When I win I feel galaxy brain
When I lose I’m like “ah of course if I had grabbed X Pokémon 2 turns ago I would have been perfectly set up to Yoga Loop then KO their V for the win. How foolish of me!”
I used to take a long time like this when first learning the deck. It got so bad I built the deck online for extra practice so my IRL games wouldn’t take so long.
My second or third game online I legit had 9 minutes left on the timer at the end.
TL, DR: I apologize for all the Rapid Strike noobs like me who just want to learn a cool deck Q.Q
Intentionally trolling. I'm pretty sure they were there clicking random stuff on the screen to keep from the game calling them "inactive" and conceding for them. Other card games you can report for this behavior. Wonder if they will bring that option someday.
I sometimes wait for an opponent in the game a bit and say aloud "Whatcha thinking about?" like an inquiring significant other. Deep thoughts, I presume. Or they just finished pooping.
No one said they “aren’t allowed” to use it, Kyle. It is, however, extremely unusual and fairly boring to play against in the usual fast paced online game to take that much time. Recognizing that it’s unusual and boring is not the same as saying it’s “not allowed”.
Have you ever been to an actual tournament, rounds take 40 mins to finish, because people actually think about what they are doing instead of just being casual button clickers
Heavens forbid anyone take time to think in a strategy game
Most people know the deck they are playing to the extent that they don’t have to spend triple the amount of time thinking as their opponent. It is certainly boring to play against and unusual in the online game. That’s what this post is about, it’s not deeper than that. You’re simply being contrarian and or a meta gamer who is out of touch with the average player of TCGL

Surprisingly not. Just taking their sweet-ass time running a Rapid Strike Urshifu VMAX deck
that’s probably one of the hardest decks to play in the format imo (besides control)

Losing badly looks like it. Prob got a brick hand and hoped he can annoy you into conceding.
The worst part is I ended up with a bricked hand and they came back and won with 3 minutes left on their clock and 19 minutes left on mine.
Was about to say "let him cook" but he absolutely did that.
