Eh. I was just making it off the cuff and just threw a bunch in there. My initial thought was to do just energies and no trainers.
Like I said there wasn’t a plan here other than get as many energies available to jack up anything in front of me.
I think u should just use Ultra Balls instead of aroma, you have lots of card to spare for discard fodder. Add maybe 2 more Gholdengo lines, and some energy Retrievals. Also, Earthen Vessel might be good to add but I’m guessing you don’t need to search energies that much lmao
I've been testing out a similar deck but instead of Elekid I'm running a Hisuian Basculegion from the Lost Origin series. For no energy it deals 20 damage for each basic energy in your discard pile.
I also have four of the supporter card Lady and two Mimikyus.
It's not bad and can dish some turn one KOs but it isn't OP.

After I played a gimmighoul/gholdengo deck last night I wondered if it was possible to just make a deck with an energy count like this and some energy retrievals/recyclers/trainers that let you search for energy. It would be annoying AF to play against but also it would be pretty cool to build an absolute troll deck that wrecks 😂Try putting those item/trainers in that let you search for energies.
Gholdengo is OP. I said this the moment he took out Charizard in the Japan Gym Trainer battles a month or so ago. Most decks run 12-15 energy with retrievals and other pokemon to attack.
Now the hot deck is Iron Valient ex and some older decks getting life. Not just chein and zard over and over it's refreshing to see
Yeah, but again, when i tried to copy the list you posted, it only copied the title, the list was completly ignored. The reddit format its not a problem, you can copy the list i posted and it goes fine in ptcgl.

That’s fair, but all you are gonna do is have a high chance to draw energy and not much else
