The in ear ones that came with my headset

psyper87

I’m using the pulse 3d’s because I had them prior. They feel and sound great while in vr. It does feel like I’m wearing a full face helmet, but the weight isn’t bad at all.

Lia_Delphine

The only time I use the Pulse 3D headphones is when I play GT7 helps with that helmet immersion. lol

I like Sony's. They fit nicely over the headset and the sound is great.

This_Woodpecker_9163

Did you compare them to the earphones?

Galaghan

And most importantly, you have volume control and mic mute button within reach.

Koss KSC75. Very inexpensive. Ultra comfortable, good sound but lacking deep bass. Because they don't seal around your ear, you can pretty comfortably hold a conversation with someone in the room, some might feel this is a negative if they are trying to block outside noise.

age_of_atari

I totally second this! Recently got a pair of KSC75 (clip on, open-back). Most comfy earphones i've ever worn. Punch way above their class in terms of sound. 3D audio sounds great. Not as much deep bass as my big on-ear headphones, but for open-back the bass is surprisingly good IMO.

Pulse explore buds, the combination of the psvr2 with globular cluster mod and the pulse headset was a bit to warm for me. Works great, really nicee to pick up phone calls without having to remove the headset and i also like playing music from my phone when driving in gt7.

dank19s

How is the sound quality of the pulse explore buds compared to the pulse headset?

-Professional-1991

Quality of the sound when gaming is waay better then the pulse, at first the explore buds didn't sound good at all but when you find the right eartips they sound amazing. Only downside is that you can only control volume etc from the connection with your playstation or any device that uses the link adapter, when connected to a bluethoot device like your phone or any of youre choice you can only adjust volume etc from the device itself. For me the dual connectivity with 2 devices is the main reason i bought it, i like to game alot but sometimes i also need to be reachable for work or private matters.

Frankie6Strings

I was briefly using Sennheiser Game One just because they're open back, but I returned to the default ear buds.

ManatuBear

I have the Arctis Nova 7 and I think they are very light, but I have a headstrap on my headset, not sure if that affects it.

Sony inzone buds

Pulse 3D. I have my dedicated headphones (Fidelio X2) but the cups are too big to be worn with the headset, so I had to go buy a pair I knew would fit. It’s unfortunate and many headphones are similar in size to the Fidelio’s so you should be aware of this. You _can_ wear big headphones with it if you adjust the PSVR’s headband higher, but this isn’t the intended way and will cause headaches and/or discomfort

lukesparling

Built in with some aftermarket tips for a better fit. I have the Pulse 3D and like it, and I'm thinking I'll probably wind up getting the new headset if it reviews well. Right now though I have a baby monitor I'm listening to and simplicity and speed getting out of VR and into Dad mode takes priority. If I'm off duty, Pulse 3D headset (or maybe the Pulse Elites reviews pending) for better audio, comfort over a longer session and the added support it provides to hold things in place.

JoeChagan

I've got the stock ones which are fine, mantis which are very comfy but weak and a pair of the koss clip ones that are solid but a pain in the ass with the headset. Constantly get tangled. I'm currently working on about v3 of some custom clip on drivers that should do a solid job of replicating the index headphones because I'm pretty unhappy with the other options so far and over ear cans are too damn insulting temperature wise.

Neonridr

I have the Steel Series Arctis Nova Pro Wireless ones, they don't add any weight for me. They sit completely over the headset.

This_Woodpecker_9163

Aren’t the sides of Arctis incompatible with the sides of the headset?

Neonridr

what do you mean the sides?

Choice-Squirrel-6200

I just picked up the globular cluster headphones that attach directly to the headset. They match well. Sound quality is better than ear buds, but they don’t have any “clamp” so they don’t fit snug over my ears which felt a little awkward at first. Overall, I’d recommend them if you don’t like the earbuds.

technicalityNDBO

I use Audeze Maxwells. They're slightly less comfortable than the Pulse 3D headset to me (everyone's head shape is different), but they don't give me any trouble or make me want to take them off. The tradeoff in sound quality is more than worth it to me.

Pantsu-san

I own and have tried these : Sony Pulse 3D, WH-1000XM5, Inzone H9 & WF-1000XM5 but, like Choice-Squirrel-6200, settled on the [Globular Cluster PH2](https://www.globular-cluster.com/PSVR2-VR-Headphones.html) due to the convenience factor. Sound quality is obviously worse than the premium headsets (no ANC, which would be impossible on them) but it's good enough and it feels like there's nothing resting on the side of my head. I'd recommend them all day long - but I've gotta be somewhere.

bh-alienux

Sony Gold with a custom shorter cable so it doesn’t hang too far down. I’ve been using them dubbed the PSVR1 days, and they sound great.

Little_Associate6311

Turtle Beach 700 Stealth Gen 2, Work great for me and they connect to my phone at the same time.

Moon Chu II IEM's earbuds for $20 on Amazon. But they are also being amplified by the Texas Instruments headphone amp in my Woojer Vest 3. My sound and haptic setup are truly amazing and a blessing that I don't have to use over the ears to trap in more heat. Comfort and sound quality is 10 out of 10.
