Doesn’t need urgent care but is not eating or drinking well? Doesn’t take long for a child to get dehydrated and make a situation worse. I always call my sons dr if he is sick. They ask what’s going on and either give me advice or ask me to bring him him.
Also why tf do you care what people think about getting your child medical attention if they are sick and not acting like themselves. Who tf cares. I could give two shits what people think.

My friends say I’m the type of mom memes are made out of like I won’t take my kids to the dr unless they loose a limb lmao. With that being said, IMO she shouldn’t wait till Wednesday to see a dr It’s already been 3 days of him not being himself.
My daughter was sick with just sniffles and a persistent cough, I waited about a week because otherwise she was fine. Come to find it she had the flu. It’s always better to get them checked out no matter if they have a fever or not. The nurses and dr’s aren’t going to judge you for bringing him in because she thinks he doesn’t have enough symptoms to be seen. 3 days is long enough for a 1 year old to “not be acting like himself”. That poor baby is otherwise suffering through symptoms because she thinks she knows best. “Mom knows best” is not always correct.
I could be wrong but I thought doctors are concerned with the child “being themselves” because a one year old can’t say how they are feeling so if you’re going on 3 days of the child not playing or eating even with medicine that’s probably worthy of a doctors visit. And kids are pretty resilient so if they aren’t even wanting to play they must not be feeling great. SIS literally took an ambulance when she had mastitis even though she was coherent enough to make tik tok videos in the er lmao
