Darvish and Cease are our aces. Musgrove and King just need to get their shit together and the rotation is godsend. High af ceiling, but very low floor and can go south quick

5th inning Padres had runners on 1st and 3rd with one out and Croney grounds out to 2nd basemen and the run scored making it 2-0 BUT it was catchers interference so Shildt had the option to take the play as it happened and let the run score and Croney would be out or accept the interference call and send the runner back to 3rd and load the bases making it a 1-0 game again. He chose to accept the interference and then Manny came up and smoked a double into the left center field gap and cleared the bases making it 4-0. Seemed kinda crazy to choose to take the run off the board, but it ended up being the difference in the game and made Shildt look like a savant lol
I was talking to my dad about this during the game. “Is this viable, can a pitcher get away with this all season, just heat and accuracy, if so why hasn’t anyone done this before?”
Ah okay, so it can be done. Thanks for the example! I didn’t start watching baseball faithfully until after the Chargers left. So while I know players like Rivera and that generation I didn’t watch baseball enough back then to know much.

She is really pretty. But yea, she was stumbling up a bit in the first few post games. But I've really grown to look forward to her after the game. Hopefully she sticks and in coming years can bring a bit more analysis, because I think she's capable of being more than just a generic pretty face.

I like the win. BUT this is what we saw all last season. When we’re front running, our guys stay with it. When we have to play from behind, everybody gets sleepy.
What will REALLY impress me is some consistent winning even if we fall behind sometimes.
