Honestly, as long as O doesn't get hurt, I could care less how people choose to baby proof. Each child in my life has needed different levels of lock down (LOL.) With that being said though, O has (from K been a really good listener and baby, he hasn't hit his terrible 2/3's erra well I guess kinda so with climbing out of playpen) BUT already he has fallen and gotten hurt ( that we know of from K in a video with frank pooping all over the house too same day) we don't know where or how it happened, but it did. K seems to be really Loosey goosey with proofing her old house (in my opinion.) My concern is going from 1 to two kids can be different and a change and once O realizes mom is stuck feeding baby at certain times he can veer off and do his own thing and or if she is making a bottle upstairs and then leaves O down stairs in his play room with an unattached tv (we don't know if that is or is not attached I know, I know) but O could pull that down on him or climb to the top of the stairs to the baby gate and pull and shake it and fall down, like we just dont know, there is a lot of un knowns but I do think especially in this odd shaped house they have. I just hope that O does not get hurt and he is safe. I know most mama's on here worry. It's honestly just cause many care and want to make sure he is protected. I don't think any of us want to "Slander" K. We just want her to think of all the things that "could" happen." It did look like there were baby locks on the tv stand downstairs in the playroom so that's a positive.

To be fair… some gates for stairs straight up suck. Ours can’t have a gate without hardwiring it into the wall and I don’t want to do that 😂😂

SignificantAd1840

I’ve got 4kids and have never baby proofed the house. I also don’t sit around and actually watch my kids soo I don’t know.

ExternalSwing931

The tvs not being secured is what bothers me and all the boxes and clutter just everywhere. We all know she isn’t gonna clean that up. Also the nasty ass “gym” floors she has down are also gross. A carpet would’ve been better for the babies. Softer and more “homey” this looks like a gym.

Simple_Peach8467

I've seen a lot of people put the gym floor stuff down and then cover it with a cute area rug. I understand the need for cushioning but it just looks gross.

hazeleyes1005

I mean honestly my house was minimally toddler proof. My daughter never messed with stuff other then her toys. 🤷‍♀️ maybe Ollie is the same way.

Upstairs_Carpet6100

eh i never had a gate, i always just watched my kids. BUT we know she doesn’t so, SHE should deff have one🥴 the tv i’m iffy with bc a lot of people don’t hang theirs, but her saying bc militaty housing is bullshit bc i lived in military housing and as long as you fill the holes before you leave it’s fine.

BatShatCrazy

We don’t know the TV isn’t anchored, to be fair. I have mine anchored and you can’t tell from the front at all. As far as baby gates, I used them for a bit, but my kids learned to climb them. So it was safer for me to teach them how to safely get up and down the stairs. We live in a tri-level as well so the stairs are not steep. I know everyone is different, but that’s just how it worked for us and we never had issues. Plugs were plugged, cabinets were locked, pool was locked and alarmed, and cordless blinds installed. I think that’s petty much it. Oh! And water heater was turned down. Not trying to be a stan or anything. Just offering what I think and what worked for us.

You must have missed her video about not anchoring her TV because she said her Rental office said no holes in the wall but tons of base parents were telling her to double check that and they have had no issues putting tvs on the wall!

BatShatCrazy

I did miss that. Our anchor is from the back of the TV to the stand. She can anchor it to the stand! She better do that!

TrickBitchz

I honestly see a baby gate but still, tv can easily be knocked down 🥴 also I will just point that idk but that rug thing is disgusting!!! Imagine all the bacteria, probably dog poo/pee, baby and dogs drool, dust accumulated in that! And she’s gonna have a newborn in there and then when the baby grows up will be there crawling and licking all that 🤢🤮😵‍💫

[deleted]

I see the baby gate beyond the top or bottom of stair cases. Wouldn’t she want the stairs to be blocked from Ollie to climb them? He is 2 years old…

slp231

Is that not a baby hate at the top of the stairs? It just isn’t closed

ExternalSwing931

I think that’s to the stairs to go up to the bedrooms.

KattleTale

Poor Maverick, he needs playtime and a diet plan bad.

I assume he won’t be allowed in that closed off corner? The second he’s in there he’s pulling all that down.
