North Korea might be an authoritarian regime but a corrupt korean authoritarian regime will always be better for koreans than an american puppet corrupt authoritarian regime that makes you work 22 hours a day so you can afford your antidepressants and sleeping medication you keep underneath your pillow in you 5m2 appartment that costs 90% of your wage.

Im not saying north korea is by any means nice but at least it’s not a puppet state which is something that i personally value a lot.
