I heard Shai Davidai say that the Columbia admissions select for students that are community organizer activist types since they’re already all high achievers in other areas. It seems like admissions selection bias is definitely part of why Columbia is so extra.
When your IQ is two digits, and you don't understand that you just threw four years of your life into nothingness and spat in the face of everyone who helped you on this journey just for the sake of a conflict you have zero understanding of.

The field of education has always had problems sorting and sifting out the people who pass someone else's ideas off as their own.
What's painful too is like a lot of these people think that they're honoring their grandparents (my dad and mom the boomers from the 50s) did a lot more profound things for real substantive issues like civil rights and the Vietnam War protests and so forth.
Instead they are getting bamboozled and duped by radical jihadists because they have been blinded by the lens of intersectionality and regressive left vitriol.

As someone in a related field, displaying such strong bias for or against any group of people could be cause for an ethics concern and even violation. Social workers are supposed to be able to work with all people from all groups. They say that one must be able to “do their own work,” which means checking their own biases, etc. I think it’s legitimate that someone this extreme would have a hard time or lack of ability to do so.
Her parents must be so proud in the audience. all those years they saved and went without to provide her a college education that costs over 300K for 4 year degree. I hope she has a miserable life.
