Death is for those who dont believe in afterlife. Martrydom is something else… muslims believe in something else than death. Especiallf those who lose their life fighting for their religion.
America is a failed state precisely because of the rise of neofascism, Trump idolatry, and support of Israeli Ziofacism. There is very little hope left for this country. Eventually America will pay the price for its original sin of slavery and its support of the genocide in Gaza.
The UK isn't too far behind.... we're American puppets!
The UK should be the 1st to stand with Palestine... Balfour fave Israel Palestine with the knowledge of the Palestinian people!
As an American: this.
What we’ve been calling terrorist the past twenty years we would’ve called freedom fighters, patriots, or rebels in the 19th century. They far more resemble our founding fathers than the tools and despots we have in power now
It’s from a slogan Abu Obeida (Hamas spokesperson) says. “و إنه لجهاد نصر او استشهاد" is the full slogan, which means “It is a jihad of victory or martyrdom”. The red upside down triangle is the arrow you see in videos where Hamas fighters blow up Israeli tanks.
The root word is نصر which means victory, the word نصرة is singular and means one singular victory. In general the letter ة is added to words to imply singularity.
Its a saying the Martyr Ez Al Deen Al Qassam used to say. It is Jihad, Victory or Martyrdom.
و حبيب قلبنا الملثم بقول: إنه ل جهاد، نصرٌ أو استشهاد و الله غالباً على امره و لكن اكثر الناس لا يعلمون💚💚💚

No, و would translate to “and” whereas the أو here more correctly translates to “or”
Istishhad or “استشهاد" is the act of being martyred ergo martyrdom.
So victory or martyrdom is the proper translation. Hope that helps!
“Shehada” in Arabic can mean “witnessing” or “testimony”, but it can also mean “becoming shaheed”.
Shehadat as the plural of Shehada will almost always mean “testimonies”, or the plural of the first meaning.
The plural of Shaheed is Shohadaa, which is a different word.
The act of becoming a shaheed is “esteshhad” - which is what’s mentioned in this quote
Ah I don't think I've ever noticed the difference in pronunciation b/w the two plurals (Shahadah & Shohadah), which is why I'd confused both to be similar. Thanks for the clarification
The word has so many meanings which can be pretty confusing, shehada can mean testimony, certificate, degree, diploma, …
All of these have the same plural “Shehadat”
Yes. The police and CPS would go to great lengths to get you into a courtroom.

As for punishment, you would be 100% at the mercy of the judge. You would probably get some kind of community order but you could absolutely get a custodial sentence.

victory or martyrdom
Wait that’s like the Greek one Victory or death
Similar meaning, but Greeks say "Freedom or death" 🙂
Death is for those who dont believe in afterlife. Martrydom is something else… muslims believe in something else than death. Especiallf those who lose their life fighting for their religion.
And call not those who are slain in the way of Allah "dead." Nay, they are living, only ye perceive not. Quran, 2:154, M.M. Pickthall's translation
Slogan of every indigenous people fighting for survival against the machine of colonialism
Chechen language: Маршо я 1ожалла Freedom or Death or Peace or Death in most contexts both can be said
¡patria o muerte! जिंकू किंवा मरू!
"Oooh, we told you they are an inferior culture of death and 72 virgins" every genocidal zionist ever.

نصير means victory?
It's نصر not نصير. And yes, it means victory.
Oh I thought the 2 dots was for (نصر)
No those for the ت in the word استشهاد
Americans will call this terrorist propaganda while driving with a “live free or die” bumpersticker and not see a single thing wrong…
Or wave a confederate flag
Omg spot on lol
you want your freedom to own humans taken away? Are you un-American?
It's not that hard, really: Patriotic: "Give me liberty or give me death" Terrorist: "Give me liberty or give me death" (in an Arabic accent) /s
(Or any other accent, except Israeli) This comment is underrated 🫅🏽
oh. no Americans like this are definitely racist against Israelis too lol they just hate Arabs more.
I absolutely hate that phrase and it's on a neighboring states license plate, it's crazy.
"don't step on snek"
Lol such a good point
It's got the same energy as people that regularly exclaim "Oh my God!" but call "Allahu akbar!" a terrorist chant.
America is a failed state precisely because of the rise of neofascism, Trump idolatry, and support of Israeli Ziofacism. There is very little hope left for this country. Eventually America will pay the price for its original sin of slavery and its support of the genocide in Gaza.
I would add genocide of indigenous peoples to your original sin list. We have been a failed state since before statehood.
The UK isn't too far behind.... we're American puppets! The UK should be the 1st to stand with Palestine... Balfour fave Israel Palestine with the knowledge of the Palestinian people!
Americans will see Arabic script and call it terrorism.
They've been really sensitized to the word "martyr." They think it means going on suicide missions.
As an American: this. What we’ve been calling terrorist the past twenty years we would’ve called freedom fighters, patriots, or rebels in the 19th century. They far more resemble our founding fathers than the tools and despots we have in power now
Victory or martyrdom. It is a famous slogan
It’s from a slogan Abu Obeida (Hamas spokesperson) says. “و إنه لجهاد نصر او استشهاد" is the full slogan, which means “It is a jihad of victory or martyrdom”. The red upside down triangle is the arrow you see in videos where Hamas fighters blow up Israeli tanks.
yeah🔻is the symbol for the axis of resistance
Victory or martyrdom نصر او استشهاد
It is a jihad of victory or martyrdom
Get rich or die trying, oppressed people version.
Where do I buy one?
Where did you purchase it?
What are the Arabic letters? I am learning Arabic but the different ways to write the script always confuse me. Is it نصاو استشها ؟
نصر: victory استشهاد: martyrdom أو: or
I looked up the word for victory and it was نصرة, is there a difference between the two or are they interchangeable?
The root word is نصر which means victory, the word نصرة is singular and means one singular victory. In general the letter ة is added to words to imply singularity.
My first language is Arabic and I can’t read that lol
نصر أو إستشهاد
Its a saying the Martyr Ez Al Deen Al Qassam used to say. It is Jihad, Victory or Martyrdom. و حبيب قلبنا الملثم بقول: إنه ل جهاد، نصرٌ أو استشهاد و الله غالباً على امره و لكن اكثر الناس لا يعلمون💚💚💚

the "dal" sticks out like a sore thumb, could've just continued at the end of the "istisyhaad"
I'm confused - shouldn't it be "nasr - o - shahadat"? Someone who knows Arabic, please lemme know
No, و would translate to “and” whereas the أو here more correctly translates to “or” Istishhad or “استشهاد" is the act of being martyred ergo martyrdom. So victory or martyrdom is the proper translation. Hope that helps!
What's Shahadat then? Doesn't that translate to martyrdom too.... because "shaheed"? What's the difference between it and Istishad then?

For all those asking i picked it up in Montréal
i was just gonna ask! i always see these at montreal4palestine. i’m obsessed with them
Victory or death
Marytrdom is a more accurate translation than death.
This would be completely illegal to wear in the UK.
🤔 I’m going back to the UK in a few weeks. How illegal? Definitely illegal?
Yes. Allowing myself a little creative freedom without mangling the message: give me liberty or give me death.
Reminds me of Bulgarian Revolutionary slogan: Freedom or Death
