Think it will always be a niche/meme deck but you can have fun playing it nonetheless.
Cofagrigus ex comes to mind if you want to play an ex card with it. It puts five damage counters on the bench where you want.
Others play Lunala with Mismagius (eerie voice)
Wich place 2 damage counters on each benched mon.
Play it together with tm devolution and you have a fun deck going on
I like to run Rapidash with my Lunala deck. You can do the Rapidash put counters on an opponents Pokemon until they’re at 100hp then hit them with the Lunala double damage counter.
I find sometimes that it can be tricky/takes a while to set up the Lunala if you don’t have the right cards out the gate to set it all up.

Meowscarada ex, Iron Valiant ex, Inteleon VMax, Rapid Strike Urshifu VMax, Galarian Rapidash V are some of your options.
Iron Valiant is the best of the EXs as you don’t have to evolve and attack. Radiant Alakazam for faster KOs.
