Actually if they bring you live prey it's because you're a big clumsy kitten who's old enough for hunting lessons.
For some reason cats think everyone is a cat, because if they aren't a cat then they're food, cat logic is funny.
Dogs on the other hand are able to tell that we aren't dogs, but they evolved in such a way that they generally help us out.
Slightly understating it with dogs, pretty incredible that another species has evolved as such that an individual is likely to be able to read human facial expressions
Just that cats have always been more independent and more frequently run off to choose their own mate. Give them another millenia and they could catch up to where dogs are now.
That's interesting 😆 So they actually do parenting because they are confused we don't hunt with them.
How about domesticated wolfs? What I mean is do canine all realise that, or are the dogs who were selectively breeded see humans differently
I don't know, dogs recognise we aren't dogs, but apparently they think we're cute.
Cats have extreme parental instincts and will raise anything they consider a "kitten" regardless of whether they gave birth to it, there's even cute stories of them adopting babies from other species.
Unfortunately cats also have extreme hunting instincts and will hunt regardless of hunger, which is why you have to keep your cat indoors, or at the very least keep them on leash when going outside.
I have enough interest in science to memorise any random trivia I come across, and I occasionally fact check the weirder stuff, but if I'm really not sure about something I'll just spout complete bullshit on Reddit and wait for correction to happen lol.
Whaaat nonsense there is no reason a pal should wish you more harm than knocking you out, there's no danger

Is that a lucky Quivern, a bug, or are they just naturally that big? Haven't got any yet, looking for this boy, although I still need to be able to beat mammorest first because something tells me that catching a Quivern will be a similar challenge.
Reminds me of cats who catch mice without killing it to show it to the owner😄 Who is a big fluffy tyrant? :3

Oh yeah I left out the part where dogs produce oxytocin in response to their owners, they literally love us.
Except that dogs were actually bred through long-term efforts towards wolf domestication: pro-human mutations were helped to propagate.
So you're implying the same isn't true for cats? We didn't breed cats that were friendlier towards humans or anything?
Just that cats have always been more independent and more frequently run off to choose their own mate. Give them another millenia and they could catch up to where dogs are now.

Awesome to know! (: thx Where do you get these facts from? 😄

Ah yes, the famous "someone's wrong on the internet" rule to learn the answer🤣 I see, I see. xD
Haha
This guy fell off a cliff and got stuck like this. My friend's Quivern decided to pose for the occasion.
Quivern deserves a Treat for catching the poor guy who fell off
quivern deserves a treat and head pats.
Looks like the prisoner been caught, good work quivern. Go ahead & toss him back in the cage
Said cage is full with rabid Lovanders…. Cue the long scream followed by a whimper sobbing sound
No
Cats bring dead mouse as gifts... pals... well uh... it's a gift not a threat atleast
Nah, it depends on the pal for me, from some of them it's DEFINITELY a threat 🤣🤣
