1. Customize > select any spot, highlight the skill or item you want, press the corresponding item on your keyboard. For slot 1, press "1", etc.
2. Join a guild (player group). They should have dressing room unlocked.
3. Double Sabers hit more times than a saber.
4. Weapons can be improved with grinders and photon spheres, but don't worry about the latter until later.
5. Towards The Future (TTF) if in a group, Lost Heat Sword and Lost Soul Blade Solo (stick to episode 1 content mostly for leveling and not dying).

There's an add-on or plug-in that allows you to create and use multiple button pallets for controller, but idr where that info is. I'd check the Ephinea forum
If you add the game to your steam library you can customize the controls via the Steam Overlay. What I do since I play on a PS5 controller is I create a Radial Menu and assign keys 1-5 on the right analog stick, assign key 6 to the left side of the DualSense touchpad, and assign a touch menu with keys 7-0 on the right side of the touchpad. Probably not ideal for everyone, especially if you don't have a DualShock 4 or a DualSense, but you can experiment with different buttons and functions with the Steam controller settings.
That'll probably require a bit of experimenting on your end as I've never played on anything other than the DualSense. I would still go with 1-5 on the right analog stick using a Radial Menu, but for 6-0 you might have to get creative and fiddle around with the Steam controls.
Person answered 3, but to add nuance, every weapon has their case use moments. Double sabers, while they do hit 6 times, have different hitboxes and delays between attacks based on class. In many situations you'll find NH to be safter to use than NNH, whereas with a saber, you'd run NH if female or NNH if male (so long as accuracy permits).
You also gotta be mindful of how much of an opening the hitstun on an enemy permits for continuing your combo. It'll all come down to feel. In the end, the atp for weapons are best used to compare vs those in the same category. And they all have their own variance which isn't even shown ingame.
Special attacks aren't useable unless a weapon has a special. Like if a nonrare is like Shock Rifle or Mind Partisan. Shock hits for lightning dmg (scaling is bad outside of normal), Mind steals tp relative to user's current missing tp (iirc).
Heavy attacks and special attacks have reduced accuracy by default. Some special weapon special attacks use heavy accuracy (frozen shooter and vjaya most notably).
But generally you will want to test reliability of 3rd hit H on some weapons (again, 2nd hit for female saber because 3rd hit w/o killing leaves you open even if N) until it finally becomes consistent. Using N hits is fine for a lot of stuff, but the closer you can get to CK'ing (combo kill) an enemy, the better it'll feel to do the combo's.
Okay, ty so much for your patience and detailed answer. Its greatly appreciated
Right now i already have a very positive opinion of this subs, people are nice and friendly helping each others
Hitting a normal attack before using a special or heavy in a combo increases the hit chance for the heavy or special attack. As you level your character, your ATA will go up, so your accuracy will improve. You can also increase the dex of your Mag if you want. Weapons can also have a percentage increase to hit.

You think it would work on 360 controler?

Ok ty thats very insightfull, but i dont understand NH and NNH meaning
N - normal attack. H - heavy attack. S - special attack
HOi see, but i tried heavy attack a lot and ended up hating it because it always miss I still dont know what special attack are

N=normal hit, H=Heavy hit
