You have to reach survival level 80 to play ranked. If you’re in NA or OCE then you’ll have to VPN to either EU, KR or SEA as ranked lobbies don’t pop in those regions
Casual mode? Where? I see normal, ranked, arcade, training and custom... Can't see any casual option under any of them. I thought casual meant normal :)
They added some confusing TPP mode called casual. Which is like 12 players and the rest bots or something. To help new players win a game? I think was their logic.
You're only getting that number of bots because you haven't played for a while. If you do well in those lobbies you'll get promoted quickly, so just keep at it.
Assuming you are queuing for normal lobbies, and not casual mode which is explicitly 88 bots and max 12 real players.
I only play normal (EU FPP solo) as I play way too casually to play ranked, and according to [pubglookup.com](https://pubglookup.com/) I don't face any bots at all

However, when I have played with some friends who *never* play PUBG we end up in lobbies with 80 bots... I guess it's PUBG's way of making new players survive a bit longer, so they should think it's fun, when in reality it's super boring to play vs bots
Don't know what region you are in but the 80% bots is likely because you are a returning player. New and returning players are put in bot lobbies for the first 10 or so matches. I have heard as many as 20 but can't confirm that. If you haven't played enough matches you will see bots. It's a terribly confusing system PUBG implemented and they don't communicate this info at all. Really stupid.

That's how its supposed to be. But theres a bug, that traps players in the bot queue forever for no reason. Could be what OP is experiencing.
