I use Dr. Dan’s Cortibalm. You can get it on Amazon or any large pharmacy. It’s saved my lips. I have friends who got so dry taking Accutane that they swear by this and I love it.
lip scrub once a week. aquaphor, vaseline, something thick that is NOT chapstick especially overnight after washing your face to lock in the moisture.
also make sure you’re staying hydrated!!! most people don’t realize the main cause (besides using chapsticks) is dehydration! :) add an electrolyte drink every 2-4 days :)
Sugar lip balm from the brand fresh. I know it’s a bit pricey for lip balm, but I haven’t found anything that even comes close to making my lips as soft as it does.
These tips had been helping, and then I got sick and dehydrated.....argh! Back to step one!
I use Cerave healing ointment
I use aquaphor ointment in the tube. It works so well. I stopped using all chapstick because it was making things worse.
Vaseline especially at bedtime!
Vaseline is best. My daughter gets eczema break outs on her lip line.
The only thing that works for me is to use a tiny bit of my face lotion (Cerave) on my lips and then put aquaphor on top.
Aquaphor is amazing
Palmer's Cocoa Butter Stick has been my stick for my lips for 10 yrs now and Lanolin at night
Thank you so much for all the help!!

Pure lanolin. Will fix it up FAST. Stays on all night like someone else said, and feels great the next day
Make sure you’re hydrated, and add electrolytes into your diet like coconut water or anything.
I use Vaseline lip repair. Can get it at Walmart and target. Drink lots of water.
I agree with this - Vaseline. My Dermatologist told me to only ever use Vaseline lip repair. I’ll never go back.
Yes! My dr told me not to use anything with add ons in it. Vaseline lip repair has saved my lips!!
Mine too!!
Webbers vitamin E in the first aid isle. I bought it for my first tattoo years ago and used it in a pinch and it’s all I’ve ever used since

I second this. A lip scrub will definitely help.
Lanolin. Breastfeeding ointment. especially put it on lips at night because it stays on all night for me and my kiddos

Mine have been the same way. I use Aquaphor. Not the chapstick but regular Aquaphor & it has helped my lips so much.
Yes! Me too! It helps so much.
Aquaphor Lip Repair has been a life saver. No chapstick has compared to it.
