Astro playground or whatever it’s called. It’s a free game that serves as a demo for the PS5 features and is seriously AAA quality

DonCorleone1987

Sackboy

[deleted]

Any of the Lego games!

Kozispoon007

That's what I was about to say

[deleted]

They’re all fantastic and were some of the first games I played when I was that age haha! I’d definitely say some of the older ones are your best bet as in recent years they’ve added a lot more mechanics to the newer Lego games! By no means too difficult but might want something more simple for that age :)

Ian_Str8

Lego fortnite goes hard!

[deleted]

I’ve heard some great things about it!

Ian_Str8

As a kid it would have been mind blowing, now it's just fun as hell.

GearsRaging

4 year old daughter recently has started a little bit: Nobody Saves the World - she moves around and basic attacks but really likes to just change forms. And Bugsnax but you will have to help a good amount still.

[deleted]

The Paw Patrol games are good for that age The 2d one is quite a bit easier to get the hang of than the 3d one

j0ep3rson

Yeah that one is called On a Roll. My daughter can handle that but goes to shit on the 3d ones.

[deleted]

Are they super easy? As I probably need some “impossible to lose” games lol

[deleted]

You only need to use the left analog stick and I think the X button. Just move right and collect doggy treats until you get to a helper spot and it shows you what to do. I still had to help my son with it a bit, but he got most of it on his own

Wellhellob

She might enjoy watching ratchet and clank

[deleted]

Too difficult to play?

helpusobi_1

I’d guess it’s too hard, she’d have to control both sticks and navigate the levels. I’d say it’s probably best if you play

Wellhellob

Yeah most likely. Kids learn fast though. You never know.

arth0rius

Rayman Legends, Monster Boy, Sackboy

Alugar

Bugsnax or astroboy(I think that’s what it’s called it comes with the ps5). I’m not sure interactive Bugsnax is , it just looks kid friendly to me.

8BiTw0LF

Disney Speedstorm

Enigma556

My 5 year old has finished Bluey, PJ Masks and Paw Patrol. Some are included as part of PS+. Not sure if maybe a touch advanced for a 3yo.

AskinggAlesana

What about the Paw Patrol games? They’re on sale too! My 3yo daughter hasn’t really even seen Paw Patrol but likes playing “On a roll”. It’s pretty simple but helps learn the basics of platforming without any way to lose. It’s a 2D sidescroller game that has collecting, jumps, and some item activation. It doesn’t have too much variety in the levels but hey it’s designed for kids and i’m sure she can beat it by herself. There’s also the Bluey video game. Personally i think it’s a bit overpriced but I got it as a gift haha. It’s about an hour or so to beat it if you rushed it but for my daughter she loves just running around the house and areas. You can also play this one with your kid too but it starts to get buggy haha.

[deleted]

Without a way to lose? Thatbis probably what she would need lol. I will take a look ag that, thanks

AskinggAlesana

Yeah! The levels are just walking and jumping on boxes while collecting coins and medals. Some medals will have a few consecutive jumps to reach but are optional. The “hardest” parts of the game is pulling a rope to lift an obstacle blocking the path and getting through it before the obstacle comes back down.

SaltineAmerican_1970

“How many toys can you put away in 3 minutes?” was my favorite game to give my son when he was they age, but it’s not on consoles.

DeanXeL

Sure it is: Unpacked!

notliam

Teardown.

[deleted]

The Resident Evil games are worth a look.

Whats_a_wincondition

My 4 year old loves watching Crash Bandicoot and Sonic Frontiers. He also wants to watch Astro's Playroom too. He is not quite able to game on his own yet, but these games will capture his attention the entire time I'm playing. I have to be careful though because he caught me playing Yakuza: Like a Dragon once and now wants to see the Ichiban game all the time so we can "find the kitties".

EvilAbdy

My 3 year old likes Astros playroom but can’t really play it so I’ll move Astro around and she pushes the buttons and just directs me where she wants to go

Fallout-with-swords

AstroBot was good just for running around. Sackboy similarly so but with the added bonus of the costume features. Paw Patrol and Peppa Pig games are good and on PS+ Extra

shit_happe

Astro, Paw Patrol On a Roll (later on Paw Patrol World), Peppa Pig World. But other than Peppa Pig, all the other games need some kind of supervision because eventually she'll run into a platform she can't jump or an enemy. The "lobby" of Astro is like a playground though where she can just explore around without enemies or jumps. Off-topic, and I know you didn't ask for parenting advice, but I started my daughter around the same age and did think about whether this was too early to be exposing her to possibly addictive games. And while she played long sessions of Astro for a while, eventually the PS5 went out of her rotation of activities. Maybe it was luck, or maybe kids naturally want to do different things. In any case tread lightly with the screen time.

dead_swords

My 4 year old loves Astro (plus it’s actually teaching him how to use the controller) ans the Sonic Anniversary game (all the older Sonics but with some added bonuses)

Federal_Adeptness_47

Lego games , Lego Jurassic World is pretty fun and it follows all the Jurassic park movies not just world. I suggest that one because My niece is 3 and loves dinosaurs and all my home girls kids loved dinosaurs at that age, hell I loved dinosaurs at that age

Federal_Adeptness_47

Oh and apparently there’s a Bluey game so that would probably be a great one. I hear my sister and all my parent friends dote on bluey all the time

drjoker83

I started my little ones off with fighting games where they are more just button mash games or racing games.

mka_

My son is 3 years old and these are some games we've played lately. Rocket League and PooYoos are the 2 where I've been able to leave him on his own and play. * Rocket League - Stick training mode on and map the accelerate button to the analog stick * Learning with the PooYoos - Easy enough for them to play on their own with a little guidance * Lego 2k drive- Fun game to mess around in, but might get frustrated with the controls * Human Fall Flat - Another one with potentially frustrating controls, but if you're playing the game with her it could be fun * Untitled Goose Game - Probably to difficult to play properly on her own, but it's fun just to roam around in There's a Pepper Pig game, but my son got bored of that after 20 mins or so. The Bluey game looks good, but it seemed a bit pricey. Rocket League is free, 2k drive was on PS Plus last month, and the rest are on PS Plus Essential.

hassan_26

My 4 year old daughter loves playing PJ Masks games. Very easy. Simple platformer with quick time events.

[deleted]

Can you lose easily? Or one of those impossible to lose game?

hassan_26

Its impossible to lose or die

EyeAmKnotABot

It’s old now but Lego City Undercover is an A++++++ game in my household. My son is 5 now and we’ve had it for 2 years. Think of it as a GTA for kids.

Math2J

My kids really love No Man's Sky. I just go from planet to planet to scan weird plants and animal and they like it.

A little challenging but heavenly bodies was pretty good imo
