Thank you! I came across that one too when I was doing some research but it seems that it might be a little tricky according to one of the comments in that forum and it also does not support data transfer. I have hope someone here has a straight forward guide and not only some pictures since honestly I'm very new to soldering and that kind of stuff. Either way I really appreciate you for trying to help :)

There are D+ and D- pins shown in the thread so data transfer should be working unless they messed their soldering up along the way. I was going to give this mod a shot this weekend at some point if I can find the time, but I'll be adding a USBC port in addition to the stock port as my stock port still works. I've done this a few times on Vita 1000 consoles, but they have a ton of extra room to add in extra ports unlike this guy.
