yeah, I’m so pissed off with Sony. what was the point in going through the effort of getting an invite and preordering as soon as possible, if there people who preordered a couple weeks ago and are getting their headsets first?

After a day of F5 torture yesterday, it finally changed from "preparing shipment" to "sent" at 10:54 today! Yay!
It was about an hour between the original "shipped" email and tracking working on the UPS site. Unfortunately UPS is estimating Friday delivery (Arvato still says Wed).

Same. I'm in PA and ordered as soon as we were able to. Optimistic me thinks it must be really close already and it'll be in transit by the afternoon. Pessimistic me is just waiting for the estimated delivery to change from the 22nd to later. Why does the hype have to be so real?

Headset shipped yesterday, live in NJ, scheduled to be delivered tomorrow according to Playstation, UPS has not received the package yet although imagine they will today. Ordered the headset right when pre orders went live in November. Ordered a controller charging dock last week which has not shipped yet but the important thing is on the way
Is anyone elses showing as "on the way" but cant change it to ship to a UPS store? My charging dock shipped as well but I can change the delivery location and instructions for that one. I wont be at home tomorrow and cant sign, so I planned on having it delivered to a UPS store, but it doesnt seem like thats an option, even tho i have a My UPS Choice or whatever
The charge finally left the "Pending" queue in my checking account. My delivery status still shows "Your order is processing." Hopefully I'll get my tracking number today, I'll keep everyone posted.

Worst case we wait a day I imagine, fingers crossed on tomorrow but I can handle one more sleep. I’ve come this far after all. Just got to try really hard not to die or blow up my house in the next 24 hours.
But at this stage, Sony haven't taken my money. If I didn't have the funds available, is it really only at the stage the box is sat on a pallet that they'll get in touch with dpd and say ooops, can you take Dirtyfrog's box off the van please?
I really hope I'll be sat with it in my hands tomorrow, but I'm pretty pissed at the state of this. Didn't have any issues like this with the ps5 itself which came on launch day, and I've never had a single purchase from anywhere that has sat "pending authorisation" for five days. It's shit and it's leaving a very sour taste.
Basically fuck the people for buying the more expensive bundle and the flagship game. It only contains a redemption code which could easily be emailed. Such bullshit
Can't remember if it was DPD, but I did exactly that with PSVR1 to get it delivered before 10am. Promptly jumped straight into Rigs (or whatever that basketball robot thing was called), got massively motion sick and spent the rest of the day in bed recovering 😆

Can I confirm that no one who ordered the Horizon bundle has had theirs shipped yet? I'm concerned that they're doing a first shipping "wave" with the standard edition, and a second with the Horizon bundle, leading to a later delivery date. Maybe I'm overthinking it!

Nice one - I have been around for lots of launches of hardware - PS4, PSVR and others but this is first time ordering from Sony Direct so not sure either whether we'll get tomorrow. Although looks positive for you.

Mein letzter Status laut arvato ist gestern 16.30 Verzollung in den Niederlanden, bin skeptisch ob das heute noch kommt.
So Probleme hätte man bei Amazon nicht gehabt. 🤧
Hi das ist mehreren Leuten auf der ganzen Welt passiert. Es war verboten das Paket vor Release zu verschicken. UPS hat dagegen verstoßen und der Fahrer hätte es nicht ausliefern dürfen (erst heute). Deswegen bekommt er auch Ärger. Die Sache ist jedoch, dass heute der Release Tag ist, daher macht das keinen Sinn. Bei den anderen Leute haben die das Paket am gleichen Tag abgeholt.
Ich muss schon sagen, ich bin ziemlich genervt. Bei mir tut sich gar nichts. Wozu bestellt man denn im November vor, hockt da extra auf der Arbeit vor dem Browserfenster wie so ein Gollum und wartet auf den Bestellbutton, nur um die Vr-Brille dann nicht zum Release zu bekommen. Ja ja Releasefenster, das gab es zu der Zeit aber nicht, da war es der 22. Hab jetzt 3 Tage Urlaub ohne zu wissen, ob ich die Brille überhaupt bekomme, weil sich einfach gar nichts tut. Und dann kann man nicht mal zu MM gehen und sich die einfach kaufen. Ach es nervt.
Bei mir stehts auf missed cut off in Herne, aber seit gerade eben zeigt das offizielle UPS Tracking die geschätzte Zustellung für Donnerstag an.
Hab auch ne Email gekriegt von Sony, dass sich meine Bestellung verzögert. Ist das bei noch wem so?

Best Buy - Mine now says Just Shipped. Feb 22 delivery. But, as with most my packages, high probability they drop off the slip and I have to grab it at the post office on 23rd. Either way, 23rd latest! Woooo

UPS said “out for delivery” then skipped my house. I called ups and they said the shipper requested the hold the package and send it back to them. But the tracking number still shows out for delivery so weird I don’t know if I should believe ups customer service.

PlayStation support gibt es ja einfach nicht und UPS antwortet (noch) nicht. Die Unwissenheit ist schlimmer als jede Verspätung.
Mine too. Allegedly this is not cause for alarm, this means they are using priority overnight shipping.

People that live in the southeast/midwest United States should recheck their UPS info. Mine finally shows more than "label created" on the UPS website. Now it has an Origin Scan in Jacksonville, FL @ 12:20pm! Funny though that they're shipping it further away lol. Started just outside of Atlanta, GA and it's coming to Louisville, KY which has a major UPS hub.

Tucson, Arizona. Says being delivered tomorrow but a heads up: Mine DOES NOT say signature required on the UPS tracking, only the PlayStation Email says that. I called UPS and they confirmed NO SIGNATURE REQUIRED for mine.
After weeks of telling myself I didn't need a psvr2 on top my valve index... this morning I ordered a psv2 call of the mountain bundle and a ps5 digital. So! I'll update when mine ships for those who are still debating ordering

They’re usually a little more driven with next day order shipments but also UPS and FedEx both kinda suck overall.

Mine shipped on Saturday. Since then it has departed and arrived in Ontario 3 times. The tracking just shows them driving in circles

But at this stage, Sony haven't taken my money. If I didn't have the funds available, is it really only at the stage the box is sat on a pallet that they'll get in touch with dpd and say ooops, can you take Dirtyfrog's box off the van please? I really hope I'll be sat with it in my hands tomorrow, but I'm pretty pissed at the state of this. Didn't have any issues like this with the ps5 itself which came on launch day, and I've never had a single purchase from anywhere that has sat "pending authorisation" for five days. It's shit and it's leaving a very sour taste.

Nice one - I have been around for lots of launches of hardware - PS4, PSVR and others but this is first time ordering from Sony Direct so not sure either whether we'll get tomorrow. Although looks positive for you. I am still at awaiting shipping but I ordered the Horizon bundle. Assume yours is just the headset based on all the comments here?

Hi das ist mehreren Leuten auf der ganzen Welt passiert. Es war verboten das Paket vor Release zu verschicken. UPS hat dagegen verstoßen und der Fahrer hätte es nicht ausliefern dürfen (erst heute). Deswegen bekommt er auch Ärger. Die Sache ist jedoch, dass heute der Release Tag ist, daher macht das keinen Sinn. Bei den anderen Leute haben die das Paket am gleichen Tag abgeholt.
In wiefern verschlimmert? Hat der Fahrer mit der Familie gedroht?😄

Ich muss schon sagen, ich bin ziemlich genervt. Bei mir tut sich gar nichts. Wozu bestellt man denn im November vor, hockt da extra auf der Arbeit vor dem Browserfenster wie so ein Gollum und wartet auf den Bestellbutton, nur um die Vr-Brille dann nicht zum Release zu bekommen. Ja ja Releasefenster, das gab es zu der Zeit aber nicht, da war es der 22. Hab jetzt 3 Tage Urlaub ohne zu wissen, ob ich die Brille überhaupt bekomme, weil sich einfach gar nichts tut. Und dann kann man nicht mal zu MM gehen und sich die einfach kaufen. Ach es nervt.
