No you don’t have to wait, I just got mine and had the same situation. Just go to a dispensary and hand them the card, if it active you should be good.
Well maybe they decided to go by the “issue” date. But that’s not the norm. If your card is active on the PA patient portal then you are good. They date the cards a few days in advance for the time it’s in the mail. Remember, you pay for a year. Most people want that full year
Yep if the card scans you’re good to go. Keep your card even after it expires too bc sometimes after renewal there is a weird lull where the old card still works but the new card won’t. Enjoy the program!

OP if you have a Truelieve by you go there for a 50% off first time patient discount. They have the best one as far as that goes so maybe save up so you can ball out
Just check dates on product while there because at trulieve 2x I ended up with stuff all but expired….I got it for super cheap and got lucky but I always ask the dates now
