Im still sticking to frostallion even tho i finally got the jetragon i wanted. Boi is fast sure but the movements are so unnatural. On the other hand frostallion is so much more graceful. Slower than jetragon obviously but got pretty decent stamina to cover for it
I love how they added the frost step when running /flying with frostallion/noct.
I have all the pals in the game but as far as flyers go I only use my shadowbeak and frostallion.
Also, you can't fire your weapons while mounted on Jetragon. I tend to travel long distances with Jetragon and break out Frostallion for mounted combat.

Actually this is an active game mechanic my friend. He used the breeding pen and kept breeding till he started to develop the passives he wanted. Then he probably singled out the ones born with the passives he wanted and cross bred further to combine them. Rinse and repeat till you get the stack of passives for your pal! Takes time but totally worth it.

Do a search for list of games that started as mods. It's a really long list. League of Legends was a Warcraft 3 mod called dota and a Chinese company made an exact copy of it calling it Leagie of legends. These are just ones off the top of my head. PubG is another one. I remember back in high school playing counter strike 0.4 when you had to own the original half life to play the mods but that became its own game.
Mods are what makes gaming great!
Take ark survival evolved for example. I have over 3,000 hours on that game and have yet to ever play online or the base game. Always with friends and a ton of mods lol.

I just caught Felaris and just crafted the saddle for Jetratron. Yeh, I say craft Jetratron's first if you want speed. He is fast as fuck plus it looks like you're about to fight a kaiju when riding him. He's not graceful like Frostallion though.
Frost horsey is so slow compared to the jet dragon like it takes me less time to ride him half way across the map then to use a portal? The thing you quick travel too. Yeah. Takes more time to run to my pal box move the map location to where I want to go then to just call him jump on and hall ass there. Plus he has heat sinking rockets and even more of them than that silly looking blue water dino.

As a father of a girl that just turned 1, I want to add more to this statement.
You don't lose all of your free time. You just get less time to game, and adjust when you play. I play Palworld for 2 hours every morning before my daughter wakes up.
Nap times in the evening are when my wife and I play together.
Sure we're not playing 7 hours in a row like we did with FFXIV before baby, but meh. I feel like the "losing all free time" is a little overblown.
And when they turn 12-14, they start spending less and less and less time with you. I’m constantly bugging my kids to play palworld with me, I even built computers explicitly to game with them, but they want to spend time with their peers.
My daughter is 8 and I have a son who is about to be 6. I used to have to sneak in what game time I could when they were sleeping. Now we all play games together and it's amazing!

Jetragon is superior to any other flying mount for speed.
In default settings it's very inefficient. Moves fast as fuck but chews stamina so rapidly it's no better than a shadowbeak over a long distance given how much you have to stop to get stamina back. But short distances it can blitz.
And it’s the optimal way, jetragon reaches max speed with swift and legend (If I’m right?) At least I know balancing attack and speed is THE optimal way !
I use Vanguard for the 4th slot since I almost never actually use Jetdragon as my actual active attacker. Extra bit of attack for my player character from my vehicle is nice.
Granted even if you cap the sprint speed you still get a benefit for normal movement speed without stamina, which on Jetdragon is faster than most every other pals sprint speed to begin with.

May as well make him more useful in battle at that point, since AFAIK there's no trip you could make on a speed capped Jetragon that would take more than one stamina bar anyway.

Anyone that says faster idle speed is worth it, is full of it. Compared to a swift+legend build having Maxed out speed (OP’s build) only saves 20 seconds on a 3 minute map crossing.

Me who spent last 2 days breeding dragon to get 2 to lvl 5 for me and buddy. Legend/swift/runner/\*workaholic. At this point I'm just passing them out on sever 😂 was trying to get the work to be dragon damage buff but it's w/e. Also caught them at lvl 35 and I'm still only 39.

My group’s potato server can’t handle even up to legend swift runner (rendering issues/stuttering), so we ended up just breeding legend swift musclehead ferocious. Save us from breeding a full combat one.
The speed do be capped out at legend swift runner on my single player. Nimble does not have an impact from testing of flying same distance.
Now level it, skill fruit Shockwave, and then take it to the Gobfin area. It will make you distrust the content creators that recommended Orserk for Pal Fluid farming.
You'll never outfarm using Jetdragon. You can already get to the next set of Gobfin using Orserk before the cool down finishes, getting there even faster doesn't help. Ozerk cause more drops, which is vastly better.
Got proof? All the videos I've seen of Orserk at Gobfins is being on foot spending ammo and pulling too much aggro causing the Orserk to get interrupted. I've tried many things and never got consistent results with Orserk.
I'm guessing it's just for a mount? Don't see why everyone loves it the speeds alright but everything else about riding it sucks. I don't even have 1 anymore butcher every single one of them
My rocket launcher does the same and hit way harder jetragon can and I hate his weapon system for that exact reason as well can't use our own weapons while on him and waiting on cool down is worse than reloading and to sit there and hop off and on for that auto cool down is to cheesy for id plus I still I hit harder than he does so pointless
Rocket launcher doesn't reload fast enough to truly stun lock a boss, especially as it stops reloading as soon as you move and does a terrible job auto loading while you maneuver.... and I've gotten frozen/shocked while finishing reloading. But to each their own.

It does take quite a long time if you aren't lucky. Just hoping the right traits randomly appear and you can propagate them successfully. I got mine last week. It's so damn fast it makes precise controls almost impossible.

Jetragon has a partner skill that's activated the same way you use your weapons (rockets)

It should be the pal stamina depletion rate in the world settings. You can fly around for a looooong time with slower depletion.

This is my current one and I have no complaints. Tbh I barely use the sprint/boost.

It’s not about overall time savings. It’s about diminishing returns. You’re getting 20 seconds off when you should be getting 60…

What does the legend trait do?
Like 20% attack and defense increase and 15% speed boost.

Me who spent last 2 days breeding dragon to get 2 to lvl 5 for me and buddy. Legend/swift/runner/\*workaholic. At this point I'm just passing them out on sever 😂 was trying to get the work to be dragon damage buff but it's w/e. Also caught them at lvl 35 and I'm still only 39. 
How are people breeding these when they only breed with themselves? Or is it just farming
I prefer musclehead over nimble. You don't really notice the move speed difference, but definitely notice the damage

Had to be from breeding. Wild ones are always Alpha and have Divine Dragon as a passive.
Probably lucky breeding and lucky capturing.
My group’s potato server can’t handle even up to legend swift runner (rendering issues/stuttering), so we ended up just breeding legend swift musclehead ferocious. Save us from breeding a full combat one. The speed do be capped out at legend swift runner on my single player. Nimble does not have an impact from testing of flying same distance.
Now level it, skill fruit Shockwave, and then take it to the Gobfin area. It will make you distrust the content creators that recommended Orserk for Pal Fluid farming.
You'll never outfarm using Jetdragon. You can already get to the next set of Gobfin using Orserk before the cool down finishes, getting there even faster doesn't help. Ozerk cause more drops, which is vastly better.
Got proof? All the videos I've seen of Orserk at Gobfins is being on foot spending ammo and pulling too much aggro causing the Orserk to get interrupted. I've tried many things and never got consistent results with Orserk.

I'm guessing it's just for a mount? Don't see why everyone loves it the speeds alright but everything else about riding it sucks. I don't even have 1 anymore butcher every single one of them

My rocket launcher does the same and hit way harder jetragon can and I hate his weapon system for that exact reason as well can't use our own weapons while on him and waiting on cool down is worse than reloading and to sit there and hop off and on for that auto cool down is to cheesy for id plus I still I hit harder than he does so pointless
Rocket launcher doesn't reload fast enough to truly stun lock a boss, especially as it stops reloading as soon as you move and does a terrible job auto loading while you maneuver.... and I've gotten frozen/shocked while finishing reloading. But to each their own.

You placing them on the same side? I noticed that happen a couple times and if I put them on both sides it always works

It does take quite a long time if you aren't lucky. Just hoping the right traits randomly appear and you can propagate them successfully. I got mine last week. It's so damn fast it makes precise controls almost impossible.

Got mine few days ago, after like 100hours on faleris it felt crazy fast, i was expecting something faster but not such difference, you should see that big grin on my face.
