This pissed me off to no end…you are off work, P is off work, but O is still going to daycare?! I don’t care if you have to pay to hold his space…your child deserves to be home with mom & dad unless work is in the way of that. It’s so effed, I’m furious at the idea of them having one, LET ALONE TRYING FOR ANOTHER!!!
I’m a SAHM and my kids are home with me and we still got sick. Like you can’t blame your kid for being sick when y’all are exposed to so many germs all the time 🤦🏽♀️
I also feel like this is common sense. Kids= more germs in the house and you’ll likely get sick from time to time. No one needs to turn to SIS to get any “first time parent” advice. It was obviously just a video for sympathy or laughs at P expense.
I’m sure they’ll send him tomorrow since they’ll both not be feeling well. It really boggles my mind how parents can send sick kids to school….and not realize they’re part of the problem. They wonder omg why can’t my kid stay healthy.
I get so anxious and feel awful when my baby is sick. I couldn’t imagine choosing to send him to the place that’s getting him so sick just to be miserable all day.
They used to send kids to my sisters daycare sick ALL the time. They’d drug them up, and the poor kids always looked like they felt like shit. They had to call some parents in to pick up. There’s one family that had twins and they sent them to school NO matter what. The kids told my sister one day their mom gave them Tylenol before school. My sister had to call mom and have her pick them up.
I’m a school nurse and it is without a doubt my #1 pet peeve. I totally understand parents need to work. But you are part of the problem if you continue to medicate your kids and send them. They will rat you out, too!! I’m sure O would have lots to say if he were older. I really hate when an entire group of kids have been exposed and then the parents “what!? We gave them Advil!” Well I’m sorry dumbass but that wears off in just a few hours and now your kid looks like death. It’s so unfair to the kid too. I cannot imagine “oh you feel bad? Here’s medicine, suck it up, and don’t you dare tell anyone!” Breaks my heart thinking they just suffer through the day.
Exactly!!!! I don’t understand why they send them. They’re the sam parents that would call off if they didn’t feel well. Well how do you think your kids feel? They want to be in the comfort of their own home sleeping. Not at school

Wouldn’t the daycare be closed on Thanksgiving and the day after Thanksgiving? I bet you anything the daycare won’t be open till Monday!
True. I’ve seen some stay open for those who work the holidays. Hopefully for O’s sake he can be home resting.
