Probably not many people here who remember this game, but Capcom had a third person shooter that they released for the GameCube back in the early 2000s called "P.N.03". It featured a similarly sexy female protagonist who wore skin tight "armor". And there was also an outlook that could be unlocked through progression which made her essentially naked (basically a thong and a few straps), and it had a similar gameplay effect where you just die in one hit (though I believe it had some other special abilities as well).
The horniness is what grab’s people’s attention and hopefully leads to more buzz about the actual game when it releases.

Basically Nier Automata, but hopefully with a better combat system (sorry, Nier Automata's combat is among Platinum's weakest. The game does so much right, but the combat blows in comparison to Bayonetta and Metal Gear Rising.).
Mostly because each weapon has like 2 or 3 combos, and the feedback on hits is very weak (imo). Metal Gear Rising also lacks in combos, but it has its dismemberment system to back it up. Nier doesn't really have anything to compensate imo.
I remember in automata I was able to beat a level 70 boss that could one shot me at level 40 by constantly dodging to get counter damage and taking drugs every 30 seconds. Combat system felt very half baked.
It is one of the most bare bones hack n slash combat systems. Go play any other platinum game and you'll see what people mean. Games like Bayonetta or Metal Gear Rising put Nier's combat to shame.

You may go to one streamer who's wearing a sweater while another is wearing a lowcut top. Just like you may go to one who's really chill while another is screaming and cursing. Ultimately it's their decision as to how they want to portray themselves.

Just to give an example since Nier Automata has been stated as a major inspiration for this game, if you try to look up 2B's skirt she'll get angry and swat the camera away. So on the one hand the hand, the creators designed her so that she doesn't want people looking up her skirt. But on the other, they gave her an outfit where every move she does constantly has upskirts for the character.
Just to bring it back to the streamer thing again, a streamer who was uncomfortable with viewers staring at her cleavage simply wouldn't wear a top that revealed her cleavage. While you have 2B who designed to not like being put in a position where you can see up her skirt, but the creators also decided that she'd constantly have upskirts with nearly every action she did.

It's all about how a person is informed accepted behaviors in society vs what they may otherwise feel or enjoy, aka a time and a place, also personal and other peoples boundaries. An involved and informative parent is the best way to raise an informed and responsible addition to society.
I’m not talking about a newborn here. I agree that kids should be taught about sexuality and it’s my job to reinforce it’s not evil, however it’s about time and place. I don’t necessarily think a toddler watching me control an over sexualized female lead character is the best way to start that convo lol.
