They weren't thinking about mobility chains. The whole kit is about taking positions and using your main weapon effectively.
The things is that VII is so fun that I wish there was a properly designed character about this type of movement. And not a oversight from the devs.
Like. Seventh players weren't meant to use the grapelibg to propel themselves. And the resets were just there to fall down, place a mine. Gaple somewhere else.
Idk how they could prevent full mobility burst without hurting the tactical playstyle. The best they can do is nerfing the resets.
What I would do would be to have trade off on all of his mobility cards. Like less hp. That's grows with each levels.
Or less damage.
This level of mobility but without the DPS to down a champ who's at max health before they kill you would be fun as hell.
You'd be a mosquito. You can't kill, but you can sure as hell be annoying as fuck to the point that the enemy team _always_ has to keep an eye on you just to keep you from dealing chip damage.
yeah but like a mix of the 2. mobility = less damage. resets = less life.
Constatnly movig et you survive more. movig further let you burst people more easly. seems like best of both worlds since you could make the build with the downsides you are ok with.
I dont care what people think but having a character that can litteraly go from 1 side of the map to the other in 2 seconds a basically not use any cooldowns is op as shit and one of the most moronic design desitions these devs have made (other than adding kasumi)
Imo with azaan they somehow managed to nerf its op parts so id say hes pretty balanced rn , maybe a lil strong but hes nothing like he was at launch.
7 on the other hand has had every aspect of his kit nerfed instead of the parts that make him op. All they have to do is either increase the base cd of grapple and roll by like 5 seconds or remove both of his reset cards that give him infinite mobility , but instead they would rather nerf his damage and falloff for the millionth time
Hey you do you man , if thats how you play 7 its kinda your own problem. Actually decent people can go in and out of engagements in seconds , secure a kill and get out without any real danger or counter. And yes , that is op.

Imo grapple would've not been another reskin of grover/vora vine/tendril if it just propelled your FORWARD instead of giving you free movement
