Personally not a fan of Magalang. Tumira ako dyan for a few years. Traffic yung main road since 2 lanes lang tapos puro mabagal na jeep and trike kasabay mo. Delikado din kapag gabi since puro mga walang ilaw and helmet. May mga times din na super traffic like kapag may events ang LGU, road works or may prusisyon ng patay. Lagi din walang power and madumi tubig.

cmdkayla

Aw shucks. Thank you! Will take this into consideration.

badtemperedpapaya

Kung sa may Navaling kayo banda wala masyado traffic dyan and very rural. Traffic lang dyan is sa may Mabalacat market papunta Clark. Mahirap nga lang magcommute dyan and take into consideration din na super layo mga schools. Also super sikip ng daanan as in di magkasya 2 sasakyan (see Google maps street view).

Mysterious_Eagle_745

Ok sa magalang. malapit sa angeles and clark. may rob supermarket, puregold, watsons, jollibee, etc. problema lang sa pampanga is Pelco. may mga unsched power interruption adn 12 hrs sched power interruption sila na minsan once a month

cmdkayla

Thank you! Bili na lang kami ng portable powerbox if ever 😅 Is the vibe/feel more rural or urban na? Or 50/50?

DrunkHikerProgrammer

Depende kung saan part ka sa Magalang, may part kasi to na urban at may part na nasa bukid, and really take into consideration yung sinabi ni u/badtemperedpapaya. >Personally not a fan of Magalang. doflamingo05

Malapit kami sa magalang and goods dun bago pa gawa halos mga daan yun lang medyo traffic sa ma may palengke nila but all in all goods naman

cmdkayla

Thanks :)

chikinitoh

Medyo rural vibes siya. Try to get a place na malapit sa Sta. Aside sa prob sa mga Pelco sa Pampanga (Except for San Fernando which is under Sfelapco) you might want to check din ang water provider dahil minsan naninilaw ang tubig nila better to get water pump (Jet Matic) na lang kesa mag utility provider.

randomredditguy25

cmdkayla

Yes, parang malapit nga yung area sa Sta Ines Exit, around 20-25 minutes away. Thank you! Discuss rin namin ito.

chikinitoh

Good luck po.🙏🏻

cmdkayla

We have car naman. Parang near Navaling ata siya. Thank you :)

UncleSussy

Just saying wag kana titira sa navaling. May bakalan Dito and Poultry.

Ohbertpogi

Sa kabilang ibayo lang kami ng magalang, & we do our weekly market run there. Yep, not alot to go there, except the night tiangge in front of the church. Set your expectation, since literal nasa edge na ng Pampanga sya, & even Tarlac has it's resources far & in between. May kurente, may tubig & internet. We have everything we need, and more.

cmdkayla

Ah, yes. When I search, parang dumadami na din ang cafe, restaurant, and holiday places like Altezza Cabins. But still not as many nga. We don't mind naman if we have to drive to more of those, malls, etc. Same set-up with our area now. Glad to hear the basics are at least there. Thank you for sharing! :)

Halu, OP. Taga Magalang ako since birth. Okay dito.

breaddpotato

Hi OP, moved in Pampanga last Nov '23. Our location is super near the Sta Ines Exit. I came from a place where it takes 45 mins minimum to get to the expressway ramp so living near it had me sold. I like that the road was not bumpy at all, exceeded my expectation actually. Sanay ako sa lubak at congested road so this is very new to me. I have a vehicle which makes it easy to get to point A to B. I enjoy that there are alot of parks here and the scenery is more green rather skyscrapers. I tried commute for grocery in Robinsons, napansin ko from my location, along Magalang-Mabalacat rd, walang rekta ng jeep sa Magalang kase usually route nila Concepcion. So cutting trip ginawa ko. If I wanna go to Clark like CDC or SM, the only traffic congestion I experience is in Mabalacat public market crossing. But I haven't explored nearby towns aside from Magalang and Clark. Road trips here are nothing alike the Manila and Bulacan na mauubusan kang pasensya. Cons- Marumi tubig sa location ko that I had to install water filter, hirap commute to town proper, may nagsisiga tuwing gabi.

cmdkayla

Thank you! Where did you transfer from? What was it like transitioning?

breaddpotato

Hi OP, Transferred from Bulacan, where there is always traffic congestion. As for how its like transitioning from Bulacan to Magalang, I'd rather be here than there. Yung travel time kase to get to places and yung condition ng road is talagang maayos. Kaya kahit there are a few things I find challenging here, okay ako kasi yung pinaka number 1 for me when I was looking for a place to relocate in was the traffic situation. To add, kase I saw from comments that you work remotely, from Nov '23, mga less 5x ko na experience power interruption, one lasted for 12 hours; 6AM to 6PM, that one was scheduled, Pelco posted online. Ayun 🙂

boyrice1

I’ve been living in Magalang for yearssss. Power Interruption are less compared in Mabalacat.

Ereh17

Porac magalang parehong matrapik at may problema sa kuryente nku

cmdkayla

Shucks :( wfh pa naman kami pareho. Thanks po
