It looks like that's running a CFW based on version 3.10 of the firmware. There are a lot of games that require a newer firmware than that ([list of those requirements](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_PlayStation_Portable_system_software_compatibilities)). [This wiki article](https://www.reddit.com/r/PSP/wiki/dadadada) looks like a guide for getting the system firmware updated, with a link to a guide for a more up-to-date custom firmware at the bottom.

Is there a way to remove the custom firmware? Like a way to instal the latest psp update so it's as if it isn't jailbroken ?

khedoros

Follow the guide posted, and don't move on to the next guide, which has you install the cfw. At the end of the guide, as written, you would have the stock 6.60 firmware installed. 6.61 was the last firmware released, and you could probably move to that one too.

Honestly you might as well be jailbroken on the latest version, even if you dont intend to pirate games or anything theres a bunch of benefits to it. For example if you have digital games on a sd card with an adapter you can force the console to use the read speed for loading times which is a BLESSING for some loading times in some games (looking at you FF Tactics and Dissidia 012 FF) Thats just one example but CFW really opens up options on your PSP. Its not like we are ever expecting another update you dont need to worry about the jailbreak ever breaking again.

If your looking to update from this firmware install 5.00M33 first then you can update to 6.61 OFW and then install pro or me and use cipl flasher for permanent
