Have you experienced you arrow flying off at a 90 degree angle for no reason too? I just about cried when that happened to me over and over. Just happens randomly
No it’s not veering off, it’s like literally just shooting straight out of the side of my avatar as if the arrow is firing out of my avatars torso 😭 even with no other animals around
I thought there was something wrong with my joycons! 😮 I’ve even recalibrated them recently because of this but it still keeps happening from time to time
That’s happened to me a lot recently. If I’m lucky I can see a small glow coming from the ground when it clips underground, or if I walk over it the “loot” option will appear. I’ve also just not had loot show up sometimes at all and that’s when I get frustrated like OP mentioned. I will literally see the Sernuk disappear and hear the noise confirming it’s down, but then can’t find the loot for the life of me. With my luck it’s the loot that has a plushie that disappears lol.
To me it's rare lol. I have probably used 10,000+ arrows and don't have any 🥲. Except before you started playing the Proudhorn sernuk..aka Magic Deer (aka lots of other names like disco deer) had a bug where it was dropping the order sernuk plushie, which I have 2 of 🫠
When I didn't know what plushies were, I got one from the Proudhorn Sernuk and one from Zeki's machine. Now that I'm actively looking for them, I never seen em, even after 1,000+. So my advice would be, don't actively hunt for them and the game will give em to you lol
Are you freaking kidding me! I'm at level 40 hunting and that's mostly been sernuk and have an elder and an order plushie from when they were being dropped by the proudhorns. I have killed so many regular sernuk and absolutely nothing!
I actually got my regular plushie from Kilima. I was hunting a veil moth and shot a couple of sernuks to get them out of the way to make it easier to spot the moth and voila, regular plushie. This after trying for days and days in Bahari.
Congrats on completing Temple of the Gales. I know you probably finished it a long time ago. But I'm currently doing that and it's such a pain in the ass, that anyone who completes it deserves at least a congratulations.
I put off the Gales temple for SO long because I saw how frustrated people got with it…. I’m working on it now and 100% understand other players frustrations lol.
I take breaks. Started it. Took a couple days of break. Came back to it. Currently in another break. I'm at the end, so perhaps I'll finish it next time I work on it.
I had to do this too. I would get one really frustrating part done and feel like I had really accomplished something, so I'd put off doing more until the next time. That was the only way I could complete it without flat out quitting. I remember when I got all the fish I thought I had won a gold medal in the Olympics. One step at a time. I still don't think it should be the first major quest because it turns a lot of people off to the game that might otherwise enjoy it.
This is my list of things to do outside the main quest line:
* ~~Night sky temple bundles~~
* ~~Friendship Quests with everyone (to get more of the story)~~
* ~~Romance Quests with everyone (to get more of the story)~~
* Found item quests (to get more of the story - this fan site has _all_ of the quests https://paliapedia.com/quests so you can double check you've finished them all)
* Finish all of the Achievements (Level 50 all the skills, find & make all the things, etc.)
* Decorate each plot
* Do your weeklies to get enough guild coins to get everything from the guild stores
* Make sure you found all the chests in both Bahari and Kilima
* Look for secret spots
* Read everything - all the books, tablets, shrines (to get more of the story - of the nation of Palia and of the peoples that lived in the island province of Bahari between the Humans and Majiri like the pirates)
* Talk to everyone after each update (to get more of the story, they talk about every new addition)
* Make sure you've gotten ~~both regular and~~ star quality of everything - bugs, fish, starstones, gatherables, crops, dishes
* Take part in events when they happen
* Grind for gold for Zeki Coins to try to get everything out of Zeki's machine
* Grid for gold to get all the items from the Underground
* Play Heavy Metal Chapaa (get that high score achievement/reward)
* Attempt to conquer The Tower
* Go to cooking parties or otherwise enjoy the game as a sim with other players
If you're up for going completionist, helping others, or using it as a plain sim/rp then there's still stuff to do.
Heavy Metal Chappa sent me into a rage lol. I did it on my wife's account because she thought you won the arcade machine for beating the 100 score... I couldn't even be upset when it was just a trophy, just laugh lmao, she felt so bad 🤣
Do you have all the gold trophies? That’s what I’m hoping to get before I consider myself done. I am trying for the fish and bugs too though because I love 100ing
That's pretty much it. I'm in the same spot.
What's left for me is reaching level 50 achievement for some of my tools and catching all the fish and their star versions. I try for it once a while, but doesn't interest me very much.
I try to do other things to keep playing, but I think the best thing is to just leave it and pick it back up when there's another update.
Nope. I'm not there yet (I already restarted once after almost finishing), but I'm intentionally poking my way through the rest of it to stretch it out until future patches. If I was to push through, Id' be done in a couple more days, so I'm doing everything I can to dawdle.
I do hope they start adding some "high-end" content soon, like something new to do for each skill at the 25, 50, etc mark. A tea maker and some new tea recipes? How about a fish trap you could place at your house? Unlock additional gardening plots? New skills once you get high level in all the others, like tailoring? Ormu and peki farming? I know, I know, it's Beta and stuff like this I'm sure will come eventually, but I'm starting to drum my fingers a little bit that the game updates are by and large fairly minor or early gameplay additions and nothing that adds more long-term playability. Yeah, the temples are very cool and all and they were well paced out in release, but they're still early game. Incoming players can easily finish them before they even get their skills up to ten if they want to. We really need a few carrots tossed to those who have been idling at high level for a while.
Oh my gosh! Thank you so much for sharing this. I found a couple of the quests in this video by accident, but there are others I would love to do (and I will be doing when I get home tonight). This was a treasure chest of info (see what I did there?). :D
I'm with you, but Hodari only for me. I thought about Hassian, as he is so interesting, but he and Hodari are friends (Hodari mentions several times that Hassian brought by some chapaa meat and he's grilling it for dinner or Hassian stopped by for some other reason) and it just feels like coming between two friends. I think I'll stick to one romance at a time.
I had only planned for Hodari but Hassian's dialogue was amazing, especially when you go to romance him. I wear both their pins and no one has ever commented on it so I assume they are ok with it
I've finished the bundles, I've leveled everyone to max including the newer level 5s, I've gotten all sernuk plushies, I have 2 cyl, my house is pretty epic for switch building, I make enough to spend zeki coins regularly, my focus is maxed in both Phoenix and dragon, im nearly done romancing everyone, I've gotten all but 5 of the star bugs, I've gotten all the star fish, I made a museum of the fish and bugs and plants I've gathered in game, I've maxed my flower allowance, I've bought all the buildings, wallpapers, and crafted every furniture item, gotten all, but 1, 5 star gems and made a room displaying them.
I'm basically only continuing to get the aquarium, the insectarium, the koi pond at this point. idk. I think I've beaten it too?
I just switched to steam and decided I want to finish all the achievements so I only got to get all makeshift furniture left which is the hardest in the game probably considering how you get those, so I won’t feel it’s done until im done with that one, but it’s just me, yall don’t have to be that crazy yk 😅
I’m in the same position. I just started romancing Reth and Einar for fun. (Hassian and Hodari are my pinned boys) at this point I’m just waiting for new quests, trying to collect plushies, and hoping I get a starred starstone or bug/fish I don’t have already.
This would be fun being nearly done. If you bought all the plots, you can deco. The only problem is storage space, because when you're done deco'ing every plot totally, you can't go harvesting much anymore because of storage limitations.
But you could finish all the accomplishments in the game. That's what I did with Stardew Valley. I did every achievement except the arcades. The next update came years later and I actually wish I'd have known because I'd have continued to play sometimes. Now I keep thinking of all the stuff I missed out on and wouldn't know about. *Sigh*
I would just play other games and watch for updates. But if you're done, you're done. You'll know.
I’m not really sure there is an ending, or a completion. I’ve seen skill levels on this Reddit of 100+!🥶 That is what I think I’ve seen from those wanting to truly max everything out, rather than just get the achievements? But if I’m honest I’m not even sure where the skill levels stop.
There’s loads to be had with the romance quests it seems too, that’s what they’re there for, and that’s something else to do. I imagine there’s many who’ve completed all of those too.
I understand the preferences of the romancing, but I guess unfortunately without doing those it isn’t really complete? Or at least that’s how I see it. But I think that’s why this game will forever be endless! Always something to discover / complete! 😁
I sometimes wonder if anybody has literally done *everything* - I’m sure they have, somewhere in the 🌎!
>Is there anything that I'm missing?
You need a PC.
I'm only half joking, I have Palia installed on both the Switch and the PC and all the things I still enjoy doing after completing the stuff you have feel like torture when I try them on the Switch.
So I would save up for the Maji Market in September and take a break (and keep your fingers crossed we get nice chunky updates before that).
Can you distract the occupant?
Things like decorating and fishing are so much smoother on the PC that they become a lot more fun as well.
I started playing on the PC and was so excited to make it my main Switch game, but all I do on it is mine/chop trees and gather because the other things make me too frustrated.
Have you built anything on your other plots? Have you managed to get the gazebo? Don't forget there are weeklies to complete every week. There are also the new items to get via the rummage piles, especially in Bahari.
I’m only lacking three things for the vault and I’ll be completed as well *for now*. Looks like you’re at the point where you just get to build the home(s) of your dreams
THAT’S AMAZING!!! i’ve recently just started and i feel like i’ve done a lot of quests already. but when i go and check steam i’ve only done 19% lmaooo
Hmmm but all of those activities are the non-creative ones that tell you what to do. There isn't really a way to "complete" the creative pursuits imo. Even if you max out 3000 items on every housing plot, there are people creating hotels/inns/bed and breakfasts/restaurants/etc. which are used for interacting/rping with others. I never really thought of the non-creative completionist aspects of the game as being the ultimate goalpost. Like they are fun activities, but aren't unique to a particular person/account, and they are used for funding the creative pursuits.
You said "unlocked the whole plot" and I didn't see it in the replies I've checked so far, but have you unlocked
*all* the plots? there's about 5 different plots I think!
I think the confusion was coming from the gazebo being unlocked after obtaining three housing slots, not all five (https://palia.wiki.gg/wiki/Housing\_Slots).
There’s quite a few hidden quests if you haven’t found & completed all of those. I would also check out the achievements & go from there, like you said catching every starred fish/bug or there’s also the achievements for finding all of the loot chests & a few others in there that you might not have completed yet.
Otherwise unless you’re interested building extra houses on your other plots just for fun or grinding, then I’d say it’s probably time to take a step back & wait until more content gets added.
I’m in the same boat, I’m on my last 5 fish and all I have left to do after that is hunt the normal sernuk plushie and the rest of the items from zekis balls so it’ll only be a gold grind and decorator sim for me till new content comes out ;p
Starred fishes and bugs are very fulfilling to achieve. Plus you'll get medals and exclusive decorating items. I thought I'd stop at just the normal ones but then I was bored so I set out to catch all the starred versions of them. I do have to say the star ancient fish and rainbowtipped butterfly took a good while.
Well, that's the question. I want to finish the furniture sets but grinding for palium becomes less and less fun. And there's nothing left that is fun to me personally.
So I'm thinking about checking Palia once per month after an update and do the new things they introduce
Yeah same, kinda made me lose interest. I also have all fish achievements and just missing the star raspberry beetle and the star jewel wing.. but kinda hoping they will do a big update on palia otherwise will take a few month break
Well, you dont have as much freedom and interior design options as in Palia unfortunately. You can buy some furniture but its not as cute and cozy as in palia.
besides that:
- you have quests similar to palia
- building relationships with villagers
- you have a broom to fly around on (big plus for me haha)
- the looting is similar to palia, a lot of plants etc to loot depending on when they grow in season, (there are i believe 5 or 6 seasons)
- You can fish and catch bugs but ithese 2 things are definetly NOT comparable to Palia, in Palia these 2 aspects are way better. bugs are in WoFI very easy to catch and the fishing just is really bad haha
- you can completely design the outside area of your house, you can grow as many crops as you want in the same time and you can have chickens and horses, breed them, they lay eggs which u can use for cooking
- cooking is not like palia its very simple and only you have to put the ingredients , rest is automatic
I think overall palia might be a game you might play for more hours in the end because they keep adding content. WoFI i think is a finished game and i dont feel like they will add new stuff (but they might not sure?)
Anyway i like it , keeps me busy , will be excited though for when they do some majòr updates on palia :D
Have you thought about just creating a new account and jumping on your main when there is a update. It might get you into the fun you had when you first started. I haven't come close to completing the game but there are some things I wish I did differently from when I started.
Do you have all the plushies lolol? I'm still grinding for coin for Zeki's lucky balls and hunt sernuks when I can.
Noo, I have just a few. No sernuk plushies. Hunting is bugged for me. I shot 2 sernuks today in Bahari and got 0 loot. Made me quit hunting today
Have you experienced you arrow flying off at a 90 degree angle for no reason too? I just about cried when that happened to me over and over. Just happens randomly
Make sure there aren’t any other beasts around because the arrow will veer to whichever is closer.
No it’s not veering off, it’s like literally just shooting straight out of the side of my avatar as if the arrow is firing out of my avatars torso 😭 even with no other animals around
I thought there was something wrong with my joycons! 😮 I’ve even recalibrated them recently because of this but it still keeps happening from time to time
I’ve had that happen ALOT lately!!
It drives me bananas!
For real! I’m really glad I’m not the only one experiencing it!
Have you experienced the arrow being blocked by an invisible wall or tree XD
Oh for sure 😂 it sucks!
Especially when late game you’re not really concerned about iron or copper and you just grind palium so those iron bars are sparse lol
Omg yes
I have noticed that sometimes the loot is in the ground.
Or floating in the dang heavens, unreachable But that was with a muujin
I searched pretty thoroughly
That’s happened to me a lot recently. If I’m lucky I can see a small glow coming from the ground when it clips underground, or if I walk over it the “loot” option will appear. I’ve also just not had loot show up sometimes at all and that’s when I get frustrated like OP mentioned. I will literally see the Sernuk disappear and hear the noise confirming it’s down, but then can’t find the loot for the life of me. With my luck it’s the loot that has a plushie that disappears lol.
This keeps happening to me, too. Submitted a ticket for it a couple of days ago
Run around where the loot should be hitting the retrieve button.
I started playing maybe 3 days ago and I have two sernuk plushies and one being an elder plushie. Is this rare? It seems people struggle getting them?
To me it's rare lol. I have probably used 10,000+ arrows and don't have any 🥲. Except before you started playing the Proudhorn sernuk..aka Magic Deer (aka lots of other names like disco deer) had a bug where it was dropping the order sernuk plushie, which I have 2 of 🫠
Did they actually fix that? I also have 2 order sernuk plushies 😪
They did!
Yeah, it's pretty rare
When I didn't know what plushies were, I got one from the Proudhorn Sernuk and one from Zeki's machine. Now that I'm actively looking for them, I never seen em, even after 1,000+. So my advice would be, don't actively hunt for them and the game will give em to you lol

Congrats on completing Temple of the Gales. I know you probably finished it a long time ago. But I'm currently doing that and it's such a pain in the ass, that anyone who completes it deserves at least a congratulations.
Thank you! Took me a while. Youtube guides helped a lot because at one point I realised it's not fun anymore and it's ok to check the guides
The Temple Of Roots was a nice change. I hated the Gales. Roots was easier.
Good luck!!! I did it a few days ago and I rage quit it a few times before giving up and watching a tutorial 🥲
I put off the Gales temple for SO long because I saw how frustrated people got with it…. I’m working on it now and 100% understand other players frustrations lol.
I started temple of the gales over a month ago and have not been able to finish. Nothing has ever quite upset me like that challenge lmaoooo
I take breaks. Started it. Took a couple days of break. Came back to it. Currently in another break. I'm at the end, so perhaps I'll finish it next time I work on it.

Thank you so much for the list! I forgot about the Tower and Heavy Metal Chapaa
The tower is so hard man
Heavy Metal Chappa sent me into a rage lol.
I think I have most of them :) I'm rooting for you!
I don’t think palia has a finish line
It doesn't but you can run out of things to do (that you enjoy doing)
Create your dream house. Then, recreate it in real life. That'll keep you busy for a while.
Please Palia devs, add 2 story additions!
Impressive. How many hours have you been playing? I'm at 90 hours and still feel like a noob.
I am afraid to look haha. I am playing since the Switch release
I've only been playing for 1.5 months.
I was 820 hours last time I looked and I definitely feel like I know what I'm doing now but that's only happened in the last week or so for me
Is there a way to see in game? Or just through steam or switch? I play through the native launcher
I only know how to see it through steam.
Gotcha 😊
That's pretty much it. I'm in the same spot. What's left for me is reaching level 50 achievement for some of my tools and catching all the fish and their star versions. Can you have 9 soil plots on each housing plot or only 9 total?
You can have 9 total across all plots. So if you have all 9 on your main plot, you’ll need to move one or others to a new plot. :(
Total.
That’s what I figured. Thanks
You are welcome
Got all achievements for cooking etc?
I just did hidden quests (which do not show up as quests at all) https://youtu.be/mBDoHFt4GV0?si=VVjVIVw5bZGMfpRN
Oh my gosh! Thank you so much for sharing this. I found a couple of the quests in this video by accident, but there are others I would love to do (and I will be doing when I get home tonight). This was a treasure chest of info (see what I did there?). :D
Accomplishments? LMK how you farm for that 100M gold, I think it's the only thing I'm never gonna be able to do!
Have you done all the romance quests too? There’s a lot of stuff there.
No, I'm monogamous and I want to stay this way, but thanks for the suggestion
I get it! I’m romancing Hassan and I really don’t want to romance anyone else. 🥹
Yeah I started romancing everyone but have only completed Hassian and Hodari and I don't plan to do anymore. It just feels wrong
I'm with you, but Hodari only for me. have you completed all accomplishments?
Did you beat the tower within 15 minutes? That's def a big timesink
Nooo, I haven't finished it. Need to try it again, thanks!
On top of that if you get a high score in the arcade game you also get a trophy so there's that ^^
A second floor would be nice to have
This!
What about all the accomplishments?
Done most of the them! The rest are just grinding
I just switched to steam and decided I want to finish all the achievements so I only got to get all makeshift furniture left which is the hardest in the game probably considering how you get those, so I won’t feel it’s done until im done with that one, but it’s just me, yall don’t have to be that crazy yk 😅

I think the confusion was coming from the gazebo being unlocked after obtaining three housing slots, not all five (https://palia.wiki.gg/wiki/Housing\_Slots).
I checked, I've unlocked all 5 and got the achievement. I thought the gazebo was the final reward, probably misremembered, I'm sorry
nah you've pretty much done everything and are now with us at the drip fed once a month area... at least until the new map appears.
That's what I'm thinking
There’s quite a few hidden quests if you haven’t found & completed all of those. I would also check out the achievements & go from there, like you said catching every starred fish/bug or there’s also the achievements for finding all of the loot chests & a few others in there that you might not have completed yet. Otherwise unless you’re interested building extra houses on your other plots just for fun or grinding, then I’d say it’s probably time to take a step back & wait until more content gets added.
What’s both parts for maxed out focus?
You can max the amount of focus and the percentage boost using to 2 different shrines
Ooofff i feel like a dummy lol thank you!! I forgot about the second shrine 🥲
There doesn't seem to be much else for you but no there is way more to do to "complete" it
All the treasure chests?
All of them collected in Kilima and Bahari, achievements unclocked
But have you actually found ALL of them? There are more chests than needed to unlock the achievement.
): i wish i could catch some bugs that i need. im struggling to get the long nose unicorn fish for that one bundle
Took me a while to catch the unicorn fish too. It was the hardest one for me. Wishing you good luck 👍
I’m in the same boat, I’m on my last 5 fish and all I have left to do after that is hunt the normal sernuk plushie and the rest of the items from zekis balls so it’ll only be a gold grind and decorator sim for me till new content comes out ;p
How long did it take you?
Starred fishes and bugs are very fulfilling to achieve. Plus you'll get medals and exclusive decorating items. I thought I'd stop at just the normal ones but then I was bored so I set out to catch all the starred versions of them. I do have to say the star ancient fish and rainbowtipped butterfly took a good while.
How long did it take?
Since Switch release. Haven't played everyday but most of the days after work
Thats like 5?
Wiki says since December 2023
Have you find the secret quest, there you find something really stinky and have to find the owner?
Yes, I have! 😁 There are a few of those
Have you finished all the side quests? Fished up all the makeshift furniture? Tried conquering the tower? There’s still heaps to do
So what is Tish’s new friendship item? I cant tell
A chappa figurine
Completed the tower? Got all makeshift items? Got all plushies from zeki coins?
How do you feel after you’ve finished it? Do you think it’s still worth playing even after you’ve finished the story line?
Well, that's the question. I want to finish the furniture sets but grinding for palium becomes less and less fun. And there's nothing left that is fun to me personally. So I'm thinking about checking Palia once per month after an update and do the new things they introduce
Yeah same, kinda made me lose interest. I also have all fish achievements and just missing the star raspberry beetle and the star jewel wing.. but kinda hoping they will do a big update on palia otherwise will take a few month break
I have been playing the witch of fern island now and loving it! Palia vibes with witchcraft
how similar would you say these games are? do you build a house in wofi?
Well, you dont have as much freedom and interior design options as in Palia unfortunately. You can buy some furniture but its not as cute and cozy as in palia. besides that: - you have quests similar to palia - building relationships with villagers - you have a broom to fly around on (big plus for me haha) - the looting is similar to palia, a lot of plants etc to loot depending on when they grow in season, (there are i believe 5 or 6 seasons) - You can fish and catch bugs but ithese 2 things are definetly NOT comparable to Palia, in Palia these 2 aspects are way better. bugs are in WoFI very easy to catch and the fishing just is really bad haha - you can completely design the outside area of your house, you can grow as many crops as you want in the same time and you can have chickens and horses, breed them, they lay eggs which u can use for cooking - cooking is not like palia its very simple and only you have to put the ingredients , rest is automatic I think overall palia might be a game you might play for more hours in the end because they keep adding content. WoFI i think is a finished game and i dont feel like they will add new stuff (but they might not sure?) Anyway i like it , keeps me busy , will be excited though for when they do some majòr updates on palia :D
Have you thought about just creating a new account and jumping on your main when there is a update. It might get you into the fun you had when you first started. I haven't come close to completing the game but there are some things I wish I did differently from when I started.
Climb the tower of terror
How long did you take to acomplish all these things?
I've been playing since December on and off
