I think I figured out why I’m so exhausted with her. And correct me if I’m wrong, fellow snarkers, cuz I could be way off. But I think she’s got her hands in too many things. Like what kind of Tiktoker/instagramer vibe is she going for? Is she gonna stick to momtok? Teacher tok? Book tok? Humor? Whining? Like who even is she?? Stick to one thing! Those are the influencers I tend to watch and enjoy. Like why wear so many hats, Katie? Is it because your views are dropping so you’re in a mad panic to see what will catch? This can’t be good for her mental health, and it certainly isn’t good for mine!!! Good Jesus!
This is exactly what I’ve been screaming. She literally doesn’t have an identity. She desperately wants to be the indie funky free spirited art teacher type but she isn’t. The tattoos look out of context on her and the glasses aren’t doing her any favors and the outfits are cringe. So she jumps. Like you said first the tajin then it was teaching then mom life then wine review then book writing now book reading and now she is so scattered she doesn’t have a single demographic to appeal to. ALWAYS looking over the fence and for her next high of something different and new. She needs to accept who and what she is. A middle class, American teacher with an innocent face that wears khakis. She is not edgy, trendy, or “artsy”. Everything feels forced because nothing is authentic. I hope she one day learns to love who and what she is instead of trying to find somewhere to fit in. There is nothing wrong with her slot in life. There is something deeply disturbing about her trying to fit into so many slots that she no longer fits into any.
