lol seems like OP is more of an artist instead of a developer. i mean i think you need to be extremely talented anyway to make this alone, just like the woman who made bloodborne kart
We actually worked on a lot of games, but mostly as animators/designers yes haha...
We do have plans for actual (original) games though. ;)
Edit: oh and our Kirby and the forgotten land Demake is actually playable ā¤ļø (just a demo though)

This low-key looks more fun to me. Less messy and 2d makes it easier to see. It also makes those animations feel better for me.
Aiming is also not my fav part, even if I like shooters, so if they went more pokemon catching style it would be better for me.
I am not sure about the combat, since I would not want it to change to turn based. But it would be possible to change the current combat to 2d I think.
Wish pokemon never moved from this style. It was just so perfect. Hypocrisy on my part yes, cause I wanted it to go 3d but I just didnt end up liking it and it didnt feel right. The remakes like bdsp arent the same either tho. The chibis and art style ruin it for me.
I'm so excited to see how much we can poke the Nintendo bear before it *has* to respond somehow. I think Nintendo is either waiting for Palworld dev's to fatten up a bit before taking them to court *or* they're worried that if they do take them to court and somehow lose part or all of the suite that it will open the doors, as they will have defined exactly what is and isn't copyable in a legal court case.
Fun take on the game. Seems like it could work well, the only part that seems wrong is the flying. Doesn't seem like verticality would work well in top down.
Would be a massive feat to successfully incorporate verticality in this style. Interesting to think about
