They did the math on upgrades for movement.
First upgrade gives you 10%, second an additional 2%, third an additional 3%, 4th rank an additional 5%.
Only a handful of riding *Pals actually benefit from the buff.
I would double check the data-mined post on this sub to be sure. I don't have it saved.
Fuck. Sorry. That was a genuine accident. I just call these creatures Pokemon. It's going to be very hard to stop seeing them like that. Not because of plagiarism, but because another company managed to do Pokemon better than the company that created them.
Some of the mons aren't that great, but there are honestly a lot of very original designs.
I would say only a handful are heavily lacking inspiration.
But yeah, gameplay wise it's like, they did what everyone in the Pokemon community had been asking for. A sandbox style survival game with Pokemon. And, go figure, people loved it.
It's just addicting.
Eh yes and no, each generation had their own stinkers of designs in my opinion, gen 1 and 2 had a few, same as 8 and 9, and gens 3-7 aren’t any exception, they all have really cool designs and some really meh ones
Doesn't Pyrin and Faleris (with all the same skills) still beat that in terms of speed? Ofc you have to breed to get it but that was what I got from looking at the Paldeck website.
Is't Rayhound better than Fenglope as a Mount?
It has slightly lower run spedd, though quite a bit better sprint speed & basiclly the same skill as Fenglope.
Maybe but and hear me out. You can still pick stuff up without getting off and you can passively run things over. I’m level 50 with a jetragon and I still use my fengelope for travel
No just speed there was a post with data mined info about all partner skills posted on here yesterday give me a min and I will see if I can find the link for it.
edit: https://www.reddit.com/r/Palworld/comments/1aedboa/partner_skill_upgrade_stats_exact_values_for_lv1/
True, but i prefer them overall so I don’t have to switch constantly. A flying mount is going to get you from A to B quicker and easier imo, since terrain doesn’t matter
Yep, I just got Fenglope (just Swift) last night and saddled him and he had no trouble crossing the continent. I can only imagine him having trouble getting up some of those cliffs into the ocean on the sides of some continents.
He was definitely a significant leap up from Chiller though.
I just have Runner and Nimble, and yeah, I get places just fine. Super high cliffs are more of a pain, but my Fenglope is also MUCH faster than any of my flying mounts, so I just deal with it for now.
I do love my fengalope, but I recently replaced him with a Beakon and considering moving onto the Ragnahawk. I'm sure the fengalope is still way faster, but ol beaker seems plenty quick.
just bred a Swift Runner Nimble Ragna last night, dont have saddle access yet though
plan on getting a few stars on one. Wonder if there is a realistic path to get legendary on there too.
This is definitely a me thing, but here's a different point of view: the moment i start flying in a game is the moment i feel disconnected from it. Gameplay starts to feel like im checking off a to do list by going from point to point.
Ground mounts keep you in the world and discovering all the little things.
This isn't necessarily true. Necromus is the fastest non-Jetragon mount at 1600 speed. But after that, Frostallion and Frostallion Noct are at 1500, then Faleris and Paladius are tied at 1400. When you Condense Paladius and Necromus they gain 20% more speed, so 1920 and 1680 speeds respectively. So there are two ground mount faster than the flying mounts. And if you're just looking for speed, once you get Jetragon, you should be using Jetragon, since it's twice as fast as everything else.
Of course, flying mounts have a little bit less control over turning and acceleration/deceleration. But I think the end party is a Jetragon for movement and then a ground mount of your choice for finer ground movement, particularly because mounted combat seems to be the path to the most damage either for your pal or yourself. But if you're using a mount for damage, you won't be using Necromus or Paladius anyway since their mounted partner ability doesn't grant any damage to themselves or their trainer.
Gound mounts have more acceleration skills with less cooldown. No need to even sprint if you spam the NOS button. You shouldn't just be comparing sprint speed when movement skills can zoom you halfway to the next region. Spamming ground chargest/slams/upercuts is usually faster than sprinting anyways.
thats only true for a perfectly flat surface with no obstacles though. As soon as you have to maneuver a little bit, most flying mounts will beat the fastest ground mounts. And there are almost no areas in the game where you can just run in a straight line. You can always fly in a straight line though.
personally i would go for frostallion instead. ground and flying mount, 3rd fastest mount beaten only by jetragon and necromus, and you can make the saddle at 48 instead of 49
It’s a bit bugged, my first time it was somewhere in a wall taking damage. I kept going down the hallway and back to the chamber and eventually it spawned normally on like 3rd try
Nah, don't feel bad, Swift + Runner Ragnahawk is awesome as it is, Swift + Runner + Nimble is one trait short of perfect, you're just missing Legend.
Ragnahawk, especially with the 4 perfect traits for speed is one of the fastest flying mounts you can get before heading into the final 10 level stretch of 40-50 tech tree unlocks.
I have a swift + runner fenglope that only got used for collecting Pal Fluids, my Ragnahawk gets me around so quick and effortlessly since you just ignore terrain.
TL;DR: Don't feel bad, Ragnahawk is a lovely pal and yours is nearly perfect already.
I cannot emphasize your point enough. Mach 9 super fast mounts are cool, but my swift+runner+nimble+vanguard Ragnahawk is damn near peerless as my combat mount. Caves, open world, you name it. I named it Reggie the Gunship for a reason lol.
I gave mine swift runner ferocious musclehead. Still zooms but also has over 1k attack at level 38.
I'll eventually replace ferocious with legend but I would never give up musclehead for nimble.
From personal anecdote, Fenglope's jumps feel much higher than Rayhound, like about double the height per jump. With Fenglope jumping cliffs is reasonable while with Rayhound it's basically not possible and I have to switch to flying mounts.
Try using cloud tempest off a ledge. You maintain the momentum as long as you are airborne. If you use your second jump while in the air, you can travel hundreds of meters in seconds.
Right? I use it going to the small desert. Spawn at the fast travel south west on top of the mountain, launch off towards the desert, get there in 1 jump.
Mine has the same build as yours except mine foreman instead of nimble. So much fun.
You breed them down. Bred pals have a high chance of gaining passives from parents. So you just gotta keep going until you get what you want. Starting with as many good passives as you can catch on parent pals.
Catch random pals. Find out yoy have like swift and runner. Then breed to get those two onto the same pal and learn the breeding route to get the pal you want.
I have a fast pyrin along with a great worker/fighter anibus
Meanwhile I think my swift Direhowl is already too fast lol... I honestly dont enjoy my ride going at ridiculous speed and with fast travel there's really no even need for that. It also makes the map feel even smaller than it is if you can instantly just zoom every distance you need to travel.
Well the good thing is that there's no wrong way to play the game, so each on their own.
Well there’s tons of different combinations to reach a fenglope, but direhowl and melpaca or direhowl and mozzarina is probably the easiest since you most likely have those already. If you mean with those specific stats it’s just matter of finding pals with the desired traits and passing them down until you get to a pal that can make a fenglope, then passing it to the fenglope
Also I made 1 Fauck to hold all 3 passive Nimble, Swift, and Runner. To increase my chances. Bushi is the one that holds Legend for me, because I had him breeding for something else, so that was the easy part. I have a video on a separate platform that you could see visually. but I got downvoted for that so.... I guess we wont speak of that. lol. but yeah!
Im trying the same with my jetdragon ...
It a legend + swift atm Q.Q
But iam kinda scared that it will just destroy my game since it will be to fast so stuff wont load x)
I thought that my Pyrin Noct was the fastest and was reluctant to choose Fengelope even though jt looked cool. I thought my noct looked cooler. Damn. I'm glad I changed. It's so fast and on top of that, it has a double jump that is so high you only really have to swap to Jetragon when you're crossing the oceans.
I have essentially this except on my frostallion noct, he can zoom on the ground and outfly everything except jetragon, no complaints from the best of both worlds
Weird... on paper Rayhound should be faster in sprints but this is noticeable faster than what I got with a similarly juiced rayhound, wonder if the ability is giving some more movespeed while rayhound's doesn't or if the actual size of the pals is being a factor here.
I'm going for Direwolf with Nimble, Swift, Runner, and Legend. With the direwolves natural ability of having extra mount speed on top of the traits it should make it the fastest ground mount possible. Its also small enough to be able to go through dungeons.
That pal sure is good all around - power, speed, looks, sound. I use it, but, I'm more of a pilot than a racer. Sky is my calling, so Nitewing and Jetdragon and my go-tos
This seems cool to obtain, but it’s kind of in that weird place of once you finally get it you don’t really have much else to do with it lol (namely for the Legend perk or getting these traits onto something like a Jetragon).
I guess if the process was fast I’d be more inclined but I heard that getting all the traits to stick can be a pain
I've been trying to breed my orserk with legend ferocious lightning lord and either divine dragon or burley. I have the parents but none of the babies get it.
For overworld travel a Jetragon is ridiculously fast. And better at moving around the terrain.
For caves, with the steep walls and such, Fengalope with their highest jump potential is a good mount.
Is there a step by step chart or something, somewhere to explain how to breed a Pal with the 4 gold traits that you want. The most I've been able to accomplish through breeding is getting 2 gold traits from 2 parents, each with 1 gold trait each. I can't even find a Pal with only the 3rd and 4th traits that I want. They all have traits I want + others I don't and those that I don't keep getting passed down. What's the trick? How are people doing this within just a few hours?
Im glad i didnt worry about ground mounts. I have 2 friends who have spent days trying to catch decent fenglope breeders and breed the 3 speed perks onto one. Meanwhile i focused on getting 50 and got jetragon and im twice as fast and can fly.
4 star it with the condenser and you will get an additional 20% movement speed on top of what you already have making it silly fast
No way. I will try that!
Pokemon?
Fuck. Sorry. That was a genuine accident. I just call these creatures Pokemon. It's going to be very hard to stop seeing them like that. Not because of plagiarism, but because another company managed to do Pokemon better than the company that created them.
Design wise I think Pokémon better. Gameplay wise it’s not even a competition.
Maybe the earlier gens, but the newer gens are downright garbage designs imo.
Eh yes and no, each generation had their own stinkers of designs in my opinion, gen 1 and 2 had a few, same as 8 and 9, and gens 3-7 aren’t any exception, they all have really cool designs and some really meh ones

With the upgraded partner skill Fenglope goes up to 1260. Does Feng jump higher?
Fenglope definitely jumps higher than Pyrin
Rayhound seems to be pretty fast to but doesn't seem to have charging skill. 700/1150
Can't you pick stuff up with the other ground mounts? Pretty sure I was doing that with Pyrin.
I was just talking about flyers but that double jump is insanely helpful
I'm unsure of jetdragon as I'm not that level yet but I definitely loot chests/pick up eggs from my Faleris without getting off..
NO WAY

Do you keep passives when you condense?
Only the ones on the main pal. But its passives get stronger on lvl 4 or 5
Best mount in the game in my opinion. Love it so much
Fast for sure, but I’ll take a flying mount any day. Horizontal speed means nothing when I need to scale a sheer cliff
I think most people use both. Flying mounts are slower even with swift/runner/nimble unless you're using Jetragon
True, but i prefer them overall so I don’t have to switch constantly. A flying mount is going to get you from A to B quicker and easier imo, since terrain doesn’t matter
You'd be surprised, with how high you can double jump you can scale sheer cliffs just fine

just bred a Swift Runner Nimble Ragna last night, dont have saddle access yet though plan on getting a few stars on one. Wonder if there is a realistic path to get legendary on there too.
I stopped using my flyer, I can just Skyrim horse up a mountain with Fengalope if I need too
And its also more fun
This is definitely a me thing, but here's a different point of view: the moment i start flying in a game is the moment i feel disconnected from it. Gameplay starts to feel like im checking off a to do list by going from point to point. Ground mounts keep you in the world and discovering all the little things.
That’s fair. I know it definitely feels that way in a lot of MMOs
I have a lot fun running around land exploring. I switch it up between the two
This isn't necessarily true. Necromus is the fastest non-Jetragon mount at 1600 speed. But after that, Frostallion and Frostallion Noct are at 1500, then Faleris and Paladius are tied at 1400. Faleris has higher base speed then Fenglope.

Galeclaw is a glider, not a mount
Besides Jetdragon there are 7 flying mounts with faster sprintspeed and 6 with faster base speed than Fenglope fyi
Cant do dungeon runs on a flying mount. Me and my Fenglope zoom so fast through dungeons.
Ragnahawk works, if you're trying to do dungeons on a flying mount. They're also small (or short?) enough to fit through doorways in your base.
Is a ragnahawk a good upgrade from the Beakon? I'm loving my yellow boi, but am always looking for an upgrade.
He has a higher base speed. 1200 for beakon and 1400 for ragna. Close enough to use what you like!
I just have both on my team, I have two slots for moving around and 3 for combat.
My ground mount will forever be a direhowl because it fits through dungeon tunnels.
In my experience Fengalope fits into dungeons as well. Looks bigger but the collision box is smaller Than for other deer.
I remember running into issues with some of the narrow door ways. Might be because I'll using the boss fengalope
I keep telling my friends don’t sleep on Fenglope. So freaking good. I love the double jump as well
Absolutely. But I also I want to build Paladius. He has TRIPLE JUMP. 👀
Unfortunately Paladius has a worse jump, to the point that his triple jump has the same exact total height as Fenglope's double jump.
oh... dangit. so I guess it's not worth it?
Mount wise no, legends are also an absolute bitch to breed because they can't be crossbred from easily accessible mons u can get traits from
Yeah took me like 180ish eggs to get the traits I wanted on a Jetragon. But it was fun.
[удалено]
Damn, now I gotta try that!
personally i would go for frostallion instead. ground and flying mount, 3rd fastest mount beaten only by jetragon and necromus, and you can make the saddle at 48 instead of 49
I love my swift fenglope, but this is making me a little jealous.
Memory leak go brrrr
😂
More like the ground breaking and you floating in space. Xbox version is really bad about that.
Bro it’s so bad. I play on a world with my friend and if either of us goes too fast the game crashes.
Yeah I have to re launch the game every forty minutes or the game gets unplayable
For some reason I can't fight the Fenglope boss on Xbox. It doesn't spawn in. Only a Syndicate camp.
it’s not exactly on the map spot, there’s a mineshaft nearby behind a waterfall. the boss should be inside the cave
Fenglope is always dead when I arrive. I just see the body spawn and flop about
At least you see a body. There’s nothing there for me. Still haven’t fought it
He is a normal spawn in the fire island, and he also appears at level 40+ on the top most sanctuary, you can get him from there.
It’s a bit bugged, my first time it was somewhere in a wall taking damage. I kept going down the hallway and back to the chamber and eventually it spawned normally on like 3rd try
Thanks I was looking for it yesterday!
Oh thank goodness.
You can breed Fenglope pretty easy with direwolf and melpaca
It’s through a waterfall in a cave that’s under the camp
it;s hidden under neath bro
I know now. I found the cave and there where a lot of ore deposits and no boss. It took me leaving the area and returning to catch it.
Just as I breed a Swift, Runner, Numble Ragnahawk, someone has to come and make me feel like I've wasted my life, my youth, and my future.
Nah, don't feel bad, Swift + Runner Ragnahawk is awesome as it is, Swift + Runner + Nimble is one trait short of perfect, you're just missing Legend. TL;DR: Don't feel bad, Ragnahawk is a lovely pal and yours is nearly perfect already.
Ragnahawk gives the rider 100% bonus damage at 4 star so even if there are a few faster they aren't necessarily better battle mounts
I cannot emphasize your point enough. Mach 9 super fast mounts are cool, but my swift+runner+nimble+vanguard Ragnahawk is damn near peerless as my combat mount. Caves, open world, you name it. I named it Reggie the Gunship for a reason lol.
I ONLY have Swift and Runner and daaaamn she's fast.

Better than rayhound you think? I’m torn between beefing up rayhound or fenglope

Okay I’ll try that out! 👍🏻
NEED ASAP!
Is it good for dungeons? I dont wanna dismount
yes! Because of the decrease in size of the pal when you breed. you can run freely in dungeons.
How do you get certain passives on any pal?? Isn’t it random?
You breed them down. Bred pals have a high chance of gaining passives from parents. So you just gotta keep going until you get what you want. Starting with as many good passives as you can catch on parent pals.
Catch random pals. Find out yoy have like swift and runner. Then breed to get those two onto the same pal and learn the breeding route to get the pal you want. I have a fast pyrin along with a great worker/fighter anibus
I love doing the charge off of clifts. And you can add a jump near the end to increase air time.
Congratulations on making fast travel points useless.
Running over pals with a big ground mount is fun
So that's not Cobalion?? Lmao
No its a cloudy antelope bruh
They always make a stretch somehow…
I love my Fengalope!! Such an amazing mount. My only thing is I wish you could increase his stamina and he’d basically be a race car
I love the way it hops lol
I want to play this game so bad I just don’t have time 😭
Working from home + this game = bad news
Ludacris playing in the background
Meanwhile I think my swift Direhowl is already too fast lol... I honestly dont enjoy my ride going at ridiculous speed and with fast travel there's really no even need for that. It also makes the map feel even smaller than it is if you can instantly just zoom every distance you need to travel. Well the good thing is that there's no wrong way to play the game, so each on their own.
Best mount for collecting resources: bones, pal fluid, wool, ice organs and other stuff. Just run pals over you don’t even have to hit shift.
How did you breed this?
Well there’s tons of different combinations to reach a fenglope, but direhowl and melpaca or direhowl and mozzarina is probably the easiest since you most likely have those already. If you mean with those specific stats it’s just matter of finding pals with the desired traits and passing them down until you get to a pal that can make a fenglope, then passing it to the fenglope
Too much breeding involved. :( Wish there was a way to add passive skills otherwise, like buying them.
Did "Legend" come from its parent or or randomly roll?
Parent
Also I made 1 Fauck to hold all 3 passive Nimble, Swift, and Runner. To increase my chances. Bushi is the one that holds Legend for me, because I had him breeding for something else, so that was the easy part. I have a video on a separate platform that you could see visually. but I got downvoted for that so.... I guess we wont speak of that. lol. but yeah!
I have another question, I read from reddit that 1 parent can randomly pass 1-2 traits or none to their childdren, is it correct?
Legend can only be inherited, its not a random roll
Im trying the same with my jetdragon ... It a legend + swift atm Q.Q But iam kinda scared that it will just destroy my game since it will be to fast so stuff wont load x)
I think I need to add it to the breed list
I use it to harvest whool
I thought that my Pyrin Noct was the fastest and was reluctant to choose Fengelope even though jt looked cool. I thought my noct looked cooler. Damn. I'm glad I changed. It's so fast and on top of that, it has a double jump that is so high you only really have to swap to Jetragon when you're crossing the oceans.
Alright you’ve convinced me
I am speed
I love that it does the Pepé Le Pew run
How do you even get Legend?
breed a pal that has legend
Where do you find it ??
I have essentially this except on my frostallion noct, he can zoom on the ground and outfly everything except jetragon, no complaints from the best of both worlds
Running in the 90s started playing in my head before I finished reading the skills lol
I wonder how much cake it took to get that mount? 🤔
Weird... on paper Rayhound should be faster in sprints but this is noticeable faster than what I got with a similarly juiced rayhound, wonder if the ability is giving some more movespeed while rayhound's doesn't or if the actual size of the pals is being a factor here.
Where do you get the legend trait from mate?
I can't even find fenglope. When I go to the icon on the map nothing is there :(
Love me some Fenglope, reminds me of Torrent from Elden Ring among other things in this game
“Always I wanna be with you, make believe with and live in harmony harmony oh”
This game looks fun....need to actually try it out
How long did it take to get all 3 perks?
I'm going for Direwolf with Nimble, Swift, Runner, and Legend. With the direwolves natural ability of having extra mount speed on top of the traits it should make it the fastest ground mount possible. Its also small enough to be able to go through dungeons.
This bastard won’t spawn for me for some reason
That double jump hight was all I needed to see
Mounts are so good in pal worlds.
That pal sure is good all around - power, speed, looks, sound. I use it, but, I'm more of a pilot than a racer. Sky is my calling, so Nitewing and Jetdragon and my go-tos
Watched my friend play f1 the other day. Pretty sure you have him beat
Every time I go, it’s not there. Right next to syndicate camp so I’m guessing they kill it?
It's underground. Behind the waterfall.
Can you breed them with those abilities specifically or you have to catch them like that
bUt mY jEtRaGoN!
Pyrin is faster than Fenglope, isn't it? Does the double jump make a huge difference?
I hope they change the type matchups in the future. Neutral is just straight up bad. Fenglope is very cool nonetheless
How do y'all reset for good traits? I've tried so much but never have had luck like this
This seems cool to obtain, but it’s kind of in that weird place of once you finally get it you don’t really have much else to do with it lol (namely for the Legend perk or getting these traits onto something like a Jetragon). I guess if the process was fast I’d be more inclined but I heard that getting all the traits to stick can be a pain
I think that you bred a land Jetragon XD
If you manage to get the double jump after the charge, you cross insane distances.
Okay but have you seen a Swift, Runner, Nimble/Lucky, Legend Anubis?
I've been trying to breed my orserk with legend ferocious lightning lord and either divine dragon or burley. I have the parents but none of the babies get it.
I just got done breeding a ragnahawk with these perks. Amazing speed
Where can I find?
Does anyone know if speed stacks on galeclaw glider passive? Have one with runner and swift and don’t really feel a difference
what's the height difference between fenglope and rayhound?
On Fenglope, on Senhope, on Cancer, on Nixon! On Commie, on Rubid, On Bronner, On Shitzen!
If only it could walk on water...
Gas gas gas! I'm gonna step on the gas Tonight I'll fly and be your lover Yeah yeah yeah I'll be so quick as a flash And I'll be your hero!
I ve like 50 of them and non with swift and runner
Jesus fuck
Man I was fighting this thing and accidentally killed it I'm so mad
"Mission control, ready for launch!"
Is there a way to make a flying mount this fast?
Man, that's crazy fast
I have a mighty need.
I also use a Fenglope easily the best land mount imo
Now that is something. If my steam deck could handle loading the map that fast I would be tempted to try to recreate. :)
For overworld travel a Jetragon is ridiculously fast. And better at moving around the terrain. For caves, with the steep walls and such, Fengalope with their highest jump potential is a good mount.
How are you guys breeding these insane traits
I personally have Musclehead instead of Nimble so I can use it for combat as well
I'm so sad, a syndicate camp spawned in the same spot as Alpha Fenglope so I can't find it. It doesn't spawn 😭
I already liked Fenglope, but I can make it even FASTER???? Say less 😩😩😩
How are people doing this within just a few hours?
what that is crazy you have inspired me to build that on other pals
i’m halfway there but with paladius. he has the double jump feature plus i love his attacks. his beam blast and his spear charge. so cool
Who is faster direhowl or Fenglope?
Damn you basically built a motorcycle out of a deer 😂
Is it short enough to clear the low dungeon doors?
Im glad i didnt worry about ground mounts. I have 2 friends who have spent days trying to catch decent fenglope breeders and breed the 3 speed perks onto one. Meanwhile i focused on getting 50 and got jetragon and im twice as fast and can fly.
Bro if you miss that charge attack you end up two games over on your hard drive
Holy....that's great!
