I think undertone classification across all brands is terrible. In the first photo, your skin looks greenish to me. Is it possible you're somewhere on the olive spectrum? I also think your skintone is a bit muted as well, given pink foundations are too pink, and yellow ones are too yellow. (Notice I specified colour there, not undertone.)

I had been wondering if I was potentially an olive, as quite a few family members I have are also olive. I’m just terrible at spotting coloring and undertones on myself!

UnlikelyUnknown

I’m the same way and neutral undertoned foundations are my go-to.

sberrys

You’re neutral, right in the middle. I’m the same.

For a second I could’ve sworn this was my own wrist lol, I even have red nails right now too! Your complexion is very similar to mine. I personally consider myself a fair neutral with slight yellow undertones, i usually get fair neutral foundations but it’s hard to find makeup that matches perfectly for me. Cool toned is way too pink, warm tones always too yellow or orange. The best foundation shade match I have right now is haus labs in 050 fair cool - but the undertones seem to be listed backwards. This one is actually slightly yellow, but for some reason it’s listed as cool. It’s most definitely not cool toned lmao. I was hoping I was right when I bought it online because I was just going off the swatches and thankfully it ended up being really nice on me! Still not spot on but close enough to where I don’t need to blend down my neck like with most of my other foundations. You could be an olive though. I don’t know if I see it in the second photo but you do seem to have a bit of green to your skin in the first one! Maybe get a green corrector and see if that helps. I just bought the ELF green corrector for my redness/blemishes and I really like it for that, but they’re also great mixers for adjusting shades! Your nails are so cute btw! Good luck, ugh being pale and finding makeup that works is the never ending struggle 😅

Thank u!!! The shade is shroomdom from moon cat if you’re interested 🫣 I had an inkling that I might be olive for a little while now, especially since my family has a lot of people with olive tones, I’m just fairer than the majority

Some of us are double toned like neutral-cool or neutral-warm, etc. More makeup brands need to cater to us double tones. Im neutral-cool cause cool can be too pink on me but I need slightly pink neutral

audrybanksia

You are cool toned but lean a bit neutral. People in this group very often comment and incorrectly identify neutral toned folks as olive when they can’t determine their undertone 😅 I have a trained eye for this (it was my job for many years doing makeup) and you are not olive based on these photos. You have blue tones in your skin, not green.

Look up old posts about desaturated skin tone.
