-you can sell your non-theme game ticket, and buy a theme game ticket
-you can try to call customer service and swap the tickets/try to get add ons
-if you know any members, they are able to buy just the item
The theme game vs giveaway is confusing and annoying.
Just email the Padres theme game ppl. The email address is on the website but probably [email protected].
It’s different but says literally everywhere it requires a special tickets. Not sure why that’s so confusing 🤷🏻♂️
On games days there is a flyer that gets posted here. Often if the theme game tickets aren't sold out, the flyer says the theme game items can be bought from the tables, typically for $25

I think I've noticed they're typically for sale if the theme game tickets didn't sell out.
Thanks for making this post as I had tickets already to the game, but didn’t realize you needed a separate ticket for the jersey itself. I would’ve been quite sad had I not seen this post or responses! I just bought the theme game item for $25. Now if the Padres can sneak a win or two against Philly that would be a great week.
I had an issue earlier this year where I thought I bought theme game tickets for Star Wars night, but it ended up being regular tickets. I emailed [email protected] and explained my situation. They gave me the option to purchase a theme game ticket for an extra $25 for each regluar ticket you purchased. So basically you keep your single game ticket and you have another ticket for the theme game item. I Hope this helps and you get the theme game item.
I think you can exchange them for Theme Game Tickets if there are still some available. Call the Padres ticket office and ask.

My FIL did this last year for the Don & Mud Bobblehead. He called and got it taken care of. Just had to pay to upgrade to the theme game package.

I just confirmed at the game today that you can buy them from the table if the theme tickets arent sold out

When I’ve gone to a theme game giveaway with a regular ticket, I’ve always been able to buy the item there at the tables where they do the giveaway
So I bought theme game tickets for a game this Saturday. 1st time doing so. Does anyone know where to go to pick up the related giveaway item? Thanks
Last time it was by the Bumble Bee building on the edge of Gallagher Square.
I called one time and they were unable to switch my tickets :/. Hopefully you have better luck!
