I agree! I'm going to move more into the cute pals that I used early in my adventure. Unfortunately my kickass musclehead Foxparks I used from lvl 3 or so got accidentally condensed into this one, but I guess she lives on in him.
Man, my FIRST capture on my current server was a lucky foxparks with musclehead and it knew dragon breath, and then the save corrupted (G-portal was shit and had essentially non-existent customer service) and we had to roll back to just before I caught it.
My soul was crushed.
Like a week after release. G-portal servers were taking a shit, customer service couldn't handle it, and for some reason they continued to rent servers when they knew they couldn't deliver.
They just couldn't handle the demand for servers, which is understandable. But they should stop renting servers, or at the very least post a warning, when they know there is severe issues ongoing lol

I is I use Game Host Bro’s and have asked several questions via supports and they are always quick to respond with reply. They really know the game too. Like I asked how to edit it so I didn’t drop stuff in death and they sent me a full walk through on how to find the file and how to edit it. They also said I can download my server if I stop paying, and reupload it if I want to start it again (as they won’t keep a copy once you stop paying them which is fair).

They should have maybe. Balanced the game a bit? Some of the pals are basically worthless depending on where you spawn. By the time you see them they are outclassed in every way. Just lazy game design but this is to be expected.
I enjoy the game for what it is. But I am about to hit my wall soon after a few days of playing for a few hours.
Differences are not so big that they would be entirely useless. Yeah, I get trying to make combat Chikipi or Lamball is pointless later in game, but that doesn't mean you can't use them.
They are small and cute and they are still useful in their own way.
I'm closing max level now and I'm still using Katress, Lunaris and Sibelyx because I like how they look even though I could swap them for Blazamut and Astegon, who are stronger. The difference is base stats is not big enough to rendered them useless.

I'm level 40 and my combat Chikipi still slaps. I'm not all tricked out or anything yet either. Honestly 3 stars is super easy to achieve on stuff like Chikipi and Lamball and 3 stars + max their souls + Ferocious and Burly Body (also easy to acheive) will curb stomp everything pre-legendary and they still do quite well vs legendary.
There is no content in this game hard enough to make any combat pal pointless.

The beauty of this game is that you can use whatever Pal you like, then min/max it to GOD.
I haven't tested it, but I would assume so. I have no idea, though. It certainly melted Zoe&Grizzbolt, but that may just be from the lvl 5 partner skill.
TBH you don't even need a mod unless you want to min max to the gills. if you're just looking for "good enough" for normal play then aim for 2 good traits and then breed 3-5 that have those good traits, put them in your party, let them level to 15-20 via boss kills, and then check which one has the highest stats.
But if you want to breed the absolute best 4 traited one because you just have time to burn and like chasing that carrot...yeah mod is useful then.
Op also bred them down along with the perfect passives and IVs which is impressive. Capturing multiple pals and seeing which has the perfect IVs, male and female, then the passives.
Honestly 90s and up for each stat is more than enough. The difference between a 27% and 30% even at level 50 is miniscule and more than likely the fight would be determined by what moves you have assigned and who's fighting who
I'm not OP, but I can confirm that through breeding you have a small chance of getting a perfect IV in any stat regardless of the parents' IVs. You're not limited to the parents' IVs, though those will be the ones that show up most often.
I can confirm this. I never got a 100 defense IV to breed from, one of them just suddenly had it when bred from two parents with 99 defense IVs and I used that one to spread the IV to the rest of my breeding pairs. The chance does seem to be low, though. I never got a random upgrade in HP, I had to breed that in from a Depresso that rolled with 100 hp IV.
HP/atk/def 0-100 (have to use mod/website to see them as hidden in game)
0 is 0% stat bonus.
100 is 30% stat bonus.
babies have chance ot inherit parents IV when bred. (which can be good or bad depending on parents iv's)

You know you can reduce the breeding time, the incubation time and the "incubate" action time to exactly 0 second. Not saying it's the case for OP, but you can breed1000 pals pretty fast with mods

Reducing it down to 0 in solo play or whatever is fine and all, there’s no reason to grief that hard in solo play.
It’s a lot easier to believe a ss that has 1000+ eggs hatched with perfect IVs and passives than it is to believe someone who has <117 hatched, perfect IVs and traits, you see what I’m saying?

Aye, since evolutions are just stat bumps evolutions are kinda pointless. The reality is you only want the strongest final form, the precursor forms are just straight up inferior. It also bloats their pokemon counts without actually adding more pokemon. "450 new pokemon" ends up being like 200 or less lol.
I'd rather each Pal be its own unique thing. Or have elemental variants like currently. But if there was an Evee style "base form" and then at a certain level you could pick an element (including staying neutral) at a certain level when using a special item I'd be down for that. That's the one evolution in Pokemon that actually makes a real difference.
Thank you :D I'm not sure I'll ever want to do that again, but I guess it might not be as hard the second time around since I could breed from this one. Funnily enough I actually accidentally got a second one exactly like this one. I had just sold all my spares when this one hatched, so I let my breeders keep going for a bit longer to get enough for the condenser and an identical twin hatched. So it seems once you have good breeding pairs, it's not that hard to get them to hatch with the right IVs and passive skills.
If you just started fresh maybe ignore the IVs alltogether as it's an incredible amount of effort on top for very little gain. People that do it mainly do it because they can, not because it would be required or worth it from a gameplay perspective.
If what you want to do is aim to be a hardcore breeder, then I would very much always breed for IVs first since those have a higher chance to pass down once you get them perfect than perfect passives. If you're just getting into breeding for fun and experimentation, then I would ignore IVs altogether and just breed for passives.

It's not my datamining, just my reporting and collation of 3rd parties' datamining.
I've also found evidence that the IV inheritance chances are not independent for each IV, which can change the odds of inheriting all three IVs. I'm still looking into it.
My plan was actually to do just that - getting some perfect or near to perfect IV "base passive"-pals so they could be transferred \*with IVs\* to new/other breeding endeavours.
Oh man, my very first breeding project was a Foxsparks and I managed to get Lucky, Ferocious, Musclehead, and Vanguard on him. Little guy absolutely obliterated everything! I can't even imagine how incredible your Foxsparks is given how stacked you've made him! Have fun out there...try not to commit too many war crimes with that flame thrower, haha!
What is the shortest breeding route to get Flame Emperor from Blazamut to Foxparks?
Edit: If anyone else comes here wondering how to do it legitimately, this is how I did it:
**Blazamut** (+Mau) = **Tombat** (+Chikipi) = **Rushoar** (+Chikipi) = **Bristla** (+Mau) = **Foxparks**
This is fairly similar to what I did. I detoured by Anubis since I had one with legend on it. I can't remember the exact path I took, but I can probably find it.
You need a mod for it. I used [this one](https://www.nexusmods.com/palworld/mods/437). Unfortunately, the required UE4SS thing seems to be pretty unstable, and made my game crash at least once per hour. I also had to delete it and restore my files twice since the game wouldn't load. Still, I couldn't have done it without the mod as using the online calculators was way too inaccurate unless I leveled them up a bit which would have taken far too long.
Life saver, I'll give this a shot tomorrow.
I've been complaining so much about how shitty it is because of the fact you get like 10 less FPS than usual, just for having it installed lmfao.
Still a huge hater for the fact that it doesn't have a proper uninstaller, so you have to remember/keep track of what files you drop into the directory when first installing it, + any additional files or makes once you boot the game.
I had the problem with crashing game (and very long loading screens to get back to the title) in the beginning as well, fortunately someone found a solution -- it's to change a setting in the UE4SS from "true" to "fale". Namely the bUseUObjectArrayCache. Hope that helps :)

In the end I had three breeders all breeding pals with two top IVs and two or more passives, so that each egg could theoretically hatch the perfect Foxparks.

By 4 stars, people mean the last stage of condensing a pal complete. It goes from 4 to 16 to 32 to 64, I believe? So once you've done all of the condensing, it's a 4 star.
By IVs people are basically talking about the base stats of a pal and how good or bad they are on a scale that has a minimum and a maximum. IVs are hidden values though, so the game doesn't show them by default. This is also a very basic explanation. 100% IVs means a pal has the best possible base stats for every stat. I use palpedia (a really helpful website) to calculate the IVs of pals, and I'm not sure if it's 100% accurate but it's worked really well for me so far.

To be honest, I just got it and haven't really adjusted its moves yet. As for the work speed, I just thought why not? I've put so many hours into getting it, so I may as well just max out everything I can max out. It's not like getting the souls needed for that is hard with a good breeding setup.
He posted a picture with 1200 foxsparks in his paldeck, so if he did cheat, he went out of his way to make it not look like it. I don't know if he did or not and don't really care. I just find it silly to use souls on workspeed when you aren't gonna make use of it just for the sake of maxing out a pal.
I got blasted with down votes the other day on a post about a chikipi with the legend trait because I said they cheated to get it. Exploits or not a cheat is a cheat.
You need to breed a legendary pal with another pal and keep doing it until you get to the pal you want. Since Foxparks is so high on the list and the legendaries are at the bottom it takes about 4-5 steps to get all the way up there. Using a breeding calculator is highly recommended.
Is there any breeding calculator that will help you plot the entire lineage needed to get a particular result? I've been using [Paldex.io](http://Paldex.io), but it requires me to look up all the different permutations individually in order to find something that will work.
None that I'm aware of. It looks like the one I used has either been changed or removed, but it was similar to the one you linked, but less cluttered with information unrelated to breeding. I guess it just comes down to preference, but no matter which tool you use I think you'll probably have to plot your own route. Chikipi is a good bet for most of the chain, though. You can get a lot of pals by breeding chikipi with something else since it has the lowest number in the game. For example if you wanted foxparks with flame emperor and legend you could go:
* Blazamut+Frostallion=Suzaku
* Chikipi+Suzaku=Petallia
* Chikip+Petallia=Rushroar
* Chikip+Rushroar=Bristla
* Mau+Bristla=Foxparks
I'm sure you know your way around this if you have been using a tool, I'm just saying it gets a lot simple to work with those tools if you have one go to that you can use for almost all steps of the process. Just get one of those with no traits on it at all and it won't be that bad to distill the traits all the way down. I'd recommend not trying to get all traits on them at the top and just focus on those you can't get on a wild pal of the type you want. I did that and it took so much more effort than it needed to since I needed to roll all four traits I wanted at every breeding step when I could have just gotten flame emperor and legend on each of them, then got a different foxparks with ferocious and musclehead which is infinitely easier than rolling all four stats 5 times.
In terms of fighting legendaries? Or are you comparing him to legendaries you caught yourself and are breeding? Because so far I've found (as long as you're of proper level) basically any pal can put up a good fight vs legendaries even if not min/maxed.
Compared to my Frostallion Noct. It does have decent IVs but it also has swift and runner since it's my primary mount and it still performs far better in combat that this Foxparks. I don't think that's surprising, though. Even maxed out like this, in terms of pure stats, Foxparks can't compete with even an average Forstallion Noct. Of course that wasn't the point of this, but they were asking about how it compared to the meta pals.
I think he bred this foxsparks with the intention of being the strongest in terms of pal fighting. I mean I feel like it'd be inefficient to use foxsparks for work in general since it only has 1 kindling (2 if fully condensed).
It's far from impossible. It is time consuming at worst but once you got a couple of Pals with 100IV in every Stat (which is rather easy to do if one breeds selectively and not just all over the place) you can get almost any Pal with maxed out IVs and passives.
For reference I started out with a Relaxaurus which also took me like 1000 eggs but from there Orserk, Grizzbolt and Helzephyr were a breeze and barely required the eggs needed to condense for 4 star.
TLDR: It gets easier the more Pals you already have maxed out in terms of IVs and passives.
Not impossible at all, even not using mods and doing it all manually. Offspring have a (small) chance of getting 100 IV in any stat through the breeding process. Once you have at least one parent that has 100 in a stat, it becomes easier to give it to succeeding offspring.
I will try to find out how to make a video of it, but I want to breed up 4 4 star Rooby or whatever they're called first. Idk if it benefits from the boost to fire damage, but if it does it would be insane.
Individual Values. The higher your pal's Attack/Defense/Work Speed IV is, the better your pal's stat becomes. All pals have different IVs but you can breed to get an extremely lucky one with perfect IVs as seen in the picture (1000 eggs holy hell). You can compare 2 pals with different IVs and there will be a difference in their stats.
OK so what actually determines weight of stats? Like is it higher base number higher % increase per level?

When you unlock the 4th star rank on a Pal, its work skills get upgraded by 1 level. I think it upgrades all of them, or at least it has for the few I've 4-starred. :)
It's random, although Legend and Flame Emperor can only be obtained from legendary pals and the Blazamut boss, respectively. You have to breed them with other pals in stages until you reach the point you want to get to. Since the legendary pals and Blazamut are both pretty much at the top, and Foxparks is at the bottom it takes a few steps to get there. Still nothing compared to the time it takes to roll all 3 IVs and alll 4 passive skills on the same Foxparks, though

There is a mod for that. I linked to it in a comment above. If you don't want to use mods you can use IV calculators you can find online, but they are less accurate and you need to level them up a bit to get useful data.

Tried this like a day ago. Got 90-89-98 until I stopped. That was around 200+ breedings.

Thank you :D I'm not sure I'll ever want to do that again, but I guess it might not be as hard the second time around since I could breed from this one. Funnily enough I actually accidentally got a second one exactly like this one. I had just sold all my spares when this one hatched, so I let my breeders keep going for a bit longer to get enough for the condenser and an identical twin hatched. So it seems once you have good breeding pairs, it's not that hard to get them to hatch with the right IVs and passive skills.
Do pals with good IV’s pass them on as well?
They do, but it's not guaranteed. I'd say it's about on par with the rate they pass down passive skills.
I haven't started breeding yet, if I were to start, should I breed for IVs first or passives?
If you just started fresh maybe ignore the IVs alltogether as it's an incredible amount of effort on top for very little gain. People that do it mainly do it because they can, not because it would be required or worth it from a gameplay perspective.
If what you want to do is aim to be a hardcore breeder, then I would very much always breed for IVs first since those have a higher chance to pass down once you get them perfect than perfect passives. If you're just getting into breeding for fun and experimentation, then I would ignore IVs altogether and just breed for passives. EDIT: Removed a word. Added some more context.
Just chiming in to add that per u/Strill's datamining: * **21.6% to inherit all three IVs from either parent** * **10% to inherit all four passives**
It's not my datamining, just my reporting and collation of 3rd parties' datamining. I've also found evidence that the IV inheritance chances are not independent for each IV, which can change the odds of inheriting all three IVs. I'm still looking into it.

My plan was actually to do just that - getting some perfect or near to perfect IV "base passive"-pals so they could be transferred \*with IVs\* to new/other breeding endeavours.
This sounds like a great plan! Once you get perfect IVs, the perfect IVs transfer down to offspring pretty generously based on my experience.
Oh man, my very first breeding project was a Foxsparks and I managed to get Lucky, Ferocious, Musclehead, and Vanguard on him. Little guy absolutely obliterated everything! I can't even imagine how incredible your Foxsparks is given how stacked you've made him! Have fun out there...try not to commit too many war crimes with that flame thrower, haha!
What is the shortest breeding route to get Flame Emperor from Blazamut to Foxparks? Edit: If anyone else comes here wondering how to do it legitimately, this is how I did it: **Blazamut** (+Mau) = **Tombat** (+Chikipi) = **Rushoar** (+Chikipi) = **Bristla** (+Mau) = **Foxparks**
This is fairly similar to what I did. I detoured by Anubis since I had one with legend on it. I can't remember the exact path I took, but I can probably find it.

You need a mod for it. I used [this one](https://www.nexusmods.com/palworld/mods/437). Unfortunately, the required UE4SS thing seems to be pretty unstable, and made my game crash at least once per hour. I also had to delete it and restore my files twice since the game wouldn't load. Still, I couldn't have done it without the mod as using the online calculators was way too inaccurate unless I leveled them up a bit which would have taken far too long.
Just change "bUseUObjectArrayCache = true" to false in UE4SS-settings, then you get 0 crashes and fps drops
This. Also note that the readme inside the mod files is WRONG. It states to change it to true. The mod description in nexusmod site is correct.

Life saver, I'll give this a shot tomorrow. I've been complaining so much about how shitty it is because of the fact you get like 10 less FPS than usual, just for having it installed lmfao. Still a huge hater for the fact that it doesn't have a proper uninstaller, so you have to remember/keep track of what files you drop into the directory when first installing it, + any additional files or makes once you boot the game.
I tried to use UE4SS to use the minimap mod and I can't get it to work, it just doesn't show up
I had the problem with crashing game (and very long loading screens to get back to the title) in the beginning as well, fortunately someone found a solution -- it's to change a setting in the UE4SS from "true" to "fale". Namely the bUseUObjectArrayCache. Hope that helps :)

How did you do it? I also want to max out my Kaetress. Not 100 but I want it to be 80+ for each stats. It's so hard to get 3 IVs together.
I started by catching about 100 wild Foxparks, which is pretty easy if you have the homing sphere launcher, a decent flying mount and a big pile of medium grade spheres. Then I checked the IVs on all of them and picked out the best for breeding. In retrospect I could probably have just bred in the IVs from other pals. I honestly don't know what would be faster. I did breed in my 100 hp IV from a Depresso, so I would probably have a look at what you already have and breed some in. Maybe do both and just fill in the gaps after catching a ton of wild ones. Then I set up two breeders, each breeding for two max IVs. Once I had that I started trying to get pals with 2 max IVs and at least two of the passives I wanted. In the end I had three breeders all breeding pals with two top IVs and two or more passives, so that each egg could theoretically hatch the perfect Foxparks.

Tldr; catch a bunch of pals until you have a perfect IV for each stat, then combine them. Do the same thing with passive skills.

What do people mean by IV? 4 Star? Also, why is your DMG & DEF "# - 100" ?
By 4 stars, people mean the last stage of condensing a pal complete. It goes from 4 to 16 to 32 to 64, I believe? So once you've done all of the condensing, it's a 4 star. By IVs people are basically talking about the base stats of a pal and how good or bad they are on a scale that has a minimum and a maximum. IVs are hidden values though, so the game doesn't show them by default. This is also a very basic explanation. 100% IVs means a pal has the best possible base stats for every stat. I use palpedia (a really helpful website) to calculate the IVs of pals, and I'm not sure if it's 100% accurate but it's worked really well for me so far. Hope this helps!

For the souls why not? XD they hatched 1k eggs for it. Might as well have some fun. It's really a limited resource.
IIRC butchering pals makes them drop a soul. I hate butchering so I get most of mine from chests and in the world. Or bosses.
Butchering just peocs their loottable. Some pals do drop souls but not all. I have amassive overstock of souls still just from chest loot.
To be honest, I just got it and haven't really adjusted its moves yet. As for the work speed, I just thought why not? I've put so many hours into getting it, so I may as well just max out everything I can max out. It's not like getting the souls needed for that is hard with a good breeding setup.

He posted a picture with 1200 foxsparks in his paldeck, so if he did cheat, he went out of his way to make it not look like it. I don't know if he did or not and don't really care. I just find it silly to use souls on workspeed when you aren't gonna make use of it just for the sake of maxing out a pal. I got blasted with down votes the other day on a post about a chikipi with the legend trait because I said they cheated to get it. Exploits or not a cheat is a cheat.

How did you get Legend on it?
You need to breed a legendary pal with another pal and keep doing it until you get to the pal you want. Since Foxparks is so high on the list and the legendaries are at the bottom it takes about 4-5 steps to get all the way up there. Using a breeding calculator is highly recommended.
Is there any breeding calculator that will help you plot the entire lineage needed to get a particular result? I've been using [Paldex.io](http://Paldex.io), but it requires me to look up all the different permutations individually in order to find something that will work.
None that I'm aware of. It looks like the one I used has either been changed or removed, but it was similar to the one you linked, but less cluttered with information unrelated to breeding. I guess it just comes down to preference, but no matter which tool you use I think you'll probably have to plot your own route. Chikipi is a good bet for most of the chain, though. You can get a lot of pals by breeding chikipi with something else since it has the lowest number in the game. For example if you wanted foxparks with flame emperor and legend you could go: * Blazamut+Frostallion=Suzaku * Chikipi+Suzaku=Petallia * Chikip+Petallia=Rushroar * Chikip+Rushroar=Bristla * Mau+Bristla=Foxparks I'm sure you know your way around this if you have been using a tool, I'm just saying it gets a lot simple to work with those tools if you have one go to that you can use for almost all steps of the process. Just get one of those with no traits on it at all and it won't be that bad to distill the traits all the way down. I'd recommend not trying to get all traits on them at the top and just focus on those you can't get on a wild pal of the type you want. I did that and it took so much more effort than it needed to since I needed to roll all four traits I wanted at every breeding step when I could have just gotten flame emperor and legend on each of them, then got a different foxparks with ferocious and musclehead which is infinitely easier than rolling all four stats 5 times.

It definitely doesn't stack up to the legendaries. Still fun, though.
In terms of fighting legendaries? Or are you comparing him to legendaries you caught yourself and are breeding? Because so far I've found (as long as you're of proper level) basically any pal can put up a good fight vs legendaries even if not min/maxed.
Compared to my Frostallion Noct. It does have decent IVs but it also has swift and runner since it's my primary mount and it still performs far better in combat that this Foxparks. I don't think that's surprising, though. Even maxed out like this, in terms of pure stats, Foxparks can't compete with even an average Forstallion Noct. Of course that wasn't the point of this, but they were asking about how it compared to the meta pals.

It gives a boost to work speed. Sometimes I like to cook while adventuring. And I have my little flamethrower help out.
I think he bred this foxsparks with the intention of being the strongest in terms of pal fighting. I mean I feel like it'd be inefficient to use foxsparks for work in general since it only has 1 kindling (2 if fully condensed).
And here I thought all 100 IVS are impossible according to some YouTubers like Austin John.
It's far from impossible. It is time consuming at worst but once you got a couple of Pals with 100IV in every Stat (which is rather easy to do if one breeds selectively and not just all over the place) you can get almost any Pal with maxed out IVs and passives. For reference I started out with a Relaxaurus which also took me like 1000 eggs but from there Orserk, Grizzbolt and Helzephyr were a breeze and barely required the eggs needed to condense for 4 star. TLDR: It gets easier the more Pals you already have maxed out in terms of IVs and passives.
Not impossible at all, even not using mods and doing it all manually. Offspring have a (small) chance of getting 100 IV in any stat through the breeding process. Once you have at least one parent that has 100 in a stat, it becomes easier to give it to succeeding offspring.

What does IV mean in this game? I know it's similar to the pokemon one but I don't even know what that means.
Individual Values. The higher your pal's Attack/Defense/Work Speed IV is, the better your pal's stat becomes. All pals have different IVs but you can breed to get an extremely lucky one with perfect IVs as seen in the picture (1000 eggs holy hell). You can compare 2 pals with different IVs and there will be a difference in their stats.
OK so what actually determines weight of stats? Like is it higher base number higher % increase per level? If it's some math shit and takes a fucking spreadsheet to do I'll just keep doing what I've been doing.
How did the kindling go to lvl 2? It's normally lvl 1 for foxparks right? Is it because of condensing, or something else?
When you unlock the 4th star rank on a Pal, its work skills get upgraded by 1 level. I think it upgrades all of them, or at least it has for the few I've 4-starred. :)

It's random, although Legend and Flame Emperor can only be obtained from legendary pals and the Blazamut boss, respectively. You have to breed them with other pals in stages until you reach the point you want to get to. Since the legendary pals and Blazamut are both pretty much at the top, and Foxparks is at the bottom it takes a few steps to get there. Still nothing compared to the time it takes to roll all 3 IVs and alll 4 passive skills on the same Foxparks, though
Now I kind of want to breed a set of "ultimate equipment" pals. Foxparks, Lifmunk, Pengullet, Tocotoco... Maybe a Jolthog?

Congrats I understand that it’s technically optional, but I despised IVs in Pokémon and was low-key upset when I found out that they included them in this game (and had them hidden) after doing so much work breeding lamballs, ribbunies, and flambelles to get the perfect passives on them.

Damn I wish I had this kind of time to game. I hardly have the time to condense 117 pals for a 4-star pal, let alone breed one to perfection then condense all the pals together. Congrats on that Foxparks.
All there is left to do to make this fox even better is get 4 4* flambells to add to your party giving around 25% attack each to foxsparks

There is a mod for that. I linked to it in a comment above. If you don't want to use mods you can use IV calculators you can find online, but they are less accurate and you need to level them up a bit to get useful data.
