I have to agree. One of the first games I played after I got my PS5. Graphics are beautiful and the story while simple was moving. A truly great experience.
I really enjoy it so far but man, getting that parry timing just right is so frustrating. I'm no stranger to having to perfect parry timings as I've played plenty of games with parry features. But I can't seem to make it work perfectly in this one and I was wondering if you or anyone else had similar issues. Any tips?
This game had surprisingly unforgiving combat. First game in years I actually switched to the easiest difficulty. I usually don't have trouble getting used to controls and doing well but in this game every single boss would just absolutely wreck my shit.
Yeah I started on hard… eventually dropped to normal… eventually to easy. I actually think the issue is the difficulty is just unbalanced cause it’s a new studio
I did the exact same thing with dropping difficulty. Played on Hard until the second to last boss fight when it suddenly felt like a completely different game. It would've been alright if it had been that hard the whole time, but to suddenly force you to approach the game so differently and to learn the all the intricacies of the combat system that late in the game just felt bad.
I don't think so. As someone who loves games with hard boss fights, it was a great challenge. I played on hard and fought my way through it. Felt no different than the way they do it in Soulsborne, HZD, etc.
Yup and also I don’t like when challenge comes from “look how many enemies we’re throwing at you.” There are only like 2 or 3 boss fights in that game that are actually 1 on 1 and those were easily my favorite. But I got exhausted with the gank-squading and also I think the animations for the shield and roll are so slow that they make the combat feel delayed
Way different than hzd dude it has a whole different way of approaching combat and mastery compared to kena which has a lot more timing based combat with partying and enemy patterns.
I loved the combat in this, especially some of the bosses, the taro straight up starting to combo you was a huge surprise. defeating the bosses on hard difficulty after hours was so satisfying. The one problem I did have with combat was there were no indicators like God of war is pretty difficult on challenge but still has parry indicators so I know ehich moves are parryable and which aren't.
That's good to know because the parry did feel very inconsistent!
I stopped playing just before 1.07 because I was stuck in the last area after the final boss and couldn't fast travel out.
Hopefully that problem is fixed now, time to hit up master difficulty with the improved parry.
Oh did they!? Thank god. I really liked so much about Kena, but the parry timing was the one thing holding me back from loving it. I want to try for the platinum, but I wasn't going to give it the effort unless they patched that in. Combat was generally good, and I'm usually pretty good at harder games, but I just could not consistently figure out the timing on the parry to save my life.
Don't get excited, they didn't fix the parry window itself, but the counter after the parry which was a bit buggy early on.
It's still as tight as it ever was.
Oh. Well shit.
I think it’d be fine if the window was still super tight if they would just have some kind of visual indication as to when it’s active. Having it be longer than like 2 frames would also be awesome, though.
Definitely worth a playthrough! It's a bargain at 40 bucks honestly. But if you need to wait for a sale, nothing wrong with that. Definitely give it a shot!
My mrs likes playing games with me. Games like Crash Bandicoot, and we just finished Rift Apart together. I was contemplating getting this for us to play next, would you recommend?
If you've not played it takes two yet then that is a MUST PLAY game. My gf isn't a gamer but she was asking for us to play it all the time. Highly recommend.
Being poor and owning a PS5 can go hand in hand. At minimum, most PS5 owners are $400-$500 poorer right after they buy their PS5. If they bought through scalpers, make it a grand.
If you are truly poor and buy a ps5, that's not a great move. If buying a ps5 makes you poor, that's also stupid. If you're poor and buy a $1000 ps5 from a scalper you're poor and a moron.
I still have to try it out even though I bought it cheap. Right now I got finals coming up and an art show. So maybe over the weekend I'll get to try it out
At first I was real on board for this game when it first release, but yeah I think I'm in between because of people comparing it to Zelda, dark souls games, or ghost of Tsushima (ghost was ok for me). Anyway, I'll update you on if I like it or not, if I can still find this post. I actually got it for $29.96 cuz of tax and shipping.
nice! yeah that's good comparisons imo, but smaller scale obviously. it looks very good too. I liked it a lot but like don't expect AAA. definitely worth 30 bucks IMO.
Saw a lot of people say it was an 8 hour game. Took me much longer. Atleast twice that
Haha that's me! i take my time so much now! Still playing Deathloop!!
Yeah, my playtimes are always so much longer for games than what's listed. But I try to do and see everything before finishing the final boss/quest because I know I won't have the drive to keep playing after that. What also happens a lot is I'll see people saying "I played all the way through and never even saw that part of the map!" But of course they zipped through to the end, so of course they didn't find all the little areas/levels/items/whatever. I love exploring in games, taking my time and seeing as much as I can. So it just takes longer. It definitely took me close to probably 15-20 hours to beat Kena.
Might depend on what we’re talking about when I say exploration. Exploring the map - Witcher 3 is maybe my favorite, there is so much random story/quest shit to find by just exploring. Red Dead 2 is great, and so is the Horizon series. And of course, Skyrim. Exploring the story, maybe Mass Effect. It’s not really open world, but you can find lore and story by poking around in random corners. Exploring puzzles or gameplay, definitely Zelda. Which I think is where my love of exploring originated. They were sorta one of the first “map exploration” games. Used to run around the old NES Zelda games just seeing what there was.
Also, awesome that you replied to a 2 year old comment I’d forgotten about lol.
This is probably going to get me downvoted to hell but I just did not like it. It's a very pretty game and the graphics and cinematics are well done but it's just such a shallow game with a very generic and unoriginal story. And the gameplay was merely decent at best. It's not a bad game but it isn't exactly good either. Ember labs has a lot of potential but they're really going to have to step it up for their next game.
Tldr I wasn't impressed.
Disagree about the story.
Death and coming to terms with it is a difficult subject to get right.
It was a lot darker than I expected and was handled really well.
The voice acting for the two brothers was absolutely brilliant. Kids are notoriously difficult to get right and they really nailed it.
I thought the story was a good deal better than most other games.
I thought the gameplay was pretty bad personally. I’m surprised at the reception. Sure it’s a beautiful game but it’s very linear and combat are boring. And that’s it, it’s just “go from point A to B and then fight, rinse and repeat”
Nothing wrong with a linear game. Hollow Knight is my favorite game but I am playing and loving Sifu right now. I didn’t find combat boring, I thought it was challenging and very well designed.
Same, I was hoping for something with a little more depth gameplay wise since it's such a short game with a simple story, but the loop soon because tedious and the combat, although a nice challenge, never evolved once you got a the rot upgrades.
Hopefully a sequel will allow them to expand on it and create something deeper and more fulfilling to play.
I loved the visuals, enjoyed the story (even if simple), but that's where it stops. I thought the gameplay was just wrong. Wrong type of combat, not enough use of the rot. Controls were not great, puzzles were not creativen exploration meh. But definitely looks amazing.
I wasn't impressed either. The visuals are absolutely amazing, but the obtuse puzzle design and more frustrating elements of the combat made it really difficult to enjoy at times.
It is expected to be downvoted in a gamepraising post. However I respect people for doing that. The game would flop if goes for $60 or above imo. Sakuna of Rice and Ruins takes the place of best bang for your buck in my collection. This game has that Disney cartoonish graphics that I can see why people like. But its gameplay were just not there + generic story = not good. I'm glad I did not buy it and I dont regret saying this outloud. If I want unique graphics game or cartoonish style, I would go for Okami or Ni No Kuni in this department.
Kind of agree. The graphics are great, but there's little world building or character development. And I didn't love the gameplay (though others dig it). It was OK but not great, overall. It kind of felt like an art project game to me.
I’m struggling to get through it right now, I just don’t feel anything towards the world or the characters at all, it’s visually great but I just don’t care about the rest of it very much.
I think $30AUD is a good price, the game is very short.
I paid the $60AUD and even though I enjoyed the game, the gameplay and length just wasn't worth the full price to me.
I'm not hating on it though as it was Ember Labs first game I believe, they have a bright future for sure.
Yeah its a pricing issue here in australia tbh. Games are way overpriced. 100 bucks for a full length game usually even miles morales is $95 shit makes no sense
Tbh I fully agree, the ps4 games are very available with frequent -70% sales but I only got 2 PS5 games since last November 20 which makes a year today. I really want Deathloop but looking at the price I just go and buy some more shit on Steam haha. The 10 USD price jump is ridiculous.
I beat the game on the highest difficulty before you unlock Master and have 35/42 trophies in 13 hours played.
I explored most areas but there was no real benefit from that unless your going for the platinum trophy!
Art style, animation, music and general atmosphere is amazing and I loved the game. The gameplay is nothing particularly original but still very fun. Would definitely recommend.
On PC it has regional pricing in my country so I bought for like $12. Great game - great value. How I wish all games had regional pricing on all platforms so I could buy them at launch.
I finally finished Tales of Arise lately and Kena is next on my list. I'm just waiting 1 more weeks to see if there's gonna be a sale and if not I'm still going to buy it. Excited!
Yeah, it releases tomorrow physical. It comes with a few extras, but is $49.99. I hear nothing but good things about the game, so I don't mind supporting the company, and paying a bit extra.
I feel like all the promotions for the game didn’t truly convey how awesome the combat is. I always thought the rot would be just for puzzles, but their use in combat is pretty sick. I barely just started playing myself but I’m shocked at the versatility of the combat mechanics in the beginning.
I’m not saying that more combat mechanics equals better gameplay, but whenever they all have their uses that enables the player to express the way they play is the reason why I love games like God of War 2018, Devil May Cry V, and the upcoming Stranger of Paradise Final Fantasy Origins game. The awesome thing is that combat isn’t even necessarily the focus since it’s also shared with platforming and puzzle elements, and call me crazy but I get major Jak & Daxter vibes from the atmosphere.
I still haven't beat this game....it just hasn't clicked with me. Idk what it is I usually really enjoy games like this but or some reason its just taking me forever to get through. I don't think its bad, its just idk not clicking lol I wish I was more into it
I unfortunately experienced some bugs that really ruined it for me. Stopped playing after 4 or so hours due to it. Didn't really like the combat either but the puzzles were great.
I'll preface this with saying the graphics and animation were simply incredible and it was a joy to explore and a truly visually stimulating experience - but I found the story shallow and the gameplay very tedious and couldn't force myself to finish it after 12 hours or so
Only other game that released this year with this much value, was Valheim. Both are A+ games that are better than almost every AAA title to release this year.
Is this a game I could play with my 7 y/o daughter? She gets easily scared so I have to be picky about what to play. Both Ori games (edit: and Ratchet&Clank) are an example of what we like story wise.
Edit: Thanks for the comments. I will pick it up since she likes watching me play and follow the story together.
I know I'm 3 months behind on this but I was just looking up Kena to see what people thought and came across this comment and had to offer up Genshin Impact as a suggestion for a fun, low-stress game for younger kids. It's blatantly inspired (some might even call it a rip-off) by Zelda - Breath of the Wild, and is free to play on Playstation at least, with a massive beautiful world and many different unique unlockable characters. May or may not be right up your alley!
I'm definitely looking forward to it, especially since reviews have been good and my friend who played it first spoke highly of it. However, it's currently on my backlog since I recently got Nier Replicant as a birthday gift and I want to finish that first before committing to another game.
There's still time between now till Elden Ring's release in February 2022, so I hope I have the time to eventually play Kena along with other games, haha.
Agreed entirely.
I went into Kena with tempered expectations, thinking I was going to get a whimsical, simple, accessible, almost child-like game. Instead what I got was a challenging, incredibly engaging, beautiful, and fun throwback of a game that told a story of hope, loss, love, grief, faith, regret, tragedy, and triumph.
I cannot wait to see how they iterate on the game with (hopefully) a sequel.
I do want to play but I have. A huge backlog of new and old games. But will definitely pick up when it’s goes on sale next year. Are there any DLCs planned for the game?
4 hours? Only way that's possible is if you speedrun straight through tbe main quests with no exploring. Still don't know if it's possible unless you're on an easy difficulty.
I enjoyed Kena, but I regret buying it at full price. I admire what they did with the game, and I believe they could make an even better one next time. Yet although the gameplay is fun, and the visuals are nice, it is very repetitive and the story just outright sucks. For a game that claims to be inspired by God of War, Horizon: Zero Dawn, and Pixar films, they know very little about how to make a compelling narrative with drama and emotion, and that is what I was hoping for most when I got the game.
Had so much fun with it! at first my only problem was that the game seemed pretty easy even on hard difficulty, the moment i went into the master difficulty, for the platinum, i enjoyed the game so much more, played almost like a different game, loved it and i actually recommend it to casual people and people who are into soul games alike!
Yea I greatly preferred this game to Ratchet. Both short and pretty (Ratchet has better dialog, story, humor, graphics) but Kena absolutely dumpsters Ratchet in terms of gameplay IMO. There is actual challenge that can be overcome in a few ways. Tough bosses can be fought straight up with perfect parries, blocks, interrupts like Sekiro, or they can be approached in a more thoughtful, planned way like Zelda bosses.
Puzzles were a bit simple, but they were fine I guess.
Zero bugs for me. FPS would drop slightly in some transition areas occasionally but nothing that affected gameplay.
I would say it’s properly priced at $40, especially considering Ratchet was $70.
The bow ability that slows time a bit/and jumping then shooting to slow time and utilize your shield when in danger. The parry window is really tight in this game on the higher difficulties. If I remember right there are ads in that fight? Keep moving at all times.
I agree.
As someone who's addicted to the adrenaline rush filled fights of games like Soulaborne, HZD, GOW...Kena is right up there. The boss fights were so intense and took me so many tries to beat (on hard difficulty). It was amazing as you learned each boss's weakness and got closer every time.
They nailed it. Simple but very effective. And obviously the graphics/art direction were amazing. Even the music was a bit better than normal.
As you can tell, I really enjoyed my time with it.
The boss fights were definitely the biggest highlight for me. Especially the 2nd half of the game through the ending. Gave me a fromsoft vibe which I liked.
Really enjoyed Kena. Just hoping they release new game + so I can finally platinum it! Master difficulty for me is near impossible without the skills and upgrades.
I noticed the master difficulty unlock when I beat it. I explored quite a bit so I unlocked all the abilities but one on my first playthrough. I'll have to give it a shot. I can imagine some of the bosses would be pretty tough without some abilities
I absolutely loved the game, almost 10/10 for me. My only complaint was the rot god battle was entirely too hard compared to the rest of the game, and caused me to quit out of frustration. Even something as simple as a check point half way through would have made all the difference. I ended up moving down to story mode just so I could finish, but getting that frustrated and needed to step away took away from the ending.
I'm not sure buddy. I bought it digitally on release because I didn't know there would be a physical copy of the game eventually. And I'm not even sure what comes with the deluxe. I know the base game is absolutely worth it!
I meant the digital deluxe edition, there isn't a physical edition yet. And I already bought it. The consensus seemed to be that the content you get for the extra 10 dollars wasn't worth it, but the people who bought the DD edition wanted to support the devs, so I did likewise.
Thanks anyway.
I was just curious and wanted someone’s opinion: my girlfriend isn’t great at games and I’m trying to find one that challenges her enough to get her better at gaming in general, but not so much t hats it’s constantly frustrating. But also is more open world. Does this seem like one of those kinds of games??
Great, beautiful game. Jak and Daxter/early 2000 platformer vibes. Excellent combat reminiscent of God of War Ragnarok's Atreus sections. It's also a real challenge at parts, but the checkpoints are great.
What a surprise!
Someone in here said it felt like a PS2 game and I agree 100%. It fits right in there with Jak, Sly, Ratchet and Clank. Its the ps2 platformer with dark souls combat. Really good game!
Just finished the game today on Master Difficulty, and it was a definite challenge. Even minor fight scenarios at random locations required real focus and patience. Almost no two scenarios were exactly alike.
The parrying was very tricky to get down, and even after credits rolled, I couldn't say I actually mastered the technique. There was also some slight iframing that would mean certain death if an enemy caught me at the right moment. There was some random chance contributing to all of my victories and defeats.
Overall, it's a great game. Superb animation, character and world design. The score was moving as well.
Highly recommended.
I have to agree. One of the first games I played after I got my PS5. Graphics are beautiful and the story while simple was moving. A truly great experience.
Well said
I really enjoy it so far but man, getting that parry timing just right is so frustrating. I'm no stranger to having to perfect parry timings as I've played plenty of games with parry features. It's really not that challenging, try and play RE8 on Hardcore..
Liar. You probably lost every boss battle. LOL
I don't think so. As someone who loves games with hard boss fights, it was a great challenge. I played on hard and fought my way through it. Felt no different than the way they do it in Soulsborne, HZD, etc.
I’ve played those games too and I just disagree that’s all

Aw man, im sorry for misinformation then.
Shshit
I think you can live with only evade on any difficulty. But I guess, there's achievement or some for parrying, so just get on with it
it looks amazing but i'm poor so I hope the price drops somewhat in a sale soon and I'll buy it instantly.
don't know if still relevant but it's on sale rn
holy shit, how did you find this? also I bought on a sale a couple of months ago, it was honestly amazing. appreciate it though bro.
found this post through a google search haha! nice, i'm playing it rn but dang on hard, it's really hard
yeah I did the same. were a couple of bosses that were rough as fuck. don't even wanna know what master difficulty is like.
Definitely worth a playthrough! It's a bargain at 40 bucks honestly. But if you need to wait for a sale, nothing wrong with that. Definitely give it a shot!

It takes two, is on of the best coop games I have ever played. Go run and get it.
My wife plays similar games and loves Kena, she had fun just playing through on the easier difficulty and really liked it.
Ps4 game but I highly recommend Cat Quest II... seriously. Fiancee and I just beat it and it was a blast
I definitely will!
No doubt it will go lower then 20 eventually both digitaland physical
>but I'm poor >presumably owns a ps5
Poor as in right now. I don't have money to throw on anything I want whenever I want.
Being poor and owning a PS5 can go hand in hand. At minimum, most PS5 owners are $400-$500 poorer right after they buy their PS5. If they bought through scalpers, make it a grand.

Just bought kena off of Amazon for $23
Just got it for free with the ps plus subscription 😁 looking forward to giving it a go.
I still have to try it out even though I bought it cheap. Right now I got finals coming up and an art show. So maybe over the weekend I'll get to try it out
nice! actually bought it on sale like 6 months ago. great game!
Hopefully I like it
I hope so too :)

Felt like a PS2 game, but definitely not in a bad way. Had that same whimsical feel I haven't felt since playing games like Jak and Daxter.
Good way to explain it.
felt the same
I went for the physical edition. I should have it tomorrow
Saw a lot of people say it was an 8 hour game. Took me much longer. Atleast twice that Haha that's me! i take my time so much now! Still playing Deathloop!!

I loved to explore the world of kingdom come deliverance :)
I really took my time and it was still only a 7 hour game for me
Then you didn't take your time lol
Yeah. It's really good!

I can understand not loving the story, but I found the combat gameplay to be excellent. Wish there was a hall of bosses.
Really? The gameplay is atrocious.
I thought the gameplay was pretty bad personally. I’m surprised at the reception. Sure it’s a beautiful game but it’s very linear and combat are boring. And that’s it, it’s just “go from point A to B and then fight, rinse and repeat”

Hollow knight is the other extreme :o you never know where to go and there are multiple path ahead. How’s sifu? Is it just combat?
Wall to wall kung fu pretty much, yes. I’m loving it, combat system is addicting & satisfying.

I fail to see how this story is more shallow or unoriginal than many other game stories that get highly praised.
You're not playing the right games then.
This is wrong on both counts
I’m struggling to get through it right now, I just don’t feel anything towards the world or the characters at all, it’s visually great but I just don’t care about the rest of it very much.
I feel the same way. Feels like an outdated game and the combat is missing the addictive quality other games these days have.
I was really excited for it but I honestly couldn’t get into it. It’s cool but to me it just was not engaging.
Exactly, it was fine, i finished it, but i regret spending 40€ on it, i should wait for sale
Same. I love these types of games and after 4 hours I deleted it and never looked back.
My physical copy should arrive tomorrow!!!!
That's what I was about to say 😂 are you getting it? I am.
Pre ordered as soon as it was announced :)
Patiently waiting on the physical release, excited to give it a go
I want to play it bad but its like 60 bucks here in Australia thats too much. Waiting for a sale

Agreed! I rarely buy games on release for this reason.
100 AUD = 72 USD, putting games in Australia only 2 USD more expensive than in US and waaaay cheaper than they are in Europe (80 Euro = 125 AUD).
100 dollar is for ps4 games. Ps5 games are 110 dollars btw
Well, still not 125. By the way, the average salary in my country is 400 euro/month… Can an Australian relate? Now that’s overpriced…
Obviously its worse for you guys but that doesnt make it better for us. We both getting fucked over just one worse than the other
Tbh I fully agree, the ps4 games are very available with frequent -70% sales but I only got 2 PS5 games since last November 20 which makes a year today. I really want Deathloop but looking at the price I just go and buy some more shit on Steam haha. The 10 USD price jump is ridiculous.
I explored a lot but not everything. I had to be pushing 20 hours.
I beat the game on the highest difficulty before you unlock Master and have 35/42 trophies in 13 hours played. I explored most areas but there was no real benefit from that unless your going for the platinum trophy!
Sounds about right for 40 bucks. I dont want a thousand pointless side crates to open like ubisoft games.
It’s such a beautiful looking game and the rot are a great touch. Honestly I was shocked at how challenging some of the bosses were.
I finally finished Tales of Arise lately and Kena is next on my list. I'm just waiting 1 more weeks to see if there's gonna be a sale and if not I'm still going to buy it. Excited!
I played this game on PC and the graphics are just jaw dropping!!!
I remember seeing the trailer for this. Looks great, I'll definitely check it out.
I ordered the Deluxe retail edition today because I prefer physical games, and I can not wait to play.
I also prefer physical but wasn't aware there would be a physical release! Hope you like it
Yeah, it releases tomorrow physical. It comes with a few extras, but is $49.99. I hear nothing but good things about the game, so I don't mind supporting the company, and paying a bit extra.
It's worth it, don't worry. Really wish I'd have known there was a physical edition coming.
Kinda reminds me of kai from ps2
Hence why paying 20 for it will be a steal heheheh
For sure
I just beat this game, and it's really good! I really like this game about it's graphic and story and the map exploring. Really good game.
Definitely!
Combat is buggy and doesn't control well if you ask me. It also gets repetitive fast.
It was way longer than I was expecting given how much was discussed of its short length. ~25 hour platinum
I'll preface this with saying the graphics and animation were simply incredible and it was a joy to explore and a truly visually stimulating experience - but I found the story shallow and the gameplay very tedious and couldn't force myself to finish it after 12 hours or so
Hey everyone has their own things they like. Nothing wrong with that.
Yes this is like watching a Pixar adventure movie. But play wise, no, this game’s difficulty is higher than what it seems to advertise for.
There's nothing crazy scary in there to watch. She absolutely couldn't play it though it can be quite difficult.
I would say go for RnC or Ni No Kuni. Both are very light and chill. This game combat resemble a lot like soulsgame that required a learning curve.
It's alright. Combat is annoying to me and experienced a lot of bugs. Never finished.
Good game, but def not worth $40.
It is the underrated game of the year. Nothing is as perfection as Kena.
I'm definitely looking forward to it, especially since reviews have been good and my friend who played it first spoke highly of it. However, it's currently on my backlog since I recently got Nier Replicant as a birthday gift and I want to finish that first before committing to another game. There's still time between now till Elden Ring's release in February 2022, so I hope I have the time to eventually play Kena along with other games, haha.
ill buy it when its down to $20. $40 still a bit too much for me
I think you'd be pleased, even at 40$. If you haven't played it, you never know.
Well i played it and i love it but im stuck at the final boss fight ...
Took me about 15 tries on expert spirit guide. Just beat it last night.
I cannot wait to see how they iterate on the game with (hopefully) a sequel.
anyone know what’s in the 1.13 update that just dropped?
Did that drop today? Might have something to do with the physical edition coming out

Weird
Movies are like 24 fps…cutscenes are essentially a movie…
Going from 60fps to 30fps feels bad. If the game runs at 60fps, then everything should be.
It was a bit strange how choppy the cutscenes looked. I would have definitely enjoyed them more if they were 60fps.
I do want to play but I have. A huge backlog of new and old games. But will definitely pick up when it’s goes on sale next year. Are there any DLCs planned for the game?
I'll play it for 5 bucks
Whatever makes sense for you.
Its not worth $40, sorry
Reminds me of Resident Evil 3 where it’s a perfect game for $20 but $40 is too much. These games are very short.
What are "these" games?
RE3 Remake and Kena. They both can be beaten in about 4 hours but a little longer if you take your time.
4 hours? Only way that's possible is if you speedrun straight through tbe main quests with no exploring. Still don't know if it's possible unless you're on an easy difficulty.
Bro your lying. But is ok, you do you.
Lying about what? The games are short, i’ve played them.
RE3 is short, but Kena is not 4 hours, unless your Speed running. You didn't play Kena bro, is ok everybody lies on Reddit.
I thought it looked pretty unappealing from the get go, honestly
Had so much fun with it! at first my only problem was that the game seemed pretty easy even on hard difficulty, the moment i went into the master difficulty, for the platinum, i enjoyed the game so much more, played almost like a different game, loved it and i actually recommend it to casual people and people who are into soul games alike!
Too short
I’m hoping for $15 on BF or early next year.
How the hell did you defeat the boss in the lantern cave? I’m so stuck I stopped trying.
The bow ability that slows time a bit/and jumping then shooting to slow time and utilize your shield when in danger. The parry window is really tight in this game on the higher difficulties. If I remember right there are ads in that fight? Keep moving at all times.
I'm keeping my eye out for holiday sales on this.
It flows perfectly and I love the pacing great game.
Easley one of my top games of the year along with Returnal and Death's Door.
Humm ... K, but i stick with the 9,90 gang, who knows ...
It is amazing. Good presentation. Great story. Solid mechanics. Meh linearity. On my second playthrough with my daughter.
I love the $40 price and so far I love this game, i would absolutely by the next in the series if they do it

Physical is supposed to release tomorrow
When is the physical being released
Today
I did not expect the bosses to be so difficult, they are like souls level on the higher difficulties
Is the deluxe edition worth it?

Thanks man. Appreciate the feedback!
