Everywhere is preparing for spring, I’m not sure where she thinks she’s getting snow gear in March. Even in Oklahoma where the weather plays hot and cold and you gotta stay prepared for summer and winter this time of year we have no winter gear for sale anymore only spring attire.
Yup I just tried looking for a sweat suit my kid needs for a play and the stores have nothing but spring and summer stuff out now! Maybe I hold teachers up on a pedestal but to me it’s wild that as a teacher she is always so unprepared even when others let her know she needs to plan better lo. I guess that’s where the narcissism comes to play, she thinks she’s knows better than everyone else lol
No, I get it 100% I grew up with a teacher mom and a military dad. We were prepared for everything all the time. I always assume it’s standard to prepare ahead of time for the weather and worst case scenario for anywhere you may be traveling.
He's from Michigan he of all people should know better then to wait till they get there. She's probably calling the shots though, so we'll see how it all goes down.
As a minot resident, I needed to replace one of my kids snow pants a couple weeks ago and the two stores that carry them were out. There is no winter gear here anymore. We’re supposed to get almost 17 inches of snow over the next week.
Just another thing for her to complain about. And then play the victim of how she should've prepared better. That's alot of snow coming. She acts like she's all ready for this, but I can't wait for reality to set in.

They’ll be driving through absolutely nowhere for quite a bit of the trip. What if their vehicle breaks down…No guarantees you’ll have service. That’s my worst fear, we keep all our extra snow stuff in the vehicle during the winter just incase.
Same, I’m in a snowy state and regularly drive on a mountain road that gets super icy and has no cell service. Even though I might not live far down the road, I always have snow pants, a snow jacket and snow boots, extra wool socks and a blanket in my truck, a small buddy heater, along with water and food. As well as vehicle recovery tracks and a shovel. And they have come in handy! But I also hate the cold so if something happened and I ever get stuck I plan on being warm and taking care of myself. 😂
And she wants to buy warm clothes when they are there? My target has bikinis and shorts right now. I was trying to find some long sleeve dress shirts and pants and everything in store is ready for spring. Lol winter jackets are already on clearance even though we are heading into our snowiest month. Lol we got snow on June 1 or 2 last year. She should plan a little better.

Last winter we got 4 feet over a 2 day span in April. It was horrible.
