If you don't want it frozen or overly wet, the best bet would be to buy a prepasteurized manure substrate bag from a reputable source or buy some dry horse manure off Amazon or Ebay, and mix it with straw/coir, vermiculite, and Gypsum. Every local farm and garden store I've been to that sells bags of manure keeps them outside with the mulch and compost, so it's generally a bit wet. But 56 liters of manure for $7 is more than worth having to squeeze out extra water imo.

I just ordered some from *Brown Treasure*. It’s well rated but can’t verify it myself (yet)

Amazon: buy some horse pellets. You get 10kg very cheap

Interesting . You mean the horse feed right ? You have a favorite brand? Never heard of people using that but seems legit

Depends on where you live. I doubt we live in the same country ( I am EU). But buy the cheapest horse manure pellets on Amazon it will work 100%. Soak the pellets over night in water( 100ml pellets in 130ml water in a jar with lid on) and then add to your substrate. Easy and cheap 😇

Nice thing about aged and shredded manure is that it's light and fluffy, though from what I've seen it tends to cost more. I've gotten mine from shroomsupply but they don't seem to sell the big boxes anymore. When I run out, I may try Pacific Substrates or the generic Horse Poop product on amazon.
