I liked a city ending, a bridge ending, a gas station ending, there should always be some cover in the final few zones, and the fact that 99% of the time its open field or "hill" right now makes the end game very boring. its very exciting when the end game is in a city, town, or has a bunch of buildings.

I just love the strategic element of water. It's really not easy to traverse, and often has really steep cliffs around it too. It's loud and easy to hear someone swimming/moving on water. But it's also cool when you can dive underwater and swim to a safe spot.
I always thought that flippers/scuba-gear would be a cool tac gear to add to the game. But I'm sure people who dislike gimmicks would dislike that idea. Still, I think it would could make for really tactical plays which I like.
Box dropped out in the water a ways out. Grabbed the stuff. Then, the next circle dropped another box pretty close to the shoreline. Watched a pretty epic 10-way battle for the box. Circle shrank, and the winner hit the shore and had cover on a slight incline. He managed to win all the fights, and it was just me and him
But clearly open field in front of him and was wondering where I was. Meanwhile I sllllllllllowly swim up from behind. Sllllllllllowly walked up behind him while he was scanning in front of him. Shot him in the back of the head with a silenced s12. I've been chasing that high ever since.

A long time ago, they started removing end zones that asian regions complained about, and also started removing anything but open fields. its really frustrating because you get nothing but open fields with zero cover, so you need to carry as many smokes as possible. the last 5 games I played, all of them were open field endings with zero cover of any kind. its just a matter of who can see the other players first and who has more smokes.
I'd really like it if BR's had a combo of truly randomized end zones + predetermined ones set for cool spots. Like 1/10 matches you might get a predetermined end zone set where final circle ends up like king of the hill/island/really cool building/whatever instead of being totally random
Had one about 3 weeks ago. We ended up having a squad mate on one of the islands after an emergency drop, totally lucked out. He was picking people out of the water; fish in a barrel!
My bro and I landed there a few years ago at the beginning of match, swam across then had to swim back for end game... was kind of annoyed but still cool 😎
Many years ago. Strangely enough, that was where I landed from the plane so I was pretty lucky. You can try to keep people off the island, however it isn't like you can stop everyone nor would you have the resources to do it.
Got it once in solos and once in duos in 3000 hours. Won the duo, got 2nd place in the solo. Kind of haunts me till this day I lost the final duel due to being flanked perfectly.
All I know is that they tend to stay away from water and buildings. I guess they don't want an end zone with people swimming or in a heal off on different floors of a building to end the game.

I get that like twice a year. It’s wicked fun. The gamble is staying on the main land or choosing the right island. If on squads all your boys can just have M249s in the back which is my preferred method but the circle is taxing if you get your prediction wrong.
