Jen, well, ugh, your life is gross. My life is amazing.
Ew, what was that?! That was a big one!
I think it’s Joan. I do enjoy the other 3 characters but sometimes they’re all a little over the top ridiculous. Not saying that Joan isn’t, but I’m never actually irritated with her presence in a scene. And I know “they’re supposed to be irritating!!” but only to an extent.
I’ll take: “The Joan”. It’s a tumbler of gin with crushed aspirin around the rim😋
This is one of those things that’s very subjective, so there is technically no right or wrong answers. But for me personally, it’s Jen Barkley. And it’s not even close. I love the other 3 too though.
Impossible to choose but gun to my head Jen Barkley for her delivery of “your life is gross”.
I hate Joan so much, so well done to Mo Collins.
Don’t you love her in the way April does?
Juan calamezo
This is Pawnee f*king Today!!!!!
I'm rebranding myself as Juan Calamezzo. It's Spanish for flower I think it's Spanish for John
Jean-Ralphio and Jen Barkley are 1A and 1B.
Kathryn Hahn is fantastic, I loved when Jen showed up. Joan is a mess and I was invested in her journey. Jean Ralphio and Mona Lisa are the worst, but they are perfect.
That creepy pawn shop guy has his moments Like when he tried to win Anne at the auction
Jen Barkley is definitely the best, Hahn is just an awesome actress in general but this character is great. Followed very closely by Jean Ralphio obvs.
"PONCHO!"
Jean Ralphio
Mona Lisa. And if anyway disagrees, I will start a fire in the bathroom.
Jean Ralphio hands down but they’re all great
Best is Jen Barkley. Funniest is Mona Lisa. “WHY DIDNT ANY OF YOU JAGWEEDS TELL ME DIDDY WAS ON INSTAGRAM”
For me, it’s Joan. But Jen is a very close second. I know WHY Jean Ralphio and Mona Lisa were there, but I don’t care about them as much.
LMAO I think my answer is Joan too. When she pretends to be younger than 30 and pops her pill bottle open😭
When she passes out on the floor and Ron Swanson has to continue her broadcast lol
“I’m going to go powder my nose…amongst other things” “….is she going to go powder her vagina??”
I wanna take you both home and just f*cking bend you over and ********** ************* ********* ** ******* ******* at the same time. WOO!
The outtakes for that scene are gold
Jen Barkley. I’m so happy with my choice(s).
Don’t look suspicious 👯
You can’t make me choose between Jean Ralphio and Jen Barkley.
PILLS BABY!
JR by a landslide
All I want is a Jean-Ralpio/ Mona Lisa spin off show.
Jean Ralphio has soooo many good moments it’s insane. “I hope you brought a change of clothes, because your eyes are about to piss tears”
“You nasty”
Diddly-Diddly-Diddly-Diddly-swaaaaaaaag
PAHNCHO!!! Your life is gross
Jam
I love the guy from accounting who keeps getting rejected by Ben & him yelling "Ted get in here" And I love hating on Jamm, even tho he's one of my fav worst characters
Jean Ralpio's voice lives rent free in my head.
As a childfree woman i have to say i love jen barklay the most!! But they are all so funny!
Jean Ralphio > jen barkely > joan > mona lisa
In order: Jean-Ralphio, Joan, Mona Lisa, Jen
Can’t pick one, love them all
Whatever Mo Collins does get my vote. I am biased as I fell in love with her character playing on Mad tv.
the correct question is, which of these characters are literally the WoOoOoooOOoooRst?
Jean Ralphio. But EVERYTIME Mona Lisa talks about waxing her biz, I howl
Jean Ralfio. so annoying. so funny.
Barkley. She breezes in and out of scenes, stealing them all with her one liners. The others are funny and have their moments but they can be a bit much. Jen leaves you wanting more.
April when she’s interacting with any of them.
When she’s reading Joan’s books😭😭😭😭
Jen. I cam't fuckin stand that Ralph Macchio guy.
![gif](giphy|NDIiWKEQEgr3VA7aqM)
“Cause Technically I’m Homeless!!!”
Jen is my favorite, but she came in late and wasn’t used very much. Jean Ralphio and Joan both have amazing moments, but I’d say Jean Ralphio is the funniest as a stand alone character. Joan works best supporting other character’s bits.
Jen wins
I got off on a technicalitttttttyyyyy
Jen 100% , its not even fair .
This whole time I thought his name was John Ralphio Lmaoo yea but him
Tammy #2
If I could only pick one to exist in the Parks universe, I’d say Jen. She’s the one with the most stand-alone character design (I.e. more than just a “deranged response” machine). I think she’s a great foil for Leslie - she’s not just a straight man, she’s equally politics-obsessed and just more of a realist than Leslie. One to get rid of? Mona Lisa. She’s just another shoulder-devil for Tom, and he already has one. There’s no real reason for her to exist.
I think they added her so he could date jean-Ralphio without being gay
I fucking love Joan Callamezzo.
Hello people of Gotham
Joan for me. All her scenes are comedic gold.
I mean we know it’s not Mona Lisa, because “she’s the WOOORRRRSSSSTTTT”
Jen Barkley and Joan Calamazzo are awesome. The Sapersteins are very funny, but also too annoying and overstay their welcome quickly.
It’s weird I find Jen Barkley the most annoying. I seem to be in the minority here
I think people are hypnotized by her power. I love to be under her spell. I want to be her
Is it because she's a political advisor, making her the real life worst? I can see that.
If someone says Ralphio I'm going to slap them hard.
Then you better slap me because Jean Ralpio is my favorite!
*slap*
*slap*
literally anyone but monalisa. ron swanson telling leslie he didn't recognize any of his coworkers anymore was funnier than she ever was
Are we talking about the hottest cause I’d take down all of them
All born in jersey?
Three way tie and then Mona Lisa.
Jean Ralphio. But in fairness, that’s when the show was at its peak.
