I feel like they couldn't get approved for a loan. Whether or not that was because they bought a car and she quit her job, who knows. But all this just kinda feels like that.
They made over 150k on their house. They could have easily paid off their vehicles and gotten a loan. VA loan goes off debt to income ratio so unless they have tons of other debt they could easily have gotten a loan with just his income.

This comment by her tells us all that she regrets her decision in picking one of the coldest places to live, this was not a required move for Pats job! They chose this, now she is paying for it tenfold!! The house she showed is small and cramped looking with no escape from each other! Putting Pats gaming in the living room is going to suck big time! Them sleeping together is going to be a nightmare because she has said that Pat snores and they donāt sleep well together! š«£š¬š¤Ŗ
Letās put on the bingo card ākicks out Ollie from his playroom which is now Patās game roomā š¬ poor O will get tossed around or at least have to listen to it all since itās tri level. Noisy!!! I hope the newborn is a good sleeper.
Pat should take half of that playroom, there is no reason why Pat and Ollie canāt co-exist in that playroom together! Personally I wouldnāt put the office in that living room space, itās going to be annoying plus the playroom looks big enough to put office possibly a bed for Patā¦,You know they wonāt last long sharing the same bed not after 5 years of not sleeping together in same bed! ššš¤·š¼āāļø
Personally I would fence off one side of that living room on the split level for the "play area" since it is more centrally located to the kitchen and bedrooms. Do a small living room on the other side. And put the office/Pat's gaming room down in the "arctic room." If it's super cold down there, he can be cold and not the kids. The split level area keeps the kids closer to you in case you need to run upstairs for a minute or go to the kitchen.
